Artemis is an active member of the St. Mungo's community. She spends long hours working in the Spell Damage ward not only helping her patients but helping the visitors who come to see their loved ones in various stages of injury. She enjoys reading and going out with her friends. She is sympathetic to the plight of the injured or afflicted. When done wrong can hold a grudge for a very long time.
Physical Description
Not dreadfully tall, but not exactly tiny. Her shape is curvy and she is quite alright with that. Though she may not tower over people, Artie can hold her own. Her legs are well shaped and often hidden under skirts that are cut about the knee. Enjoys dressing up but can be just as much the girl in blue jeans and a t-shirt. Her basic lounge wear is sweats and an old vintage t-shirt.
Has long red hair, which she generally keeps a little longer than shoulder length. Wearing it up when studying so that the soft red strands won't get in way of her glasses. Has a tattoo on her right shoulder of medium sized star with little stars dripping off it. Wearing glitzy jewelery that once belonged to her grandmother, she tends to collect pieces from different venues.
Personality Description
Saucy, with class. Loves to have a good time but has a witty tongue. Isn't afraid to put you in your place if you mess with her. Enjoys spending time with her friends and going out to different stores to look at jewelery and loves to explore old shops for items that could be used to heal others or herbs. Loves her older brothers Zane, and Phineas. They were raised by her father so she is a big daddy's girl often writing to them about her week or whatever else random is going on in her life. Was a member in good standing of Charms club for all of her Hogwarts career and enjoyed spending long hours in the library reading up on anything of interest she could get her hands on. Loves rainy days and sits in the window box of her flat with her black cat named Binx curled up with a book or a hot cup of tea.
Has had a desire to help others since her father used to tell her stories of the Battle of Hogwarts and how he helped save others. Considering she was never much of a fighter, Artemis decided she would much rather protect and heal others finding the path of health and the medical field more appealing.
Raised to have a logical mind, going off her brain rather than following her gut. Generally feels that her gut and heart can get her into more trouble than it's worth. Lately has been leaning away from her logical side delving more into the emotional reserves she has stored away from the light of day. Enjoys people who are spontaneous and can hold their own in a conversation. Finds sarcastic and cheeky boys to be attractive, she also enjoys being chased.

History
Born to Gale Crombwell and Candice Kane. Tandy married Gale when they ended up pregnant unexpectedly with their eldest son Zane. A little over a year later the other son came who they named Phineas. It was not too long after that the couple started to fight. Gale who worked for the ministry as an Unspeakable, tried very hard to keep his wife's wandering eye on him. Giving her everything he could think of she still started to drift away.
In a desperate attempt to save his marriage, when the boys were four and three, Gale took his wife on a romantic trip to Greece. There they seemed to fall in love all over again, the couple spent the two weeks wrapped up with one another. This caused an unexpected consequence, a little girl came nine months later which her mother had little interest.
Depressed, and hating her life as stay at home mother, Candice started staying out more and more. Visiting pubs and avoiding her responsibilities at home. Eventually when Gale came home one night he found a scratch piece of parchment with the words “I can't do this” scrawled across it. The shock hit him like a wave, Gale found himself raising two boys and a baby girl on his own. Lucky for him, his mother was willing to watch the babies until he could find a suitable nanny.
Rosita was her name. She was a Governess and taught the children their subjects. Zane and Phineas pulled more towards sport and activity while little Artemis was a great pupil often reading along and asking for clarifications when she came across things that didn't make sense. This continued into school, always being protected by her older brothers who each were sorted into Gryffindor, she found herself less in their shadow as she was sorted into Ravenclaw.
The girl made friends easily and was pleased to find herself along like minded individuals who enjoyed books, reading, and their class schedules. While attending her first few years, Artie found she was skilled in Potions, Herbology and Charms. Joining Charms Club shortly after her second year, she continues to enjoy those classes immensely often spending extra time in the class rooms going over the material for her next exam or essay.
When she left school with high scoring NEWTS, Artemis went onto be an intern for St. Mungos under the watchful eye of Jason Marren. The man taught her everything she needed to know about healing and helping others. She holds him in high regard and respects his abilities. When she finally became fully endowed with the rights and responsibilities of a Healer, Artemis became a healer on the Fourth Floor St. Mungo's – The Spell Damage floor. This was where her specialty lies being quick on her feet and ready to work on the most tragic and dangerous hexes, jinxes, and spells.
Recently Artemis has found that her mother has been trying to contact her. Instead of forgiving Candice and letting her back into her life, Artemis hold a grudge often ripping up the letters and throwing them into the fire of her hearth for good measure.

How do you go about it? How did you get your current occupation? How does your past and abilities justify your current skills?
Based off her skills in school of maintaining high grades in her main subjects, Artemis is well versed in reversal spells and medicines. Every day she goes to work, checks in on the Spell Damage ward and does rounds to see who is improving, who has not, and what she might be able to do to help ease their pain or symptoms. She was trained by Jason Marren for her current position and on a regular basic picks his brain for possible solutions for the questions she cannot answer due the inexperience that comes with youth.
