[July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] on November 08, 2011, 11:31:09 PM It was a few minutes before three in the afternoon, and Fauna straightened in her chair every time the parlor door opened. SAWS members would come through, her shoulders would slump, and she'd fidget with the hem of her yellow dress until the door opened again. She sat at a table in the center, and made half-hearted attempts at small talk, though she felt like she was moving in a haze.Persepolis Zephyr was meeting them today! Time had passed so quickly since Fauna had received Zephyr's owl over a few weeks ago, asking to meet SAWS and hear about their plans and goals. SAWS had held a quick, unofficial meeting in late June, where they'd outlined what to say and how to act, but aside from acting professional and jotting down questions to pepper Zephyr with, it was difficult to truly be prepared for this. At least, that was how Fauna felt. She thought she'd heard Dion reciting introductions one night when he'd fallen asleep on the couch.Persepolis Zephyr had been kind enough to arrange a room at the Leaky Cauldron, a place both familiar and comforting to many of the Hogwarts students. The barkeep had expanded the parlor room on the ground floor, and Fauna could almost imagine that she was back in the Hufflepuff common room, with the old, cushy chairs and the smells of good cooking wafting in. Butterbeers, cottage pies, and mini-burgers sat at each round table, though Fauna merely sipped at her drink and glanced down at the notes she'd prepared. With just a minute left till three, a woman's voice and laughter filtered in through the noise of the pub, sounding familiar to Fauna. It must have been all the wireless programs she'd been listening to lately."Oy!" She exclaimed, waving at everyone. "Shhh! Shh! I think she's here, everyone! I think I hear her!"When the parlor door swung open, she sat up, went still, and let a half-frozen, but hopeful smile inch up her face. "Honestly? A students' club? Isn't our time and money better spent on courting the St. Jameses? Nakamura? The Bagnolds?""Does Analiza Snark know you're planning this?""Don't say anything too controversial - we need the parents' support more than the youth, you know. The waters don't rise for under 17s.""Treat them like they're your equals, Madam Zephyr, they've got more influence than meets the eye.""Stickers. Children love stickers.""No, sex. Teenagers only care about sex. Bring sex into it somehow. We need to make your campaign sexy.""Whatever you do, serve food. Be approachable but make no mistake your status. Think belenvolent ruler, not friendly chum."Luckily, she'd only brought one of them along. She'd be a second set of eyes and ears in the room, and taking notes. She's also be watching the door and making sure whatever left the room, photos, rumors, what was said - was something that would work towards their advantage. Perspolis was no dummy. While she had no fears the afternoon would be anything but pleasent, there was no reason to play it safe. Even an easy win could sneak away from you if you weren't careful. She's clearly contacted the right person - young Fauna Blake had set all the wheels in motion and had responded very professionally. Perhaps Persepolis shouldn't have expected anything less from someone just accepted to the Auror Corps. With Rosier and Raynor at the helm, the Department was ship-shape. Or so everyone was saying.Persepolis Zephyr arrived at the Leaky Cauldren with her assistant at her flank, and she was dressed in golden-yellow robes and hat. In the pub, she fielded many greetings and shook some hands, laughing and smiling all the while. The Leaky was a perfect place - public but with the private parlor. She'd be seen, inquired after and it would be very easy for the curious to figure out who she was meeting with and then have a field day finding out why."In here, Persepolis," her aide nudged her, swinging open the door to the parlor. Persepolis was already smiling as she floated into a room full of bright, young staring faces. Her assistant was good - just a touch on the elbow and a nod at the brunette in the yellow dress and Persepolis Zephyr knew she was greeting Fauna Blake."Miss Blake!" she lilted opening her arms wide so that her robes fluttered grandly. The color was not far off Fauna's own dress."So delighted to finally meet you in person. I'm Persepolis Zephyr." She was more a WAWS, a Werewolf against segregation, but there really was no need for such a club as being in the werewolf club naturally put you into WAWS. Ollie didn’t believe that there was a single werewolf in this world who was particularly happy with their station in life, nor their situation. Ollie disliked being treated different, just because one and sometimes two, days of the month she turned into a nasty beast. Blue moons, boy did she hate those.Ollie had been invited to this little SAWS affair at the Leaky Cauldron, and she really thought she ought to make an appearance. She had these people to thank for their support, as a few of them had joined because of her. Others of course had joined just for the cause, and for whatever reason one might have joined she had to admit she felt the need to thank them and show support. Plus, getting the chance to see the potential new Minister of Magic in the flesh was not an opportunity she felt like passing up. With the full moon a few days behind her Ollie was definitely feeling up for the job of sitting in on this conversation and possible debate.Ollie was sitting at a table, but rather than the others who were chattering to each other, or sipping their drinks, Ollie was devouring the mini burgers in front of her. Someone had to have thought of her in this regard, because they were delicious. She might have already scoffed down two, and was working on her their when Zephyr entered the parlour. She was mid bite as she looked up at the woman dressed in yellow robes, now Ollie felt especially under dressed. Heck, she felt underdressed most of the time, as her clothes were not in the best of shape to begin with. Maybe she should have worn her school uniform (if it fit) since those were the nicest things she owned. Swallowing what remained of the mini burger she refrained from taking another and just sat in silence. She wiped her hand over her mouth to ensure any crumbles or sneaky mustard was gone. Now to sit quietly and patiently, Ollie could do this. All Fauna needed was one of her kooky hats to match. "Hi!" She managed, then paused, two spots of color on her cheeks. "Thank you for coming. I'm really, um, glad to meet you too." Niceties had never been so nerve-wracking! She smiled at the assistant next to Persepolis Zephyr, offered a hand to shake to both of them, and then glanced around the room at the staring, expectant faces. Oh Merlin. Fauna introduced Dion first, since he'd helped so much with the letter and everything else these past few months, and then Ollie, who had just finished another burger with impressive speed, and then the others in the room by name and year, though she glanced questioningly at Dion and privately worried that offering the year/house was overkill. Another pause. More staring faces. Fauna sat and gestured to the chairs at her table. "Er, please take a seat. We're really glad you're here," she said again, smiling. She was in no rush. She learned long ago that a rushed or over-excited person is always trying to catch up. But a controlled, deliberate manner always sets the pace. Her assistant had shaken Fauna Blake and Dion Fayette's hand and nodded pertly, but continued on just at Persepolis's shoulder swiftly jotting away notes, presumably the names of all present."Delighted, delighted, delighted!" Persepolis Zephyr cooed shaking her head. Looking on at the students around the room she found herself impressed at how adult Blake and Fayette looked - but then, they ought to. They were both in Auror training, graduates of Hogwarts now. The new generation. The others around seemed less grown, and there were some very young ones in the group. And that girl there, with the messy brown hair and the hamburger - she seemed more nervous than anyone. Zephyr's glance lingered there for a half moment, but rejuvenated her smile at the offer to sit."You've all made quite the impression on me, and not only with your letters. It's not many young people who'll take time out of summer holiday diversion to meet with an old witch." She placed a hand over her heart and tilted her head."So tell me!" she said after a pause. "The beginning! How'd this all begin?" Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #5 on November 13, 2011, 11:31:27 AM Fauna was heartened by Zephyr's smiley, energetic energy. When she began with a self-deprecating compliment and asked to hear more about them, Fauna found it easier to speak a little more clearly."Well, it all started at the beginning of the school year, when..." Fauna paused and glanced at Ollie. "When the new Headmistress arrived, and decided not to let Ollie attend, because she was a werewolf."She'd told the story more than a few times, but it was always a little nerve-wracking and difficult to predict how someone would react. Especially now, since Fauna desperately wanted Zephyr to understand where they were coming from."Ollie's condition wasn't, um, new. The former Headmaster, Knox Greyfriar, had let her attend and he'd figured out a system to keep everyone safe. It just changed when Headmistress Snark came in."So, Astrid O'Malley had this idea, that we could get a group together and see what we could do to change the public opinion out there, because, well, it wasn't just the Headmistress who was opposed to it, but other people who found out about it too."Standing up for their ideals had only become more challenging since the increase in werewolf attacks and the discovery of direwolves. Several SAWS members, herself included, had experienced doubts. Fauna left that part of the story out for now."We've done things like mixers at the Ministry, helping with the Valentine's Day dance and a benefit concert at Hogwarts, surveying businesses in Hogsmeade, and we brought in guest speakers on how to handle werewolf attacks. We've also done a lot with the Daily Prophet, and that's one of the things we're hoping to keep doing."Fauna looked around at the students gathered and smiled a little, "Did I miss anything?" Pax wasn't always a skittish child by nature, and he'd got used to being around older students in SAWS, but add an adult besides Tulojow into the mix and he could transform from extrovert to introvert in fairly short order. When a group from SAWS had banded together to meet with then-Deputy Head Mr. O Morain, Pax had taken a large research book with him almost like a security blanket. Today, it was a spiral-bound notebook that he clutching anxiously to his stomach. It wasn't just nerves, of course; Pax was very excited. He'd never met a school governor before, let alone a candidate for Minister of Magic! This was also his first time seeing Olivia Foley; he'd always wanting to meet her, having felt a sort of camaraderie with the girl since she was also a Hufflepuff, but all he could do at present was sneak shy glances at her.'I th-think you got everything Fauna,' he piped up hesitantly. He didn't want to go through this meeting without contributing anything, even if he was anxious. 'Um. We, um, we also got some new members over the year.' They'd also lost a few, but Pax felt less inclined to mention that. 'So it's, it's a growing, um, organisation. Because, um, because SAWS is about educating other people, but it's also about educating ourselves. Students can join to find out more about the issues as well as... y'know. Helping inform other people.' That was certainly why Pax had joined. Suddenly worried that he'd spoken out of turn or simply stated the blindingly obvious, though, Pax cast an anxious glance in Fauna's direction. Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #7 on November 22, 2011, 10:42:20 AM A shade of sympathy passed over Persepolis at the mention of the circumstances surrounding the expulsion of Olivia Foley. It had been a controversial decision, but honestly - not so much as the students seemed to think. The adults of the Wizarding World were wholly used to separating werewolves. Greyfriar had been the one making controversial decisions - not Madam Snark. But Persepolis, as traditional as she was, wasn't heartless. And laying eyes on the sweet girl herself gave her some doubt. But again, as all witches and wizards learn - it's not the werewolf's fault. It just is. Her lips were pursed and her brows furrowed as she listened as to how the choice had galvanized the students into action. And she listened even more patiently as one of the youngest looking students in the room stammered about membership, Merlin enchant him he was so earnest. "I see, I see," she said when it seemed like they'd introduced the club sufficiently. Still perched on the edge of her seat, she opened her hands again. "I'm impressed. To see students like yourself taking an interest in the social and political issues that go on around you. I'm sure you've discovered it's quite uncommon and not at all easy. Especially with such an old and controversial topic such as those cursed as werewolves. Tell me:"Her aid had briefly leaned in with a roll of parchment and unfurled it to show her something on it. Persepolis had nodded and now was ready to ask the question."What would you ask of me? As your School Governor, or as a candidate for Minister of Magic. How would I be of service to ambitious young people like yourselves?" Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #8 on November 22, 2011, 11:48:12 AM Sophie, for perhaps the first time in her life, sat quietly amid the chatter of her fellow Hogwartians. Her summer uniform of shorts and tank tops forgone in favor of a smart day dress (which felt almost suffocating), she wanted to make an impression but she wasn't completely sure what sort. Well, obviously an educated and good impression but she still wasn't completely sure of her stance on the direction of SAWS. She loved Ollie to bits, this last year of not having her around, through the good and the bad of it all, had made everything feel a little more lonely than it might have otherwise. Yet the idealistic Sophie that simply wanted her friend back had been greatly changed since September of the previous year. There were realities that were hard to ignore about not only the current political landscape but...how unprepared for disaster the Ministry had proved itself in March. Clearing her throat she looked from Dion, to Fauna, to Pax before folding her hands atop the table and setting her gaze to the Minister-hopeful. Adults in a position of power didn't tend to intimidate Sophie because she didn't often do things that were controversial...except that time she'd called Storm a bully (and that was possibly more stupid than controversial). Clearing her throat again she offered the elder witch a small smile as she carefully chose her words, "Hello, um Sophie Flickwick," she paused and gestured to herself as a sort of reminder of her name (though they weren't a particularly large group) before continuing, "In part I think we wanted to meet with you because you wanted to meet with us. We've had to do a fair amount of door banging this last year - both to be taken seriously and also to find some semblance of answers," she paused, twisting the ring on her middle finger before mentally reminding herself not to fidget, "I, for one, would like to hear your stance on the matter in general".It was proving almost impossible for her not to fidget as the heel of her polished shoe bounced nervously, and though she had only really meant to ask the one broadly worded question she found herself going into detail (which was perhaps a mistake, but she was genuinely curious), "We realize, better than perhaps any current administration - school or otherwise, knows that we're working against generations of fear that has only been heightened since March," the last bit was hard to say for her, harder than she expected - and yet she couldn't shut herself up now even though she sort of desperately wanted to. "If you're elected what steps, if any, do you plan on taking to address long-standing-though-ethically-questionable treatment werewolves by the WCU? Are you in favor of conversion from the ancient and now proven flawed holding cells, or perhaps tighter regulation on the ingredients, testing, and distribution of Ministry issued Wolfsbane"?Biting her bottom lip she mentally tried to shut off her vocal cords but found it impossible not to add, "I ask not only as a member of this group but," she paused to swallow but not breaking eye contact with the brightly robed witch, "as someone who experienced first hand the devastating failure of current measures in place," and then, like a kettle that had run out of steam, Sophie finally shut up before casting a glance to Fauna. Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #9 on November 23, 2011, 07:10:48 AM Ollie sat in silences as she watched everyone talk around her, it was interesting to see more of SAWS and what they were about. Her eyes had darted over to the younger boy, so well spoken for someone his age. It felt oddly funny to have someone she had never met before rallying to her cause, or well the cause of all werewolves. She didn't know what to say as everyone spoke, it was sort of a painful reminder as to just how different she was. Yes, of course it was great to see people standing up for werewolf rights but she had gone so many years without anyone knowing that now she really felt different. Her mother's book was set to hit bookstore shelves within a few months about raising a werewolf child, so many more people would be aware of her story.Eyeing the hamburgers again she went for another and started munching. It was a good thing she had started because the story Sophie had to tell was one that brought remorse and hatred alive in herself. She had never felt such hatred for what she was than when she had attacked Sasha. She munched on the hamburger far slower than she would have normally. Ollie often replayed what had happened that night over and over in her head. How she had been running late. How she shouldn't have stopped to talk with Sasha. How she thought the conversation would be brief and she could head on her way. Ollie had never felt so ashamed to be what she was.Swallowing the last of her hamburger she finally found her voice. "The events that took place in March were devastating," she paused, "And I feel responsible for my actions, even though the attack wouldn't have happened if the Wolfsbane had worked. I still strayed from my routine, the same routine I have had since I was four. I was behind schedule and stopped to talk to Sasha trying to be the normal girl I am not. I know it was my fault, my stupid fault." She wasn't looking anywhere but at her hands. "But I do honestly believe if I had been a student at the school, then this whole incident would never have happened for me. I would have had to keep to my usual routine of leaving the school on time, returning to Ministry for my Wolfsbane and returning home to be locked in my own saferoom. I was never on the school grounds, only once under the watchful eye of our headmaster." Ollie finally looked up. "Up until March with the wolfsbane failure most of us have been safe. Yet it is only news worthy horrific moments like the ones that took place in March that would define us. I am now a monster in Sasha's eyes, and with all rights as I did attack him. But in ten years he has been the only person I have ever attacked, thanks to the failure of a potion that was supposed to give me peace of mind.""Sorry," she said in regards to her just babbling out what she was feeling. She had wanted to say this to so many people, and it appeared today would be the day. She wondered how many of these SAWS followers would think twice about supporting her knowing what she had done. She glanced over at Fauna as if wanting to say sorry for just sort of babbling in the middle of this gather that she the intentions of just being quiet in. Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #10 on November 24, 2011, 10:23:28 AM The students kept sending her nervous glances. Fauna bit her lip, feeling slightly guilty. Her insistence on organization this meeting might have caused it, or her own anxious habits, or perhaps it was just the mere presence of someone as important as Persepolis Zephyr. Whatever it was, her friends were doing well. "Don't apologize," she reassured Ollie gently, then glanced at Sophie and Pax, hoping to pass on the message."Right, um, Sophie's questions are a good place to start, if that sounds... good to you?" Fauna told Persepolis Zephyr. "And anything you have to say about Ollie's experience," she added, hoping (funny enough like Pax) that she wasn't stating the obvious as well. Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #11 on November 27, 2011, 03:41:13 PM As quiet as the meeting had gone so far, the outspoken self-identified Sophie Flickwick made her feelings very clear and for a moment, a dark shadow crept onto Perspolis's usually very controlled features. Flickwick. Ramona Flickwick. This was likely one of her daughters - the witch who was killed during the March attacks. The shadow went away soon enough, as she paid close attention to the teenager's questions, but sympathy and what she hoped was sincerity remained on her face. She wasn't quick to jump in with a response after Miss Flickwick finished - she never was that kind of person - so then another young witch spoke up. It was Olivia Foley. Again, Persepolis was apparently caught a little unprepared. She suspected the subject about the expelled werewolf would come up, but not that it would be from her in person, and with such earnest, personal passion. By the time Olivia was finished speaking, and Fauna Blake again took up the meeting's agenda, Persepolis Zephyr took a short moment to lower her head to some notes her aide had handed her. And with head bowed, she blinked away a bit of tear forming in her eye. She wasn't sure what she felt. As a school governor there was a distance you had to acknowledge. A distance between policy and reality, between governors and professors and students. She knew the distance as Minister of Magic would be even more pronounced. So decisions come to through logic, and cool-headed, thoughtful debate lacked the reality of their consequences. It wasn't that the consequences were dismissed, it was the fact that as governor, she didn't live it. She adjudicated responsibly, but she didn't live it. The students here were living it and telling their side of it. She owed them that opportunity, owed them the time to talk, and owed them a genuine, honest response. Her voice was slightly less chipper when she spoke."Thank you, Miss Black. Miss Foley. Miss Flickwick. Your candidness is refreshing and humbling. I'll do you the justice of responding to you like adults, yes?"It wasn't a threat."I have the greatest respect for both Madam Covadonga Gertrudis and Mr Manley. As you probably know, Madam Gertrudis was able to make some important changes through Minister Annwyl - the least of my goals is to be that channel for change should I replace him. To support with all fervor initiatives that seek to right any wrongs that are built into our Ministry, including the treatment of those cursed as werewolves. and especially wrongs against basic dignity. I am concerned with the causes of the March attacks. If I am granted the power to do so by the Wizengamot, I will pursue it."She paused, hoping for the moment her response was sufficient. There were details and avenues that were simply closed to her for now. She couldn't very well speak on what went wrong when, as a civilian, she had nothing but the most pedestrian access to the investigation. And it was all well and good so say things, but another to follow through once in a new system."And to Miss Foley," she turned to speak to her. "I can't imagine the ordeal you've been through. The decision to remove you from Hogwarts was in the hands of Headmistress Snark" - she paused to look upward and made a small warding gesture. The poor witch was missing afterall - "who operated under the full support of the Governors and myself personally. But even the wisest among us should take a second look."She smiled gently, hoping not to put too much hope in the girl. Persepolis had also supported Greyfriar and his firm and bellowing attempts to keep her at Hogwarts despite opposition. But the winds of Hogwarts change in the turning of its Heads and the Governors had to respect that. Autonomy was important..."That's all I can promise. A second look."She wished she could say more. She wished she could say that an interim Headmaster had been chosen, and that Persepolis knew him very well, and that he was more Snark than Greyfriar on the topic of werewolves. Persepolis also couldn't help but see the other consequences of advocating for Olivia's return. There was even talk of an incoming first year who was already a werewolf - what a tragedy... Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #12 on November 28, 2011, 09:02:34 PM Fauna listened carefully to Persepolis Zephyr, hope buoyed by one word, disappointed by the next, and back again. Between Fauna's fretting these past few weeks, she'd daydreamed that Persepolis Zephyr would take SAWS' purpose to heart, declare herself an ally, and vow to change things the minute she was elected. She'd known the reality of it would be different, but she had hoped for the woman's understanding, and they seemed to have that. She seemed interested in their cause, offering to persue the March attacks, and even offering to take a second look at Ollie's expulsion. Fauna sent Ollie an excited glance, then quickly tried to shift her expression into something more mature and calm. On the other hand, Persepolis Zephyr's phrasing was much more vague and careful than Fauna was used to. She wanted to believe in her. She wanted to see her as a beacon of hope clad in vibrant Hufflepuffian yellow. And because she wanted it so much, she reminded herself that pursuing a matter could mean any number of things, looking into Ollie's case could mean any number of things, and she couldn't fully trust her until she saw action. "Thank you," Fauna said sincerely, shoving back any doubt. "A second look..." she glanced at Ollie, smiled. "That would just be fantastic. It's our best hope since... since last August. And it means a lot to know that, well, no matter what comes of it, that you understand where we are coming from and you're willing to look into Ollie maybe returning to Hogwarts." A few comments and questions buzzed about her head concerning the Ministry procedures Sophie had asked about, but she decided to wait to ask those. "How do you feel about werewolves in general attending Hogwarts?" Fauna paused. "Ollie was a bit of a special case because she was already there, allowed by one Headmaster, and then she got expelled because someone new came in." She shifted nervously in her seat, not wanting to push her luck, but curious. "Do you think that incoming Hogwarts students who are already werewolves should get to attend? Or if a student becomes a werewolf, should they get to keep attending?" Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #13 on November 30, 2011, 10:32:43 PM Persepolis tried to smile sincerely as Miss Blake thanked her. For as large as their requests were - to harness the Ministry's power against werewolves, to allow Olivia Foley back to school - Persepolis felt like her conditional promises were too meager to be of any real assurance to these hopeful youths. But she had to see them as grown witches and wizards. A few of them were of age, and the others would soon follow, and this topic was no child's play. She'd not be accused of being soft with them. She knew better than to underestimate Hogwarts students. But still. This all seemed a little sad somehow. Too idealistic, perhaps. Or was it just too risky? As much as these here gathered would love for more lenient handling of werewolves the rest of the Wizarding World was far more divided."Me, personally?" Zephyr asked. Although knew better. Her personal feelings were only a part of what was important here. It would be her public opinions that the students were concerned over - her decisions as their Governor, or possibly (hopefully) their Minister of Magic. She allowed herself a sigh, keeping her resolution and patience. "I feel the decision should lie where it is now - in the hands of Hogwarts chief caretaker. The Headmistress or Headmaster. I believe the witch or wizard in that post should not make the decision lightly. And I'm confident that both Elder Greyfriar and Madam Snark considered the situation carefully. You must understand what a complicated issue it is, what factors have to be balanced. The safety of the students against the personal struggle of one."Her eyes darted to Olivia, and then away. It was heartstring pulling having that 'one' student there. But perhaps that's what was needed in cases like this."I wish I could tell you more, but specific scenarios? I'm afraid I'd do you a disservice to speculate. I would love for things to be better for Olivia and for anyone else so unfortunate to be in a situation like the ones you describe. But werewolves are dangerous. However, I can say this: safety permitting, all Wizarding students of Britain and Ireland should enjoy the fine education Hogwarts provides." Skip to next post Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #14 on December 04, 2011, 09:37:37 AM Fauna glanced at Dion and Sophie, wondering if they were hearing the same things and understanding the same things she was. She'd love to wave her wand and cast a 'still time' spell so she could obsess over every word coming out of Persepolis Zephyr's mouth, but unfortunately, she'd have to wait till after the meeting. It was clear that Persepolis Zephyr felt that the Headmaster or Headmistress of Hogwarts should have the most clout regarding the admittance of werewolves, and Fauna understood her, even if she disagreed. That method might have worked when each Headmaster led the school for longer than a few years, but with so many recent changes in staffing, Fauna questioned whether putting all of their hope on one person's shoulders was wise. Or if consistent rules might work better. If worst came to worst and those rules erred on the side of caution and disallowed werewolves from attending, at least they'd know what they had to work with and could figure out alternative options, rather than letting werewolves attend school one year and expelling them the next. But Fauna didn't voice those thoughts. She mulled over the phrase 'safety permitting', curious which measures Persepolis Zephyr (and others in charge) considered safe enough to give werewolves a chance at a Hogwarts education. Looking slightly confused, Fauna nodded, then hesitated, uncertain if she should delve into specifics again. This type of question-answer process was very new to her.[1] 1. Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #1 on November 09, 2011, 08:54:14 PM Persepolis Zephyr had seven people working for her in some capacity for her bid for Minsiter of Magic and all seven of them had different counsel on this S.A.W.S. meet and greet. I'm Persepolis Zephyr." Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #2 on November 10, 2011, 05:06:18 AM So really, Ollie wasn’t exactly a student against werewolf segregation. She was more a WAWS, a Werewolf against segregation, but there really was no need for such a club as being in the werewolf club naturally put you into WAWS. Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #3 on November 10, 2011, 08:15:39 PM Fauna stood up from her chair and grinned nervously, catching the amusing similarities between their bright yellow attire. Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #4 on November 11, 2011, 01:37:22 AM Hands clasped over her stomach, and smiling around at everyone, Persepolis took measured time to look each of the dozen students in the face. How'd this all begin?" Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #5 on November 13, 2011, 11:31:27 AM Fauna was heartened by Zephyr's smiley, energetic energy. We've also done a lot with the Daily Prophet, and that's one of the things we're hoping to keep doing."Fauna looked around at the students gathered and smiled a little, "Did I miss anything?" Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #6 on November 22, 2011, 05:11:55 AM Pax tried to smile encouragingly at Fauna, but it came out rather nervous. Pax wasn't always a skittish child by nature, and he'd got used to being around older students in SAWS, but add an adult besides Tulojow into the mix and he could transform from extrovert to introvert in fairly short order. Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #7 on November 22, 2011, 10:42:20 AM A shade of sympathy passed over Persepolis at the mention of the circumstances surrounding the expulsion of Olivia Foley. How would I be of service to ambitious young people like yourselves?" Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #8 on November 22, 2011, 11:48:12 AM Sophie, for perhaps the first time in her life, sat quietly amid the chatter of her fellow Hogwartians. Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #9 on November 23, 2011, 07:10:48 AM Ollie sat in silences as she watched everyone talk around her, it was interesting to see more of SAWS and what they were about. Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #10 on November 24, 2011, 10:23:28 AM The students kept sending her nervous glances. Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #11 on November 27, 2011, 03:41:13 PM As quiet as the meeting had gone so far, the outspoken self-identified Sophie Flickwick made her feelings very clear and for a moment, a dark shadow crept onto Perspolis's usually very controlled features. Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #12 on November 28, 2011, 09:02:34 PM Fauna listened carefully to Persepolis Zephyr, hope buoyed by one word, disappointed by the next, and back again. Or if a student becomes a werewolf, should they get to keep attending?" Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #13 on November 30, 2011, 10:32:43 PM Persepolis tried to smile sincerely as Miss Blake thanked her. However, I can say this: safety permitting, all Wizarding students of Britain and Ireland should enjoy the fine education Hogwarts provides." Skip to next post
Re: [July 11] What counsel has the hooded moon [SAWS] Reply #14 on December 04, 2011, 09:37:37 AM Fauna glanced at Dion and Sophie, wondering if they were hearing the same things and understanding the same things she was.
