Exam Results...

All returning Hogwarts students will receive their end of year examination results at this time, enclosed with their school correspondence.

OWLs template, if you wish.  Likewise, a NEWTs template.

You can determine your exam results either by guesstimation and artistic fluency, and by the collaboration done with professors as we wrote the exams.  If perhaps, you didn't get a grade back from a professor, you could try bringing up the topic again, or filling in the blanks yourself.

Note About Prefects...

Returning students will find a small note, as if 'twere a last-minute addendum to the mailing...

Dear Student,
Please be notified that Prefects and the Head Boy and Girl have yet to be announced due to an unforseen confusion.  Therefore, reserve your dismay at not receiving your badge until you do not receive it at the Start of Term Feast.

A Letter From the Hogwarts School Governors...

All students coming to Hogwarts would find a very large separate envelope included with their other materials that indicates that it should be shared with parents and family...

Dear Hogwarts student and beloved family,

On behalf of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry we are happily looking forward to another illustrious year, but this year will be like none yet!  This year we will host the TetraWizard Tournament!

The TetraWizard Tournament will be a year-long competition between four Wizariding schools, featuring a series of challenges to test students' magical ability, mental ingenuity, physical prowess, fortitude of spirit and teamwork.   Each school will be represented by a series of champions, chosen by the Goblet of Fire before each challenge.  There could be one per school or many depending on the challenge.  To the victors go the points!

Students wishing to represent their school as a champion must submit their name to the Goblet of Fire, and upon being chosen will submit to a weighing of the wands.  (Must be 16 to compete.)

As for academics, all students will attend a diverse new curriculum together, instruction provided by all professors, both Hogwarts and visiting.  (Fear not - requirements for home-school testing and graduation will be duly considered.)

Visiting students and staff have been invited to live in Hogwarts castle during their long stay, and renovations are underway to accommodate the guests.

The Daily Prophet will cover the event so that all the world can follow the journey together.

Wizarding Britain will welcome the visitors when they arrive on August 1.  Speeches, refreshments, orientation activities, music, fun and games are promised!  Please do join us!

Signed,

The Twelve Signatures of the Board of School Governors

Supplies List...

Hogwarts Professors may respond with their supplies list.  One or two books, for example, and any implements students should bring.  At the time of the mailing, there would not have been time to collect any such requirements from visiting professors - we'll make due when the time comes.
