It's very likely you will not remember me, so let me start off this letter by re-introducing myself as Anna Jenkins. I attended NWA from 1997 until June of last year. Upon speaking with Tulojow Nagde, I learnt that you have been accepted as the Muggle Studies Professor at Hogwarts this fall. I was pleasently surprised to hear this, as I have recently moved to London, in order to pursue a job as healer at St. Mungo's.
Although I did not take your classes past 4th year, I remember your classes fondly. I'm sure you can understand that being muggle born myself, Muggle Studies was an unneccesary subject. However I know many of my friends loved your class, and I am certain NWA is sad to see you leave.
I hope this letter finds you well and that your move to the U.K. goes smoothly.

You mustn't underestimate yourself. Of course I remember you! (Do you still sing at all? If not it's a damn shame!)

You needn't worry about offending me. Students can only take so many classes, there's only so much time in the day. You were always a keen student so I can't say I was happy to see you go, though!

We must have tea sometime. I'd love to hear how St. Mungo's is going for you. Congratulations are in order, if a bit late.

(I must admit it will take me a bit of time to get used to addressing you as such.)
I indeed do sing now and again, though I can't believe you recall that! Unfortunately St. Mungo's has a bit of a traditional approach, and singing as a healing method isn't generally encouraged. However, I am enjoying my work, and I love London. It's so very different from Canada and Washington! I went to see the Tower of London yesterday; it was magnificent. And it was comforting to spend some time with muggles. It does get a bit lonely here, not knowing anyone. I would most certainly appreciate a cup of tea once you are settled here.

Take your time in adjusting, but if you call me Professor Scrimshander next time we see each other in person I may be forced to take disciplinary action.

I'm not surprised about St. Mungo's. But it's the price you have to pay for a good job, I suppose. Give up some things, gain others. C'est la vie and all that.

Very glad to hear you enjoyed the Tower (though isn't that a rather morbid choice?) I'll have to show you around a bit before I head off to Hogwarts, maybe introduce you to some people. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Should be across the pond soon, just a few more things to tie up here. I'm sure the owls will appreciate it once I'm moved.
