Physical Description: Vexillarius considers himself rather impressive to look at, standing at 6'1" and well muscled. His dark brown hair is almost always well styled and is well matched with his stunning blue eyes.

Similar to the majority of his family, Vex usually dresses to impress. However to him this means wearing expensive and very fashionable clothing, not just your average collared shirt and tie.

Interestingly enough, although he is from Arizona, he has a Southern accent.

Personality Description: What can one say about dear Vex. Certainly he is arrogant, for it is well known that he is a capable duelist. Similarly, he is a very skilled Quadpot player. This along with the fact that Vex see's himself as beautiful lead to vanity almost incomparable to anyone. On occasion he has even gone so far as to comment, rather rudely, about how poorly someone else looks or dresses.

Naturally, he is highly competitive, and highly ambitious. He wants nothing more than to become a well known Auror, and to go down in history as one of the greatest Wizards of all time.

He also has an extremely loud mouth, matched with a silver tongue.  Vex has been known to be capable of easily instigating fights, as well as charming someone with ease. Not to mention he has an extremely sarcastic streak. Generally speaking this causes frequent confrontations between he and his friends, occasionally even leading to fights.

Vex is also fairly intelligent, not the brightest star in the sky, but capable of figuring out some difficult tasks. However, the fact that he is fairly impatient leads to frustration, and he has often abandoned and restarted various tasks simply because of this.

There is a silver lining to all this, of course. Vex has been known to stand up for the little guy. He is also a fiercely loyal friend, always standing by them during hard times. And though one wouldn't suspect it on outside appearance, he is also a very caring boyfriend; at least when the two aren't arguing over something trivial.

History: Vexillarius was born as the third and youngest child of William and Sylvia Anderson in the middle of a warm May day. Even from his earliest childhood, Vex competed with his older siblings, often grappling with Ariel or Lucius, and teasing them relentlessly when he won.

When he was six, Vex made his first trip to England, where a very large family reunion was to take place. It was there he met his younger cousin Vulpes. The two have held a rather fierce rivalry ever since. This was mostly Vex's fault, as he made a contest out of everything the two did.

Unlike both his older siblings Vex was accepted to Salem Witches Institute ate the age of eleven. In actuality this came to a surprise to his parents, for they had originally planned to send him to Red Rocks as well. However both his mother and father considered that given the way Vex interacted with Lucius, it would be better to separate the two.

Although his parents never favored any of their children more of the others, a wedge began to form between Vex and Lucius, as Vex constantly rubbed it in that he was to go to Salem, while Lucius attended Red Rocks (as Vex perceived Red Rocks inferior to Salem). Eventually this wedge formed between Lucius and the entire family, and by Vex's fourth year Lucius had gone to live with a friend of his own from Red Rocks.

Upon the first day at Salem, Vex met another girl in his year named Louise. Although he became fast friends with the girl, he did secretly think that she wouldn't be as good a wizard as the rest, being a Muggleborn.

Vex was quickly proven wrong, and his world view adjusted as such. During the summer between their Sophomore year and Junior year the two began dating.

Throughout his schooling career, Vex has yet to take any class he finds particularly difficult, the subjects for the most part coming naturally to him. The only thing that would ever stand in his way from graduating is the fact that he's been known to get into at least one hallway duel per year.

However, luckily for him he was able to talk his way out of any trouble, pairing with the fact that almost every fight was in defense of someone being bullied.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Vex was selected to accompany Salem to the TWT due to his apt magical abilities and high marks. He is generally considered to be one of the top of his class, and even though his record shows multiple fights, 90% of the time was in defense of someone else.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: If you looked up Brash, Impulsive and Vain in a dictionary, there would probably be a picture of Vexillarius, for these are all things that he exhibits; along with his usual show-off nature when it comes to spells and grades. However, underneath it all he is in fact a rather kind and caring person who is incredibly loyal and protective of his friends, or those in need.
