Short Bio: Bartholomew Trackwell Snicket (NPC) is a writer for The Quibbler. Bartholomew was a half-blood Gryffindor alum, raised by his father who was a muggle newspaper editor, inspiring his passion for writing.
The most notable thing about Bartholomew is that no one knows what he looks like. Only three people have gotten a look at his real face and they aren't telling. Bartholomew has worked to keep the public records of him as secret as possible. Being a rather paranoid individual, Bartholomew sees conspiracies in his morning cereal, making him an excellent writer for The Quibbler. All of his articles are sent to the publisher through convoluted secret drops, never the same way twice.
Few know that Bartholomew's first choice of a career was to be an Auror, although he flunked out of the Auror Training before his first year. He was excellent at Concealment and Disguise and Stealth and Tracking, skills that aided his efforts to, for all purposes, disappear from the public eye of the wizarding world.
Because of his skills, Bartholomew has the annoying habit of coming into knowledge that he should in no way be able to have access to in his hunt for the "truth", ironically making him one of The Quibbler's most well informed writers though his paranoid beliefs make his articles not at all accurate.
Some think that "Bartholomew" is a pen name for suppressed members in the magical government that view The Quibbler as the only means to get the truth out. But who really knows, Bartholomew may be floating this conspiracy around himself.
