Dear Mr. Scrimshander,

   I'm not quite sure if you remember me, I was more known as “the crazy new girl” by the time you left the Department (and I own you my life for all the tips you gave me that time, thank you so much!). 

   Well, I suppose now you might have a hint of who I am.

   I'm writing you after all those years because I'm pleased to hear that you're coming back to U.K. to be the new Professor of Muggle Studies at Hogwarts! I'm so very happy about it, not only for you, but for all the children about to be your students.

   We're passing through hard times, as always. After two wars I feel shame telling you now that we still have wizards who believes that Muggles are inferior kind. It will be important to have such a great mind as yours working to educate our kids.

   Kindness and respect always comes with wisdom.

   Tell me when you'll arrive; I'll be glad to meet you and catch up after all these years! Will be thrilling hear about your life in America!
