Athena Marrowbone delights in the blood and gore she encounters in her craft as a healer. Her height and big personality tend to polarize how people feel about her, but ultimately her goal is to help people and have a good time and get on with life.
Character History 2013 - 2017:
Athena was among the personnel under close scrutiny over the leaking of werewolf patient records in summer 2013. The breach saw a sharp drop in werewolf patients but a rise in more serious injures among registered and unregisterd werewolves alike.
She was also tasked with the consequences of the consensual vampire bite legislation of 2012, which she was reluctant to support. More bites meant more bites gone wrong. As the years wore on, though, she noticed a possible unmet need: magical medical care for vampires was completely lacking in Britain. In 2016, she took a sabbatical from St. Mungo's to go to Romania where wix were studying the field. St. Mungo's has yet to implement anything formal, but she's hoping to accomplish this in 2018.
Summary: Athena continues to lead the Creature Injuries floor at St. Mungo's. She's begun to work in the controversial field of vampire healing.
