Archer is an Auror who is known for being methodical and level headed during investigations. However, when investigations involve those he is close to or are particularly egregious, he has been known to be over zealous. His past with the office has been rocky, particularly as he served through the fall of the ministry in the Second Wizarding War. During that time, he had been suspended for various breeches of protocol.
He returned to the auror office after the war was over to reclaim his spot in the office. He was promoted to Senior Auror in 2010. Most often, he is working with Jonas Trevelyan and Edward Pratt.
He is romantically linked to his boss Tamis Raynor.
