I can tell from the nature of the letter, and your caution to be vague, that this is an important matter. I have quite a lot of time at my leisure as of late, and would be quite glad to aid you in any way that I can. You were always a very bright young man, and a willing and apt pupil. If there is any way I can be of assistance- within reason, of course- I would be glad to do so.

As soon as you are released from Mungo's, I would be more than willing to stop by level two to have a more personal meeting. As always, if it better suits your purposes, my home is open to you as well.

I apologize for the state of my last letter, but as you guessed, I was in a very perplexing situation. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and willingness to offer me assistance. I will not go into much detail in this letter, but I can tell you I am very interested in experimental defensive magic and its development. Also, it would be better if we meet outside of the Ministry building. If it’s not a problem, I would be more than happy to come over to your estate whenever you find time for me (I would offer my flat, however that place is currently a small war zone – I will tell you more about it!).
