All in all, Jason wasn’t worried about the procedure. They had calmed down the woman, she wasn’t losing as much blood now, and he had everything he needed in case something happened. And if he didn’t, they had a few Healers around to run and fetch anything they might need. While Moira worked as he had instructed, he focused on the wound, thinking over what he recalled from his time up on spell damage.

She was good at her job; it was evident with the way she tried to calm down the others and tried to meet the needs of others waiting. Jason didn’t doubt she knew what she was doing. So while Moira attended to everything else, Jason focused on the open wound in front of him. Linda was watching her vitals, Moira was giving comfort and administering the medications, and Carol was available for the patch up.

Glancing to the crowd still around the door, he raised an eyebrow. “Everyone else can get back to work, thank you.” Smiling a little, he finally looked down to the leg and nodded to Carol. Finally it came to mind and he let it out a bit too excited and loud for what he needed to. “Golden unicorn hair!” Happy once again, he sighed and leaned on the bed slightly, nodding. “Golden unicorn hair and needle, please, Carol.” Grinning like a school boy who just got a gold star on his parchment, Jason took the needle and threaded the unicorn hair through it.

It had been a while since working on the spell damage floor; they didn’t manage many old wound on his ward, and he hadn’t had to deal with it himself in quite a while. To say he was jumping up and down in his head for remembering the perfect material to use for old spell wounds. Especially as they seemed to have problems staying closed, the way his initial charm to stop the healing was proving. If anything, it only slowed it down some.

“Hmm?”

The soft noise made Jason startle slightly, almost pricking his finger. Glancing at her, his eyes widened briefly and he motioned to her. “Moira! Moira, will you… make sure she stays down-Covi! Covi…” Stepping towards her, he started to tie the knot in the end of the hair. “I need you to relax, dear. I’m going to patch you up, but don’t get up, all right?” Nodding to Carol, watching as she steadied the leg, Jason moved back over and cleaned the area once again. Seeing where he was to go, he reached in and clamped each torn edge, starting to slide the needle in.

A few minutes later and he was finished, tying the knot tightly and handing the needle to Carol. “Thank you, ladies, for your assistance…” Turning away, washing his hands off, he left the clean up for them. He had paperwork to finish. “Let me know when she starts waking up. If she has anymore pain, give her another pain-free potion. Any more pain than that, and come and find me.” Moving over to Tamis, he grinned. “Moira has you in good hands, though if you need to discuss anything that I might be of assistance with… I should be out in the hall for a bit.”
