Job & Description: He is a thief, and has recently revitalized the Wizarding Black Market.  He is known for his ability to gain rather rare artifacts, all though his exact methods are unknown.  He does often work with others when he can't get what he wants on his own, or he wants to ensure success. 

Physical Description: He is rather tall by most standards, being at a steady 6'1" but it isn't enough for him to stand out too much.  He stays in good shape, and physically appears to be a man in his 40s, despite actually nearing his 70s. He has hazel eyes, and brown hair with white temples.  His clothes are usually non-descript in nature and not easy to pin down.

Personality Description: The term "crazy, not stupid" certainly applies to Argent Denora. He is absolutely insane, but retains a keen criminal intellect. Alex has thwarted him several times, with each setback exponentially worse in nature. As a result, he seeks revenge on him, and seems to be purely driven by it.

He finds a pleasure in other people's pain, and does all he can to inflict it on others. In his earlier years he was a more stable person, but the decades of dark magic have left him corrupted and insane. Every now and then, a glimmer of his intelligence shines through.

History: Argent is a ex-Death Eater from both the First and Second Rise of Voldemort, and while was not one of Voldemorts most trusted, he was one of the most reliable.  His work most helped Voldemort during the First Rise.  However, upon the Dark Lord's disappearance he went into hiding to investigate his disappearance.  Instead he got caught up on research on Alchemy and began to be a major player in the Black Market.  Leading the most in illegal alchemy and dark artifacts.

This continued for a long time, and it became routine for Argent. However, in 1989 the Auror Alexander Belisario managed to infiltrate and get to Argent.  Argent did his best to fight off the Auror, but was squarely beaten by Alex, who was very capable hand to hand fighter.  Argent had no hope of beating Alex if he couldn't keep a distance.  In a last ditch effort, he managed to temporarily blind the Auror and apparated away to safety.  He went into hiding but his grudge began to start for Alex that day.

Argent managed to get the Black Market moving again, and was quite the resource when the Dark Lord would return, which he assumed would happen.  That was however, until another Auror known as Tait Aldridge busted up his Black Market on what would have been his biggest trade.  Angry beyond reason he sent a group involved with the Black Market to kill Tait.  And to his happiness it was successful.

He did not count on, however, that Alexander Belisario would be part of the team investigating Tait's murder.  With the Dark Lord back, he could not keep himself completely hidden, and plus he had new tricks if he had to deal with Alex once more.

However, Alex did track him down, and beat him within an inch of his life. Alex then moved on to Argent's men, and disposed of them one by one.  For the first time in his life Argent was afraid, but he would never give his enemy the satisfaction of seeing it on his face.  Alex, however, wasn't attempting to capture him. He was hunting him.  As it turned out Tait had been a Auror that Alex had personally trained, and took it personal when Argent had killed him. 

Argent's thoughts turned only to escaping, and revenge. As a last resort, Argent had used a volatile alchemic concoction and set the place ablaze. He managed to escape, using the fire as a distraction.

He went into hiding, and planned for the moment when he would be able to plot his revenge. What little there was left of his sanity finally peeled away, leaving only chaos.

Having revitalized the Wizarding Black Market, Argent now has the money and resources to do anything he pleases. His ultimate goal is to make Alexander Belisario's life a living hell. He's only waiting for one thing... opportunity.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Argent lives to inflict pain and torment on others. His methods, while unorthodox and cruel, get the job done. He's not the kind of person you'd want to spend time around, and he carries a reputation with those that have crossed his path.
