Wand: 11 1/2" Japanese Yew wood with Thestral core. The wand is rigid in nature, interpreted as a confident style and a stubborn personality. The entire Japanese Yew bush is toxic, representing Jade's negative influence on anyone he comes into contact with.

Physical Description: Jade Corin is a tall and slender man of average build. He carries himself with a hint of arrogance, and understands completely the message he sends with his body language. He always dresses impeccibly, rarely choosing to wear the standard wizarding robes, and instead opting to wear business suits.

Personality Description: Arrogant to the core, Jade feels that there is no comparison between him and anyone else. His reputation has earned him the nickname of Necromancer in the criminal underworld, though he rarely associates with what he considers to be "sub-par wizards and witches." Despite his image, he is a very approachable person, because he believes that's the kind of person you need to be in order to succeed. Jade is entirely mild-mannered. The only time he ever appears to lose his temper is when someone stops his experiments.

History:

- Born in Tokyo, Japan. His father was in the Navy, his mother was a 17 year old and a foriegn exchange student in high school. A night of passion led to Jade being concieved.

- Jade was raised by his mother, who decided to put the child up for adoption. He never knew his biological family. He was quickly adopted by a woman named Gelda Neblim, and moved to Ireland.

- Discovered he could use magic, and was soon sent a letter to attend Hogwarts. Neblim revealed that she too could use magic.

- Graduated from Hogwarts in 1982, majoring in Defense Against the Dark Arts and minoring in Potions. As a Muggleborn in the normally Pureblood house Slytherin, Jade had to work twice as hard to be accepted. He was the victim of frequent bullying, until he lured his main antagonists into the Forbidden Forest by pretending to run from them. He then unleashed a Confusion Charm on the three of them and left them to their fate.

- Gelda Neblim was murdered by religious zealots who believed her to be the devil. Being the closest thing he had to a mother, Jade swore revenge. Instead of focusing his rage on the ones that killed her, Jade began his research on Necromancy in hopes to revive her.

- In 1986, Jade found Gelda's correspondance to several dark wizards hidden in her home office desk. He discovered that his adoptive mother was helping to plan a takeover, using the conflict between Ireland and Britain as a cover. He contacted the underground under the name Jade Corin, a student of Neblim's.

- Became their top researcher in Alchemy and Necromancy (it was at this time that he decided he hated the term). It was at this time that his goal to ressurect his mother came to pass. Unfortunately, all he created was an Inferi and he was forced to kill her, and lay her to rest. He upped his research, and decided he would unlock any secrets he could.

- Jade Corin used the bodies of the fallen, enemy and ally alike, to further his research. What followed was a gruesome study on Transfiguration. This caught the ire of the Ministry of Magic, who sent in two Aurors undercover within the SAS (British Special Forces) to track and capture him. Bored with his studies, he relished the chase he would son recieve.

- He was easily captured, but evaded conviction due to Alexander Belisario and Marcus Annwyl, the two Aurors sent for him, being unable to arrive for testimony. A free man, Jade continued his research anew. He remained incognito for over a decade, building a reputation with the criminal underworld.

- In 2008, Jade craved a new avenue for his hobbies, as well as a consistent paycheck. He applied for the position of Unspeakable, assisting the Head of the Department of Mysteries Analiza Snark.

What is your job description? How do you go about your job? How did you get your current job? How does your past and abilities justify your current position?: He is an Unspeakable, and an assistant to Analiza Snark. He was rought on due to his avant-garde methods of research.

All throughout his life, Jade has strived to expand the idea of what it means to be a wizard in modern day society. His hobbies include Alchemy, Necromancy (even though he despises the term), and experimentation. He's adept with a wand, and always looks for creative reasons to use it.

"Another one. Damn." Jade made a cutting motion with his throat, letting his assistant know to let up on the wand work. "I asked you to do one thing, and that was to cast just a simple spell. Simple. Spell. Did you get your wand from a toy vendor? I'm just curious!" Jade lifted his reading glasses and massaged the bridge of his nose. "I asked for someone intelligent," Jade said to no one in particular. "All I got was you," he said, now focusing his attention on his assistant. "It's so hard to believe that these witches and wizards have been using this IRA conflict for this long without any hitches, what with them barely able to give me someone of any use. What does that say about them?" Jade's trademark sarcasm bubbled to the surface for just a moment.

The Inferi lay on the table next to him, raging and stretching the harness that kept him put. "Merlin's Mother, if I wanted another Inferi I would have asked for one!" Jade leveled his wand calmly at his creation. "Avada Kedavra!" Jade uttered with intensity and indifference. The Inferi suddenly stopped squirming. "Such a nice spell. It's a very clean kill. Thank you Neblim, for showing me it. Did you know, Mr... whatever your name is, that my major was actually Defense Against the Dark Arts? No, how could you? Well, it's kind of ironic, don't you think?" Jade chuckled at the notion.

Jade's eyes met that of his assistant, who was now trying in vain to stop shaking. "I don't know what you're so afraid of." Jade moved his glasses back down and readjusted his eyes to his paperwork. "I'm not going to kill you, so you can stop shaking. Unless, of course, I have no more use for you." Their eyes were deadlock for an eternity before Jade broke the silence. "Just kidding! Well, half kidding." Jade adjusted his glasses. "Get me another dead body, we're going to be here a while."
