Ah, Muggle London, Friday night… it was the first time on that month that Alethea gave herself the pleasure of having fun there. She would probably take the chance and spend whole weekend lost there - her cell phone on and working, she could call some friends later, or maybe Nick… yeah, that idea sounded nice. Turning 39 that week left her kind emotive.

So she could only hope not gets too damn nostalgic meeting her good old friend that night. Isaac was someone she always admired, since Hogwarts. His warm aura, restless spirit and kind heart were something of delightful. The world should really have more people like him around.

Unfortunately, since graduation she could no longer see him often. First Asia, then Australia, then Brazil, Africa and… Hogwarts. He was always somewhere more or less far, doing something great. At least he always had good histories to tell. But the one she was hugely interested and curious about was his plans to the future.

Isaac left Hogwarts, Alethea knew and at first thought he might be traveling again or writing another book. Then she heard about him joining the Ministry - at Dree’s new office - and couldn’t be happier about this. Not only because the Muggle Affairs deserved someone like him, but because they would certainly work together as well.

But she still wanted to hear the good news from his mouth, so she went straight from work to the streets, enjoying the pleasantly weather of that time of the year to go walking to the pub. It wasn’t too far away from the Ministry anyway, just the time for a cigarette and voilŕ! She entered the place, noticing it was still relatively empty for the time, so she was able to choose a table near the window.

Readily attended by the waitress, she was about to dismiss the girl alleging she prefer to wait for her friend to make the orders when the door opened and she smiled, recognizing Isaac’s handsome figure. “Oh, there he is!” She exclaimed, standing up to give him a hug. “Long time no see, my dear! How are you?”
