Callum Knight's Yearbook

Callum Knight Slytherin 5th Year

Callum knew that he wasn't coming back next year for Hogwarts. There were rumors swirling about his joining up with pro quidditch- and it was true. But he couldn't say a whole lot about it until the contract was finalized and officially announced, so he had been dodging a lot of questions. Because of that it was very important to Callum to get a lot of signatures from his friends- so he would have something to remember them by. This year had been chaotic. He had gone through a lot of changes, finally growing into a mature adult- or so he thought. Fitting since he'd be a legal adult soon in the wizard world.

He felt awkward asking others to sign his yearbook. He wasn't the most sentimental of people, and it felt very awkward to let that emotion show as he handed his book around.

Callum,

You're still here?

It's a darn shame that we've grown so far apart, really.
But it's pretty impossible to be friends with someone
who mercilessly stabbed me in the back and then
proceeded to tell me to stop being myself and become a
mindless drone like every other girl at school. When you
put that into consideration, how are we not friends??!!

And yet you're still devilishly handsome. You should go pro already.
No, it's okay. Just leave. We'll all miss you, but it'll do you well.

Knight,

You're a funny bloke. And I heard you're great at Quidditch.
I wouldn't know. I have bigger priorities. It's all bollocks.

Of course, it's a bit hard to talk appreciatively to a guy who
has probably shat all over my bloodline just because his family
has shagged itself and its members into purity. Que romantico.

Have a nice summer. See you nevur! XOXOXOXO!!

Callum,

I’m sad to see you leave, but I know you will be fantastic!  I
know we did not start off on the best terms, but I’m glad, at
least for your last year, we got to be friends.

I may even get to see you again – maybe I’ll actually come
to a game or two while I’m on holiday.  I wish you the best of
luck and please stay in touch!

XOXOX JSD
