In the secret employment of Ira Almasy. An extremely bright and quiet French-British witch who has a reputation for being a quick learner. Artemis is perceived as a listless introvert but anyone on close terms with her would know that she has an active mind, as well as a penchant for setting up highly complicated magical wards. She comes from a family of curse-breakers and enchanters although she has no intention of following either path. Artemis has a close working relationship with Ira, who is helping her to become adamant at protecting secreted magical areas across the country.
