Appearance: Heavy, broad shouldered. His head is framed by pepper gray facial hair, thick muttonchops and sideburns though his chin and mouth are cleared of hair. Dresses lavishly and old-fashioned with waistcoats and ascots.
Short Bio: Ainbheartach is the current head of the O’Doherty family enterprise. He has always lived rich and loans out the family wealth for illicit causes with heavy stipulations attached. He figures himself a shrewd businessman and gambler though his ability has declined over the years. He is not as savvy as he thinks he is, sometimes his wife Neasa takes more of a leadership role. Life has been easy for him given the power of the ancestral wand, though he has grown lax in the comfort of his home. He is a Slytherin alumnus, entering Hogwarts in ’34.
His word goes in the family and given how the grooming of his son did not go over well (insolent whelp, he thinks) Ainbheartach did not make the same mistakes when reconditioning his grandchild Casey. By proving his might, Casey is allowed to study with the ancestral wand plus a bevy of other privileges. The family patriarch is held back by his love for the drink and drunken rages or stupors may block out his previous plans, making him no longer as cunning as he once was.
