Physical Description: Envy is half-Japanese, though its not very obvious except for slightly in the shape of her eyes. Often compared to a pixy or a doll, she is very small for her age, barely five feet tall and not even 90 pounds. She has light-colored skin and a heart-shaped face with delicate, pointed features and an upturned nose. Her eyes are deep-set, amber and slanted, tilted upwards at the outer corners, and her mouth has a unique shape to it that almost resembles a cats when she smiles or talks, even to a point where a few teachers and fans of her band have described her as 'feline'. Her short hair is perpetually spiky and messy no matter what she does to it and rarely seen the same color for more than a month. She tends to dye it or cut it whenever she gets bored, by magical and non-magical means. Envy is known for pushing the limits with her school uniform, such as sewing on her own patches and wearing her thigh highs and combat boots along with it. Outside of school she dresses in a very punk rock fashion, chains, zippers and faded converse in abundance. She wears grade A zettai ryouiki (that is, a very short skirt or shorts with long socks) with practically every outfit, and doesn't own a single t-shirt that hasn't been cut so it hangs off her shoulders or altered in some way. She also has a penchant for wearing goggles, top-hats and corsets. She has a few handmade tattoos and piercings, mostly in hidden places to comply with school rules, and always wears a shoe-lace tied around her neck, which is rumored to be a memento of a friend that died.
The most obvious of her tattoos is the words "never knows best" tattooed on her right wrist.

Personality Description: Despite her preference of heavy metal and dark clothing, Envy has an extremely sunny and perky disposition and its very rare to see her without a huge smile on her face. She is energetic and enthusiastic about everything, almost to a point where more practical people feel slightly exhausted after talking to her for a long period of time. She gets excited over very small things and bored of them almost twice as easily, and has to be almost in constant motion to keep entertained, probably one of the reasons she has become known as a bit of a party girl. She's very adventurous and mischievous, ready for almost anything and always getting into some kind of trouble.  She's also extremely flirtatious and been known to steal quite a few boyfriends (and even a few girlfriends).
Despite seeming sweet, Envy has a wicked temper and gets mad at the drop of a hat. She's not a particularly violent person, though she wouldn't hesitate to hex someone just for insulting her. The few physical fights she has gotten into have earned her a reputation as a talented fighter, however, so people tend to avoid getting on her bad side.
Though people often think she's ditzy because of her permanently upbeat attitude and eccentric mannerisms, Envy is actually quite intelligent and very talented in almost all creative fields, especially music. She doesn't seem to care much for anything else however, which is the main reason for some of her low marks.
Envy has a strong love for geek culture, martial arts, jewelry, animals (no matter how ugly), and especially, pretty girls and cute guys. Her music is very important to her and she is fiercely protective of her band mates.

History:Envy's childhood has been unusual to say the least. Her parents have never been the most conventional and she's grown up surrounded by uniquel characters, including her best friend Willow Halford and the group of boys that would one day become her band, Second Thought.
Envy's parents met when they were sixteen and fell quickly and madly in love, one of the reasons why Envy grew up into such a romantic herself. Her father, Argent, was the pureblood son of two Aurors and has always been the black sheep of the family. While the rest of his family was very military and clean cut, Argent was a lot like Envy, very into music and even seen sporting a mohawk and leather jacket in a few of his old school pictures.
Envy's mother, however, was a muggle priestess named Inori Katakura, who was living and working in her grandfather's shrine when Argent met her on a family trip to Japan. It was rumored among the schoolkids that the young miko had psychic powers, which caused her to be isolated from the rest of the group, but drew Argent towards her when he decided to investigate to see whether or not she was a witch.
Despite both of their parent's protests, Argent and Inori moved in together at a very young age and relocated to LA after baby Yuu was born in the UK. They never married but had baby Yuu at age 18 and 19, which caused some tension between Inori and her parents. Though Argent's parents originally disapproved, they quickly came to love their new baby grand daughter and asked their son to move back to the UK with them. Argent agreed and moved back by the time Envy turned 10, ironically right next door to a little charm shop that just so happened to be owned by a miss Elizabeth Halford, the mother of the shy girl that would later become the reluctant voice of reason in Envy's misadventures.
By the time Envy had turned 5, Argent had dropped his former punk rock wardrobe, cut off his mohawk, and started wearing suits and smoking out of a pipe to affect the look of a stereotypical 50s dad. Inori became quieter and quieter and clung to her Japaneses roots, even refusing to talk to Envy in any other language than Japanese when no one else was around. Argent's parents' visits became more and more frequent, and each time they would bring some new and exciting stranger with them. By the time Envy was 13 she was extremely skilled in hand to hand combat, dueling, defensive spells, fluent in Japanese, and could play the electric violin thanks to her father. She took after her mother in appearance, but her father in personality, sometimes even sneaking a few of his old clothes out of hiding to wear to school.
After a while Envy became sick of staying in one place all the time, and moved in with Willow Halford and her twin brother, two people who had become regular fixtures at the Katakura home, for what she called 'a change of scenery.'
Unlike most people, Envy loves going to school and thinks of it as an adventure. She tends to skip any classes she thought were boring to go 'exploring', something that has always gotten her into trouble. It was through one very interesting detention that she met three people who she became close friends with throughout the next couple of years. They formed a soul punk band called Second Thought in their 5th year, which has become increasingly popular over the years among the Hogwarts crowd, and even spread a little to a few other nearby schools. Her status as the lead singer and one of the song writers of Second Thought has earned Envy a bit of a reputation and caused her to become the target of a lot of moody, emo-haired underclassmen fantasies, much to her amusement.
Envy is also known for her love of dueling, and has gotten into trouble multiple times for her underground 'fight clubs'.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Despite her impulsiveness, Envy is actually extremely intelligent and clever. It's one of her traits that tends to surprise people.

    Writing Sample: "Hey Little Freak!"
Envy groaned and turned over in her bed, covering up her ears to block out the noise. Someone had opened up the window to her bedroom and the sun streamed in, shining in her eyes. She squinted and tried to pull her worn out, Power Ranger sheets over her head, but seconds later it was yanked away.
"Wake up, we got work to do."
"Quiet Willow." Envy murmured, then remembered Willow was back at her mom's house. She sat up in the bed and stretched, opening one eye to look around. The room and the surroundings were all unfamiliar: a small, square room with white walls and a tiny white bed. She could see the beach out her window, ( along with the trail of muddy footprints across her floor) and remembered why she had left her window open that night.
"Hey Little Freak!" The voice called from the kitchen this time. Little Freak? Was that supposed to be her? Oh well, she guessed it was fitting.
She looked down and realized she had fallen asleep in her clothes. She was wearing a white, button-up shirt, the fabric stiff from swimming in the ocean last night, and a pair of boy's boxer shorts. Squinting at the cat-like face in the mirror, she saw her hair was a mess (oh well, like that was anything new) and her eyeliner had smeared in her sleep. The tiny pink diamonds at the corners of her mouth glinted when she smiled.
"Coming." She called, her voice still a bit scratchy. She pulled on a pair of jeans from off the floor-- she wasn't sure if they were hers or the woman in the kitchen's but it wasn't like it mattered-- and put on her boots without lacing them up. Real army boots, military grade. A gift from her grandfather, in fact. After washing her face up a bit and rubbing some toothpaste on her teeth, she stumbled into the kitchen and looked at the beautiful, blond woman standing at the stove.
"What's for breakfast?" She mumbled, sitting down at the table. She hoped she'd actually be able to get something in her stomach before today's adventure. She'd heard this new drummer was sick and had to check it out herself.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Cute, impish short tank with a personality like she's constantly mainlining chrystal meth and red bull. Flirtatious, adventurous, curious, and a trouble-maker. Also a bit of tsundere, though definately more on the dere dere side. Dresses in grunge apparel and loves music more than anything.
