Lexi stood in front of the mirror in her room, slightly freaking out. What should she wear? Should her hair be up or down? Pony tail or brain? The options were endless. She walked over to her closet and opened the door. She grabbed her shorts, a deep navy blue, and a white tank top. Not spaghetti straps, the slightly thicker kind of straps. She pulled them on along with her white tennis sneakers. Finally, she looked halfway decent-ish. Her hair just wasn't right! She pulled her brush out and pulled it through her un-cooperative hair, getting all the knots out.

She sprayed some de-frizzifying stuff that she loved, no frizz at all, no matter how humid it got! Ok, now what to do with it... She pulled her brush back out and pulled it back into a french braid, no, that was too formal. She shook it out and pulled it back into a high ponytail. Perfect! Finally she was ready to go. She grabbed her bag and stuffed her wand in the inside pocket. She walked over to Annette's house where she had been ordered to arrive at 11:30, just to make sure they were ready. She knocked on the door and took a step back, waiting for an answer.

The door swung open"Hello? Who are you" An elderly old woman stood in the door way. "Oh, your Miss Annette's friend, come in love." She stepped back and gestured Lexi inside. She said in a deep French accent "Miss Annette and Miss Hunter are upstairs in Miss Lotusorder's bed chamber. I assume you can find your way up the stairs" The old woman asked, smiling. Lexi headed up the stairs to a bed room with a display of a picnic baskets, blanket, flowers, and food."Alice! Lexi's here" Annette called out as her head poked out behind the corner of the blue wall. " So we have a LOT of options to pick from, we have to decide, a basket, a blanket, a bouquet of flowers, and a menu. Ready" Annette explained as she pulled out two  beautiful dresses. "What are you wearing?" Annette stared at Lexi's tank top, shorts, and sneakers."It's perfect! screw the stupid dresses we picked out, Alice. Look at how great she dressed! But she will need accessories..."

Lexi groaned, they had planned to put her in a dress? Good grief, did her friends know her at all? She sat down on the floor next to the array of items Annette and Lexi had laid out. Wow were there alot of things to chose from. She saw Annette walking around looking for accesories when she spoke up, "Do you have any silverish colored bracelets? That would go with what I'm wearing right? You know what! I should have brought my sunglasses to put in my hair." She shook her head laughing. So this was really happening, she was going on a date. Oh god...

"The moon or dolphin set?" Annette laid out the pieces of jewelry on the table and smiled,"Oh no, Alice we forgot music! You stay with Lexi while I go down and find music on W.W.N" Annette smiled and pointed a finger, "start making choices! we have 28 minutes to get to the Park!"

"I like these ones," Lexi said reaching for the jewelry with the moons in it. Then she had to pick out which basket to use. There were three, one was a dark brown with a golden handle. The second one was a light green with blue handles. The last one was a white with black handles and black polka dots. She reached for the latter and set it beside her. She looked at the blankers, "may as well stick to a theme," she said reaching for the black and with checkered blanket. She chose the bouquet of dark blue flowers and tucked one into the base of her ponytail. "I think that's all of it, Annette I'm done!" She yelled out the door.

"Okay now did pick an item off the menu? I'm almost done with the music!" Annette yelled upstairs. This was exciting. Maybe I'll be a wedding planner when I get older. Annette thought. she pulled the cd out of the computer and ran upstairs. She walked into the room and smiled. Lexi had picked out the most fun of all the choices in each category and was now talking to Alice about the menu. Annette crossed the room and placed the cd into the player."Okay, number 1" A smooth jazz playlist played then #2 came a list of pop songs came on and  #3 came around with one really long operatic number. "Which one?" Annette said as she put the blanket in the basket and helped Lexi with the bracelet, necklace, and clip on earrings. "We have 20 minutes to get to the park and it's a five minute walk so pick something and let's go!"

Emile had to be ready for his date with his fire-headed maiden.  He looked to August to help him style, considering his wardrobe consisted of jerseys, some polos, khakis, jeans, and many sweatshirts and some more sports stuff.  He ended up looking "dashing" in a short-sleeve scarlet polo and an ironed pair of tan, short khakis.  He even put a little bit of his mom's makeup on, but quickly took it off, because August was not the best stylist, nor was he.  He threw on a cap and some sunglasses, and walked out the door, looking his best as he flexed his large muscles and pretended to be a superstar as he walked to the park to meet L.C, whoever that was.  He imagined a pretty, fire-haired, athletic girl who could also pack a punch.  But he wasn't THAT lucky. 8)

(OOC: sorry for the late jump in! Play practice SUCKS!)

Alice crouched into some bushes by the lake. She needed to see Emile again, even though she wouldn't have the nerve to talk to him. And, of course, she had to check on Lexi and see how her date would go! She giggled quietly, hoping no one could see her.

There, it was all set and they were ready to go. The choices had been made and everything was perfect thanks to Annette and Alice. Where Alice had gone, only god knows. But Annette and Lexi walked down to the park together. They got there in about five minutes and set up the little picnic they had brought. Woah, Lexi thought as she turned around, where'd Annette go?Lexi sat down on the blanket, stretching her legs out placing the white sunglasses on to dim the brightness at least a little bit. She had ten minutes to spare before Emile was supposed to show up, so she lay down, one leg crossed over the other, and tried to soak up some sunlight.
