Physical Description: Fyetka has strong, aesthetic features. They aren’t necessarily “normal” traits of handsomeness, but are well defined.

His appearance takes after the side of his father and Paternal Grandmother’s line: the Putilovs. The only ones in the entire Strelnikov brood that look similar to him are Demitria and father. His face is square with a solid jawline and his nose is sharp. His cheek bones are high, but not overtly so. His skin tone is a light tan that he has built up over the many years playing sports outside.

His signature features, though are his lips and eyes. His eyes are a brilliant blue and when placed in contrast with his medium brown hair, appear constantly on fire. The former of the two options is something that Hogwartians will recognize almost immediately. His lips are round and constantly in a rosebud pout, nearly identical to his cousin, Mimi.

His build is tall and bordering on bulky. Unlike Taras’ lanky build, the younger Strelnikov brother, Vladmir, passed on his muscular visage to his only son. He is practically 6’3” and is covered from head to toe in muscle from playing every sport he can name. At the same time, he does not look out of proportion.

Fyetka has various scars along his arms and legs from playing said sports. It is also assumed that he has picked up a few from backing up his aunt’s nephew Vasily Volkov in Durmstrang’s underground. These rumors are unconfirmed…


Personality Description: Fyetka smiles easily. It is a loose and lazy sort of smile, picked up from his cousin Maxim. When he isn’t smiling, he has a half-way pout constantly on his lips. It’s been described as sultry, but he just smirks to that comment.

Everything he does, he does with a fiery passion. He is not cold as is expected of the people in Durmstrang and that’s probably what set him apart and kept him individual from his other Oberteil peers. He works tirelessly and throws himself fully into what he loves. It can sometimes make him oblivious to the reality of things, but in his head, everything makes sense. Until someone smashes some sense into his head. Physically. He goes after the social ladder with the same hunger and rode it up using his charisma. He does not procrastinate.  He does everything when it’s supposed to be done and he overachieves whenever possible. Anything to be the top. But isn’t that a Durmstrang student in general?

Fyetka isn’t reserved and a workaholic. He isn’t a ruthless dictator. Then how did he get to be an Oberteil?
Number one: He’s smart. He’s not a genius, but he works hard to stay on top. He’s learned not to procrastinate anything and has most of his work done two or three days in advance. This leaves him plenty of time for the other two reasons.
The second is he’s athletic. With a natural skill that doesn’t come in his studies, the Russian has an impressive affinity for physical activity. He’s big, strong, and has lots of endurance. His skill in sports gives him popularity with the general public and the teachers. It is that popularity that spurs the last, and most influential reason.

He is a crowd pleaser. He is the life of the under-classes and many people love him. He has the easy smile that leaves the girls in the younger years sighing. Most of all, he gives them attention as opposed to the other Obertiels that work only on their own benefit.

Now, that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want to be on top. He’s a Strelnikov. He’s a Putilov. And every Strelnikov will work for their own end whether acknowledged or not. 


History: Fyetka is the end of a long era for the Durmstrang Strelnikov Dynasty. His father and mother, Vladmir and Anna-Marie (a French Pureblood), had only planned on having two children. Those two were Maximus Andreyi, simply called Andreyi, and Marie-Ellen. In 1991 Andreyi was a bright eyed seven year old and his little sister was four. Disaster struck that year in the form of Dragons. While visiting his brother in Stone Manor, Andreyi was playing in the frozen forest that later would scar his unborn cousin for life. Night fell and Anna-Marie couldn’t find her son. They heard roaring in the distance.

Needless to say, Andreyi was found, but not alive.

Devastated, Anna-Marie swore to never have another child. She couldn’t take the loss. Little did she know, she was already pregnant with Fyetka. When she found this out, she attempted to go behind Vlad’s back and get an abortion, an unheard of topic in the Wizarding World. Vlad caught her before she could and she carried the baby to term.

On September 5th, she gave birth to Fyetka Maximus Strelnikov. She gave the child to Vlad and didn’t even look at it.

Fyetka’s young life was filled with nothing but trying to please his indifferent mother. Anna-Marie still filled her days with Marie-Ellen, but she showed no interest in her son. Instead, Darya, his aunt, took charge of the little boy. Having been abandoned by her husband for a second time and caring for Maxim and Demitria who were not even hers, had left her mind-numbingly lonely.

Darya was the perfect mother for Fyetka and he grew up inseparable from Maxim and Mimi. He spent more time with those three in the Stone Manor than he did in his family’s magnificent St. Petersburg Mansion.

When he was eight years old, his mother finally began to show some interest and took him back home for good. This left the child conflicted. Who was his mother? He felt so much more for Darya, but he had spent his entire young life trying to do everything to gain attention from the woman that bore him. Reluctantly, in his child’s mind, he decided to give his mother a chance. A few years later the Taras fiasco began and Darya and his youngest cousin fled the country. He didn’t see them for a few years after that.

In that time, he learned that his best trait was his personality. He had spent his whole entire young life pleasing people just to get that bit of attention that he craved. So, when he was home alone, as his sister had left for Durmstrang, he brought light and laughter to the workers and visitors of the St. Petersburg Town House.

When he was 10, he left for Durmstrang. He turned eleven only a smidge later.

The moment he stepped that platform. He might as well have been called an Obertiel. He had had his great grandparents, Putilov and Strelnikov, grandparents, father, uncle, aunt, Aunt’s family, Three older cousins, and his older sister, to lay a path for him and his name. The Professors already knew who he was and who his family was and what the repercussions would be should they insult the extensive Strelnikov dynasty.

He was skyrocketed into the cannibalistic Durmstrang Strata without much, if any resistance. Once on top, his personality and work ethic kept him there. Professors didn’t always love him, as he had taken some of the closer aspects of his cousin, Maxim, who was a practical jokester and sometimes disruptive, but he was popular with the school itself. Thus, he usually remained an Oberteil. There were a few years in the middle where he switched back and forth a few times, but in the end, he settled into his position as King of the Upper Lands (as his “cousin” Vasily was King of the Underground) with an easy grace.   


How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Fyetka is the school. He has the drive, the passion, the relentlessness, and the love of the ultimate goal. He is handsome, athletic, and social (at times to a fault). Ever since being a younger year, Fyetka was comfortably an Oberteil. Consistent in his work and position in the school, he represents the brighter side of an intense institution like Durmstrang

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Equal parts work and play, Fyetka Strelnikov is an athletic, charismatic heart-throb that has the masses at his feet. His fellow Oberteils aren’t always amused, but he doesn’t really care. He’s the king of the castle in his mind. Ever since he was little, he was about connections with people.

At what age did your character gain this ability?: Began training at 13; First full transfomation at age 16

How did they learn or hone this ability?: Anna-Marie was a harsh mother. She did not coddle. She did not love. In fact, her love had run its course months before Fyetka was even born. Anna-Marie did not raise her child- she left that feat to Darya, her sister-in-law- and even when she decided that she wanted her young son, she did not love him. She just wanted him to succeed in ways that she knew her daughter never could. She was a woman after all.

No, her son was going to be the best. Anna-Marie was an animagus herself, a beautiful, languid leopard, and she wanted to pass on what she had learned. When it was obvious Marie-Ellen had no affinity for the subject, preferring tangibles like potions, the French Matriarch switched her attentions to the son she had nearly given up. Starting from when he was 13, the year after he started at Durmstrang, she began teaching him. She was demanding and in two years, he was able to switch targeted areas of his body. His nose became a sharp beak. His eyes turned golden. At the very end of his third year, he was able to make the full change. His form was a Steller’s Sea Eagle. Large, proud, and intelligent, it mirrored Fyetka’s abilities well. He would continue to practice and perfect all through his Durmstrang years with Anna-Marie and Vladmir monitoring his progress whenever he came home for a break. If he didn’t improve… Well, he always did, so no consequences were ever given for him “slacking off.”

Describe how the Special Ability influences their life.  What do they use it for?: Fyetka uses his animagus ability as a tool for information and freedom. Most people would think that a large Eagle flying around the Durmstrang campus would be too noticeable to be used for stealth, but Fyetka thinks otherwise. An eagle has sharp eyes, so he can sit from the highest roofs and observe everything that goes on below. Durmstrang Students have noticed this eagle, but probably assume it’s tied to one of the professors.

Fyetka also uses his wings for moments of quiet. He loves to fly, one of the main reasons he plays quidditch, but its not always practical to go down to the pitch. So he takes the moments between classes to slip off momentarily and do his rounds of the school.

His form as an Eagle also helps him as an Obertiel. By mastering the complicated transformations, it helped his other magics strengthen as well. Also, even though the other students are not aware of his eagle form (minus a few exceptions) the professors are. It definitley helped spurred their decision to move him to Zufrieden then to Obertiel. 

Write a description of what happens when your character is exhibiting this Special Ability: Being a bird is second nature to Fyetka. When he turns, he becomes a Steller’s Sea Eagle with a 7 ½ foot wingspan. He weighs about 14 pounds. His beak is bright yellow and instead of being a straight curve, it has a slight twist at the end. His feathers are always meticulously groomed and the whites on his wing and tail are always bright. His distinguishing features are his twisted beak, one gold/one bright blue eye.
