The Centaur Liaison Office is the section of the department dealing with relations between wizards and centaurs.
Since its inception, no centaur had used the Office until a momentous moment 2011. In the Ministry, the phrase "being sent to the Centaur Office" had until then, been an in-joke meaning that the employee in question is about to be sacked.
Romaine Blackthorne is now assigned here.

Spirit Division
The Spirit Division is one of three divisions under the control of the this department. It deals with all duties and problems concerning those magical creatures classified as a "Spirit" by the Ministry. The reason why the Ministry created this division is because it doesn't fit if spirits categorized as "beings", when they are in state of "dead".
Operatives of the Spirit Division are sometimes called 'Spooks' or variations. Their official titles are "Spirit Workers".
In the past decade, when addressing hauntings, it has become protocol for agents of the Spirit Division to divine the cultural origins of the haunting spirit in order to determine the best course of action.
Sometimes the Division is called out to situations that aren't caused by spirits, but the wishful hopes of a recently deceased family. The 'Spooks' have become rather adept at draught exclusion to solve cold rooms in wix households.[2]
Werewolf Wing
The werewolf wing was established in 2008 by then Head of Department, Covadonga Gertrudis. It took charge of all werewolf matters from Being Division. Werewolf Wing
Werewolf Capture Unit
The Unit is tasked with the capture of any werewolves deemed to be a threat, although, to judged by the largely unimpeded activities of Fenrir Greyback, they may not be the best funded or highest priority segment of the Department. Full page: Werewolf Capture Unit
Isolation rooms
Taken over from the Beast Division when the Wing split off, some enchanted rooms have been repurposed to house captured werewolves. The rooms take on the convincing appearance of a comforting environment for whoever is in the room. Savvina Katopodis was held in one in December 2011. [3]
