Physical Appearance
Annette is about 5 6" and a thin, frail dirty blonde head. Thin and strong limbs sprout off of her tree-like body, making Annette appear very fit and elegant. Her Chin reminds her of a famous muggle singer, Elvis Presley. With 8 birthmarks on her left arm and 4 on the right, her right nostril larger than the left from when she broke her nose the first time. Her blinding white teeth and high set eyes make her very apart from the other girls at muggle schools. Her favorite part about her physical appearance is her long, curly, unmanageable mousy brown hair that forms a round frame around her heart shaped face and her hot air balloon birthmark on her inner left knee, as well as her sea storm blue eyes.

Personality
Annette may seem as if she were a ballerina and would love to dance but in fact: she hates dancing. She loves crafting things with her hands. Pottery, beadwork, knitting, sewing, drawing, painting, you name it, Annette has mastered it. She also is graced with the gift of knowledge and has enough curiosity to make  her teacher’s head spin. Her love of books is enough to make librarians cry and she in fact:  has done so.

 Often found in the library, reading the latest fantasy novel,or newly discovered science theory, Annette was always an outcast, never up to date with current muggle events. She is always very polite and considered a "nerd" for her non- child-like ways. Annette's feelings are easily hurt and her bubble is often burst and has been known to break into aggressive debates about things she feels strongly, especially her wizard blood. A wizard boy in Diagon Alley had insulted her family’s blood and "Mudblood" was tossed around and blood was drawn by Annette's hand.  Annette may seem innocent but a violent lion arises from within and can lash out when her feelings are hurt, but strong willed Annette will always stand up for anyone else whose feelings are being threatened.

She can be a love bug too. Goofing around, putting pretzels in her mouth to look like teeth, rolling around on the floor or telling a quirky star wars joke, Annette is a fun person to be around.

History
Octavian Lotusorder, a wizard working for the Ministry of Magic, met Brenda Strange, a muggle at a P.T Barnum and Ringling Brothers Circus while studying muggle behaviors. Brenda and Octavian fell in love faster than the Golden Snitches wings beat. Brenda discovered Octavian’s wizard talents when he conjured up a ring of cold fire and asked her to marry him. After 3 years of marriage Brenda gave birth to James K. Lotusorder, Annette's older brother.

While living in Wales to escape the horrors of Voldemort and his followers, Mrs. Lotusorder gave birth to her second child, Annette M. Lotusorder.  When Annette was 2 the Lotusorders moved to Oulton Broad, Suffolk, England where Octavian had a house inherited from his father and they have been living ever since.

Annette was always very jealous of her brother, a tall blonde boy who got top marks in his years at Hogwarts and was Head Boy in is 5th year, constantly ignored his little sister. She never felt a very strong sibling bond with him.

Annette’s brother did some times show signs affection, like when she was 8 and broke her arm, James carried her home. When James left home to pursue his career as an astronomer.  So she turned to books and creating to use her time. It took years for her to make friends, but friendships never lasted long for Annette, most muggle children found her strange and nerdy.

Why was your character chosen for this house?
Annette has no set goal for her wizarding life. Too many scarring experiences have made her a well rounded student, but none of it enough to get her in the other 3 houses. She must first discover herself then, only then will she find where she belongs.

"Coming Eliza!", Annette could hardly contain her excitement, she hadn't been this happy about post since Christmas, when all of her father's wizard friend's Christmas pictures moved across the card, or even sang. Annette ran down the stairs tripping over the last step, where the green carpeting was torn up." Is it Hogwarts?" She asked the nanny hopefully.

"Sign me the Sign Language alphabet first." Annette grunted, but signed the 26 characters with her right hand. "Okay, here you go" Annette squealed, "Yes! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!” She jumped up and down hugging the elderly woman tightly. "Mum! Dad! I got my Hogwarts letter!" Annette shouted as she skipped to the kitchen. “Oh! That's wonderful dear," Mr. Lotusorder replied. "What do you need to get? We'll need to head to London soon to get your things from Diagon Alley", said Mrs. Lotusorder.

“How about we all head out today, just the three of us?" "Oh, Really Dad?" Annette said, she couldn't remember the last time it had just been Mum, Dad, and herself. " Yes, and my little angel can get whatever animal she wants for school" Octavian Lotusorder replied looking at the papers inside the shredded envelope while pinching her cheek. "Even an owl?" "Yes, pumpkin, even an owl" her mother promised. "One day. Just this one day just Me, Mum, and Dad in Diagon Alley" This is going to be the best day ever." Annette conspired in her head, ready to have lots of fun.

Annette is a strong willed, tall willow-like girl who craves attention from her parents after years of being pushed aside and doing as others ask to get praise. Annette is extremely creative. A lion from within, fighting its way out, and a sensitive lamb, hiding inside when it comes to her feelings. She will cry, and make people feel horrible for treating her badly.

With loss?:  What!? Oh gee, let’s hope that Annette never ever lose someone close to her heart, be it her owl or person the scenario would go something like this: She cries. She screams.
