(July 3rdish) Lexi's House [ALICE]

on November 04, 2011, 08:11:08 PM

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME," Lexi started yelling as she tore through all of the shirts in her laundry. Alice continued to roll on the floor and laugh hysterically. "It's so not funny!" Lexi said, the hysteria creeping into her voice. She continues through all of her shirts until she found a plain black and red striped shirt. "Now then," she said pulling the shirt over her head. "Let's go."

Alice finally gained control of her emotions, and stood up. "I'm sorry. I have now gained control. Its- It's just been the best day ever! I got to put make up on my brother, got ice cream, and saw you get outright humiliated!" She smiled. "Best. Day. Ever."

"For you maybe, but for me..." Lexi shrugged her shoulders as she pointed at the pile of pink laundry. They both jumped when they heard the door slam open. Here they came, the dynamic duo, the troublesome two, or better know as Joshua and Lucas. They're Lexi's annoying, devious, crazy little twin brothers.

"I found it first," they heard Lucas yell. "Nuh uh!" Josh screamed back, "It's my worm!" They came around the corner and Lucas ran into Alexandra's room, slamming her door in Josh's face. "Oh, you're here. Oops. Bye!" He said, re-opening the door, dropping the worm onto her floor. Joshua picked it up and said, "HA I got it!" He ran out saying, "I got the wo-orm, I got the wo-orm."

"Well, aren't they a handful! But I love them!" Alice said, racing out of lexi's room and followed the two boys.

"I'm going  to get the worm, unless someone would like a visit from the tickle bug!"She shouted with a smile on her face.

"Oh no," Lexi started shaking her head. She pulled the hot pink t-shirt over her head and chased after them.
"Alice don't! It's fine!" She yelled, hoping Alice would stop chasing her brothers. She caught up to them in the boy's room where Alice had succesfully gotten the worm.

Lexi couldn't help but laugh out loud as she assesed the situation in front of her. Alice was sitting on Josh as she fought Lucas for the worm. "No," Lucas was screaming, "Mr. Wormers is mine! MINE! Don't take him please! Stop Alice! Stop tickling me!"

"Ha Ha!" Alice said, before looking up and seeing Lexi standing there. She quickly got off of Josh and stood up.
"Sorry," She said feeling guilty. "It's just so boring at my house. Little kids running with worms is exciting!"  Alice explained. Her cheeks reddened. She went to stand next to Lexi and look at the boys. "Good game though boys."

Lexi just rolled her eyes, walking out of the room and hoping Alice was following. "So," Lexi started "are you excited for our camping trip?" Lexi jumped up and down clapping her hands together.

Alice and Lexi had planned a camping trip out in the woods, just some girl time. If Alice had been in charge, they wouldn't be camping, but it was Lexi's turn to pick where they went.

Alice gave a fake smile. "...Yeah. It's going to be great." Alice hated camping almost as much as she hated it when someone dog eared a page in her books.  "With the, the, the b-b-bugs!" She shut her eyes and shuttered. Many few actually knew, Alice had a terrible  fear of bugs. If it was up to her, they would go to a small lodge in a snowy mountain range.

And she would write, and she would read. And she would have the best time. But sometimes, she knew she had to give up something to have bond and have "fun" with Lexi. Who knows? Maybe she'll enjoy it.

"Chill out," Lexi said, "We're already packed up and ready to go. All we have to do is hike out there. And then we fall asleep, read something, eat breakfast, talk to the birds, and leave. OK?"

Lexi smirked for a second, a devious look crossed her face, "And it's a full moon Alice, but you're not scared of the big, bad wolf are you?"

Suddenly, the clock on the wall chimed four times. "Alice, it's four o'clock!" She shouted jumping up and down. She raced up to her room and grabbed her stuff. Speeding back downstairs, she dumped all of her stuff by the door. She grabbed Alice's wrist and ran out the front door. Her fiery orange hair flew behind her like streamers as she sprinted down the sidewalk, her grip on Alice's wrist tight and probably painful.

"Let's go get your bags too," Lexi said, running along the sidewalk towing Alice behing her. "Mum said she would bring us to the camp site at half past four. That's in thirty minutes! I'm so excited!"

"Oh, yes. Camping. What a joy." She let herself be dragged down Lexi's stairs and across the street to her house.

"You-You don't actually think that there will be werewolves? Right?" She asked worriedly. She was such a fearful child. "RIGHT?" She demanded. That was one of the very few things she hated about Lexi. She could get her scared about anything, and scare her into a different decision.

"Yeah sure," Lexi said, too preoccupied with going up into Alice's room. She opened the door and immediatly turned around and put her hands on her hips. "Alice Hunter, where are your bags?" Lexi said in a reprimanding tone. "I told you loads of times to pack your stuff for this trip!"

Lexi threw her hands up in the air and sighed heavily, grabbing the duffle bag that lay on the floor. She immediatly set about, packing Alice's stuff for her. Clothes, pajamas, jacket, hat, hairbrush; Lexi mentally went through her checklist, making sure everything was in there.

Alice just stood there as her cousin packed. She was about to interject when Lexi grabbed a her reading flashlight. Then, she realized, that if she packed, she would be so unprepared, and so, walked up to Lexi and asked, "do you think 5 books will do it? I don't want to skimp!"
