Alice |
Alice is a creative writer who is too gullible for her own good. She puts others before herself too much and is attached emotionally to her family.
Physical Description
She has fair skin, a bit oily on her nose, and freckles in the summer. She has brown wavy hair that falls to about her shoulders and brown oval shaped glasses. Alice has cocoa brown eyes. Her nose is small, and she has a dimple on her left cheek.
Her hair is rarely up, and is usually quite messy. She loves knitted things such as hats, scarves, sweaters, and mittens, and so she wears a lot of these things. At home, Alice can be caught wearing old, hand-me-down jeans and a comfortable T-shirt. Usually with a beanie on.
==Personality Description== She is very frightened and Naive, but very kind. Alice will do anything for a friend, and loves feeling of being needed. She needs someone older however, to almost act as though her older sibling for she grew up leaning on her older brother. She is easily taken advantage of because of her gullibility, and doesn't stick up for herself the best. She gives it a solid attempt but backs down almost immediately.
Her passion is to write and to create, and is most oftenly seen writing in a notebook her brother had made for her using the purple ink she loved so much that she had gotten as a christmas present from Mark. When uncomfortable, awkward, embarrassed, or anxious, Alice will hide into her notebook where she is free to say what she wants and can pour out everything and anything.
She cannot handle the sound of velcro because as a toddler, she used to chew on it. When she hears this sound, she gets terrible pain in her teeth just like as a child.
She loves learning new things and is excited by the way people think and act. She also is insanely obsessed with muggles.
History
Born to Franklin Hunter, a muggle, and Cynthia Houtian, a witch, on February 28th, 1998, Allison Samantha Hunter was the cutest baby with the chubbiest of cheeks.
When only 3 months old, her mother and father took their family out of England in order to be safe from Voldemort's wrath. They fled to France, and hid with Frank's sister, Wendy, in their basement. While in hiding, Alice's older brother, Mark, at the age of 9, and her older sister, Jane, at the age of 8, both were experiencing the beginning of becoming magical. The Hunters' needed to keep this magic quiet so that no one would notice, and so, Mark and Jane were mostly kept inside. After Voldemort was killed, The Hunters stayed with Wendy for the next few weeks, in order to make sure no other uprisings were going to begin.
Alice, now 4 months, and her family went back to their small but cozy home on the water in Outon Broad, Sufflolk. Her parents, not as wealthy as most families, but not dirt poor as others, made this house a home. She grew up here, in their old house and played by the ocean each day.
All throughout her childhood, Alice was stuck to her brother, Mark's side. Even when he was at school, she would mail him letters each day, and instead, leaned on her mother heavily. Family was the most important thing to her, and to be separated from it killed her inside. But it was a rarity when that happened.
In 2004, the Hunter family welcomed little Colin into their life. Colin had the brightest blue eyes ever seen and was always giggling up a storm and, as later in his life he would prove, everyone loved him. Even a bit more than Alice, though they would never admit that.
Mark had the biggest impact in her life. He gave her the small amount of attention she needed, and encouraged her to do her best. He taught her writing and reading were the best gifts humans were given. He taught her how to read and write, and also showed her how to express herself through this writing. Seeing that writing and reading were simply created, Alice became obsessed with anything created, including all of the things her mother knitted for her. This would later become her passion.
Alice never had many friends, but she didn't feel as though she needed them. Her older brother was enough. She was home schooled, but didn't mind. She caught on to things speedily. Her mother was afraid to send her to public school, fearing that one day, Alice would begin doing magic. The family was surprised that at the age of 8, Alice wasn't showing any signs of magic in her, but when they waited another year, her magic kicked in. A late bloomer was what her mother called her.
Her sister, Jane, was never as supporting of her. Before showing signs of magic, Alice was called a Squib by her sister.
Alice was over joyed when she received her letter from Hogwarts. She was ecstatic to get to meet others and have a chance of becoming someone as successful as the rest of her family.
