OH HAI DERE!

Saw you make that pony thread and decided to ravage your network(s).

I'll keep this relatively short compared to the amount of characters I have.

Beatrix Dark & Kirby - Beatrix is batcrap insane, and is Kirby's housemate. So, they'd probably deal with each other a lot. Beatrix is rather sweet and bubbly and touchy feely and cuddly and blahblahblah. She'd probably notice Kirby's an artist and bother him about how great he is and whatnot. No matter if she actually sees his artwork. Whether Kirby likes her or not, that's up to you. But I could see them as friendly acquaintances.

Leon O. Monroe & Kirby
- Um. Hello. I can promise you that Leon won't go and kill people and mess with Kirby's mind, as long as Kirby doesn't become a serial killer himself. Or however that movie worked out. I don't remember. Anyhow! Leon just graduated, being a seventh year when Kirby was a fifth year. He was Head Boy and Quidditch captain. A bit socially inept and incredibly intelligent and not very humorous. But a total sweetheart. Now he owns a bookstore, so perhaps Kirby could visit him one day in Hogsmeade. I could seem them as being friendly, as Leon was generally friendly with the Ravenclaw boys. Why does Leon always require the most explaining? Gosh.

Razzy Chancelier & Kirby - Well. This one is a bit hard. Razzy is very flirtatious and brooding and known for being a bit... Well... Threatening. As in, life threatening. As in, people don't like to cross him. Even though he's a total sweetheart, I swear! Sometimes! Anyhow! Razzy would likely flirt with Kirby, but he wouldn't make a move on him. They could be friendly, if you want. Razzy is generally indifferent with students. Unless Kirby would be uncomfortable around him.

Murphy Urquhart & Kirby - They're in the same year, both serious, and both artists. While Murphy is known for being ridiculously sassy, I could see them being friends. Murphy likes fellow artists and generally associates herself with intelligent people. Buuut. It's up to you, like I always say. :3

Huck would definitely tease Kirby a good deal of the time, but would probably actually like him since they'd probably be doing arty things together at some point or another. But definitely teasing. He doesn't have a real good capacity for judging whether people are up for that kinda thing or not.

Gracie Is A Tease, so she'd prolly try to see if his blush would match his hair, hee. :3 They probably wouldn't have had the chance to ever really talk one-on-one, having few interests in common and all, but I'm always interested in expanding her acquaintance with people outside her typical social bubble! If you'd like, maybe friendly acquaintances in the very least? Though I guess it all really depends on how uncomfortable she makes him in the first place LOL. >D

Ooh, all these fabulous people want to hang out with Kirby! :>

Beatrix & Kirby: Friendly acquaintances sounds good to me. Kirby likely sees her as a bit of loose cannon (though ultimately a good person), but his mild nature would probably never do anything to evoke her wrath. He wouldn't want to hang out with her one-on-one, but he certainly finds her colourful (literally and figuratively).

Leon & Kirby: Hah! Leon and Kirby have probably seen plenty of each other, since they were in the same house and Kirby is family friends with Edmund Klint (one of Leon's good friends, correct?). I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think they would get on really well. Kirby could certainly come visit Leon at his bookstore! That would definitely make it easier to determine what kind of relationship they should have.

Also: someone who doesn't come up to his chest! Yay! :P

Razzy & Kirby: Kirby probably wouldn't have an opinion about Razzy, sort of an "I know of him" thing. Razzy's violent moods, like Beatrix's, would be reason enough for Kirby to not particularly want to hang out with him. He would be flattered by the Hufflepuff's flirting, while gently reminding him that he is not oriented toward boys.

Murphy & Kirby: Ah, yes, Kirby does seem to have a soft spot for the girls in Godric's house. Probably because his stepsister/best friend Alison is a Gryffindor- Murphy would probably know her, because she's also a sixth year. Murphy's darker tendencies would concern Kirby a bit, but he would appreciate her genuineness and artistic ability. Friends? The kind of friends that could paint together without saying a word? She could also push him to be more adventurous, and he would attempt to convince her to at least try at school.

Curious: How do you pronounce her last name?

Huck & Kirby: As long as Huck doesn't get too personal with his teasing, Kirby would be alright with him and let it roll off his back. Make fun of his ears, freckles, or stretched-out frame all you want, but if you speak ill of his art or family, you will be on his (very short) shit list. He would, however, be wary, since Huck isn't on good terms with Kirby's friend Vulpes.

He's joining the Art Club this year, so that will be a good place for them to get to know each other better and for Kirby to discover "hey, maybe Huxley's not so bad." Acquaintances for now?

Gracie & Kirby: We could definitely thread it out, but at first glance, I can't see Kirby liking Gracie at all. To him, she would seem manipulative, two-faced, and, well, mean. Kirby's normally a very calm individual, but he is also a hot-blooded heterosexual teenage boy! Gracie could certainly get a rise out of him... though it wouldn't leave a good impression.

Ye~s, I see your point. Especially - heh - she can be.

She wouldn't mind too much (if at all) about it, either, so... Annoyance/Avoidance, then, y/n? ouo

UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR

yeah that might make things awkward for them hahaha. BUT, huck is pretty excited to talk to anybody who is into art and he might make one or two silly jokes about kirby's family but nothing legit. i think it'd be an amiable acquaintanceship until we have a chance to flesh it out :>

Hello.
(Nosy new member here. Please tell me if I'm being rude or just dumb.)

*Ahem* I'd like it if our characters knew each other.

Here's how I see things: I think that Alex and Kirby would know each other quite well, after being in the same house for 5 years. Alex would probably quite like him, and she would especially approve of his calm attitude, although by not standing up for himself, she would be irritated. This wouldn't alter her overall attitude towards him though. The only other thing she might disagree with is his sense of ethics, although she would be unlikely to contradict his opinions and it wouldn't generally affect their relationship.
She would probably be slightly less likely to make rude comments unless she knew they'd be taken in good faith, and although she wouldn't be a close friend, they would probably be on good terms, and they could be friends.

Of course, that all depends on Kirby's opinion of Alex. If you disagree with anything I've said, please tell me.

No, no- you're perfectly fine!

I think like his passivity irritates her, her insensitivity would grate on him. However, I think Kirby would be able to tell she's just trying to be honest. He would certainly respect her intelligence and skill, and if he's never seen how cruel she can be to those she dislikes first hand, he would like her well enough. Alex would sort of remind him of his stepsister. How does "friendly acquaintances" sound?

Yes!
That sounds like a reasonable level of affection- they'd talk to each other if they were there, but not really make an effort to see each other sort of thing.
