Wand: Teodosio's wand is 13 inches long and made of Padauk wood (good for curses and dark magic). It has a phoenix father core (making it apt for all spells, especially defensive ones). The wood is rigid, indicating that Teodosio is headstrong and unyielding. The shaft is intricately decorated with meticulously carved swirls and has multiple jewels inlaid.

Physical Description: Standing at 5'7" and on the thinner side of average, Teodosio is no spectacular physical specimen. He is thin, with very little muscle definition due to his indifference to sports. He eats healthy foods to maintain a healthy weight, but does not go out of his way to work out or build up any muscle mass. He has pale skin from spending little time outside. Teodosio has very dark hair and dark brown eyes. His hair is always very carefully styled- he cannot stand for it to look messy. He wears glasses when studying or playing instruments. Teodosio carries himself with pride and looks his best- even when out of uniform he wears expensive clothing.

Personality Description: The Medici name is no stranger to greatness, and Teodosio fully intends to live up to the reputation which precedes him by name alone. He is very focused and hard working, fully comprehending the fact school should be his first priority and all else secondary. He devotes time to study and practice- both academics and arts. He plays the violin and piano well, though lacks the ability to draw or paint with any true talent. Teodosio is a skilled duelist, and very capable with his wand.

Teodosio is very protective of his sisters- one in her last year at Beauxbatons and the other entering her fourth. He spends time with them on a regular basis, hoping to encourage them in their studies and artistic pursuits, and also hoping to chase anyway any would-be romances. In Teodosio's opinion school is not the place for romance- it is a place for learning, and he doesn't want to see his sisters distracted by a pretty face. He holds himself to the same standards, refusing to give in to any attractions he feels toward the ladies at his school.

Aware of his own competence and skill, Teodosio has a habit of being very condescending toward those he considers beneath himself- both in station and skill- and often looks down on others that he deems unworthy of his friendship or companionship. He is never outwardly cruel to these people, understanding that it is equally important to avoid making enemies as it is to make useful friendships-but when forced to interact with those he is not fond of can be quiet, indifferent, or short tempered.

Teodosio is very respectful of the fairer sex, judging them much less harshly than others of his own gender. He believes that all women deserve to be treated with kindness and gentility, and even if he disagrees with their choices often keeps his opinions to himself to prevent from offending or hurting their (in his opinion) more sensitive feelings. In fact, Teodosio's kindness to women has earned him more female friends than male friends.

History: Teodosio was born into the lap of luxury. His father- Cristiano Medici- was one of the most wealthy wizards in the pureblood society of Italy. His mother, Ambra Mattioni, was the daughter of one of the most powerful men in the criminal underworld of Wizarding society in the country. Their marriage was based on love instead of politics, though the advantages of the union were many.

Teodosio is the second born of three children. He has an older sister named Rosabella and a younger sister named Violetta. The children are very close in age. It kept Ambra busy, raising three babies all at once, but she was a very good mother and Cristiano an excellent and attentive father.

At an early age Teodosio was introduced to the fine arts and to education. Their parents wanted their children to attend Beauxbatons- which had a sterling reputation- and prepared them for it early. Teodosio was given music and art lessons as a child, flourishing on the piano and violin and having only mediocre skill with drawing and painting. He learned quickly in subjects which interested him- literature and history- but his success in others was dependent upon his mother and father ensuring he studied.

From the beginning his parents taught Teodosio that he had to be the best- at everything. Second place was simply unacceptable, and if he did not work and study hard then he would not be worthy of his name or station in life. Cristiano and Ambra were both careful to teach their son that just because you had money and connections it was not an excuse to slack off or be lazy. Hard work was what got them to where they were today, and only hard work would keep them there.

At the age of 11 Teodosio sat his exam to gain entrance to Beauxbatons. Unlike his family, he was not nervous for the outcome- he had the utmost confidence in his abilities to pass, and was not surprised to be accepted to the institution.

Teodosio settled into life at Beauxbatons with relative ease. He had trouble initially with his wand work- the wood for his wand not meant for beginning witches and wizards- but after the first couple of years began to truly shine in his wanded classes. He also did well in his etiquette classes and in the artistic subjects which were also a part of his standard curriculum.

It was not easy for Teodosio to make friends. Aloof, guarded, and condescending Teodosio had a difficult time empathizing or getting to know others. He looked down on most of his classmates, considering himself superior, and only befriended those he thought to be the best in some aspect or the most popular. Making powerful connections and ties was not something that had been lost on him- as a pureblood it was all a part of the game.

He would sit his exams at the end of his fourth year, eventually deciding to narrow his focus on the arts and wand work, but also continuing his education in the delicate art of brewing potions. He was an exemplary student, getting high marks, and always focusing his time and energies on classes first and play later.

Now entering his sixth year, the prospect of attending the tournament appeals to Teodosio. Firstly because of the possibility of personal glory, and secondly to be considered among the "best" his school has to offer is a personal achievement of itself. He is unsure how he feels about having to study alongside students from schools his family have taught him to be inferior- but sees it as an advantage on his end to outshine them and be more successful.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Teodosio was among those chosen to attend the tournament because he possesses many qualities which Beauxbatons hold in high esteem. He is very educated in the arts, and is a talented pianist and violinist. Teodosio is also very skilled in wand work and potions. He has never had any disciplinary issues and always does very well in all of his classes- applying himself and going above and beyond that which is expected of students. He has drive and passion in all things that he pursues, and has been successful in most of his past endeavors thus far- so why should the tournament be any different?

Sum up your character in one paragraph:  Teodosio is hardworking and meticulous, always striving to be the best in every aspect of his education and life. He has very high standards for himself and others- believing that a person has no self respect if they do not work hard to succeed.  Arrogant and short tempered he often has a hard time getting along with others. High skilled with a wand and in music, Teodosio exemplifies the traits which Beauxbatons prizes most.
