Full Character Name: Bellatrix Jean Tremlett
Character Birthday & Age: 30th June 1993, 15
City & Country of Birth: Gloucester
Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn: Halfblood
House & Year: Ravenclaw, 5th
Wand: 11 inches, Rosewood and Phoenix Feather.
Physical Description: She's 5'4", and has quite long, blonde, curly hair, a slight but feminine figure, pale skin, aslightly large, hooked, beak-like nose and golden-brown eyes.
Personality Description: She's a great learner: both dedicated and curious. She's also passionate and friendly, but shy, and takes a long time getting to know people before she actually believes in ther friendship. She's logical, thoughtful and reflective, and enjoys helping with things, like charities, because of the power to do good.
Relationship-wise, she's hopeful and teasing. She likes to test boundaries - and inquisitive. She likes to know how and why things work and happen.
Her patronus and animagus is/would be a cat. She thinks History of Magic should include lectures from other ghosts.
Her life ambition is to head (and found) an International Relations and Comminications Office in the Ministry of Magic's Auror Dept.
History: Her father is the bass player from The Wierd Sisters (Donagham Tremlett) and her Mother is Muggle-born (Guinevere Puckle Tremlett). She has two younger sisters called Daele Jemima Tremlett and Bathilda Jessica Tremlett. They are quite close in age, and partly due to their father's fame, therefore consequent relative isolation from 'normal' children of their ages, they are very close.
They live on the outskirts of Montrose, Scotland. The household has an old house-elf called Florey and she has been with them since before Trixie was born. They've lived a comfortable life, with intellectual (and so on) competition between the three sisters which has led to academic excellence in all three of them, due to the constant challenge provided by one another - the eldest trying to remain the cleverest, the middle trying to outshine the eldest, the youngest trying to keep up.
She has a barn owl, called Cecilia, as, though she prefers cats in general, she values communication above anything. Her mother was one of the multilingual muggle child prodigys of her day, so Trixie, as she prefers to be called, is fluent already in some European Languages (French, Spanish and German) and is studying many Magical languages, such as Mermish and Goblin, and other international languages such as Italian, Greek and Japanese.
Her favourite subjects are DADA, Transfiguration and Ancient Runes and her least favourite are Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. She plays chaser quite well. Her first four years at Hogwarts were relatively enjoyable and she did well in her exams. Her OWL subjects are Potions, Transfiguration, History of Magic, Astronomy, Charms, DADA, Hebology, Ancient Runes and Arithmancy - she gave up Care of Magical Creatures after one year of its study.
In her future, really: She has a bit of a romantic attraction towards Gryffindors, as she finds Hufflepuffs in general boring and Slytherins in general distasteful, and as she's hughly independant, she relishes being able to look up to somebody in a relationship.
How Do You Fit Into Your House?: She is witty and shrewd, clever and bluntly cynical, logical and wise, yet slightly vain and mildly self-interested. She could have been a Gryffindor, as she is passionate, impulsive and emotionally slightly tempremental, but she's not quite single-minded enough, and pirdes herself on basing her views on fact rather than emotion.
Writing Sample:
She watched the swallow for a moment, as it darted underneath the leaden clouds, meandering its cadenza over the sun-dried rape-seed field.
'I don't think you're a particularly reliable authority, considering the situation.' She turned to face him and raised her eyebrows.
'I've had as much experience as you,' he replied, hotly.
A rustling nearby caused them to start, freezing to the spot, listening for further disturbance.
'Do you think...?'
'No.'
Even so, they drew closer to one another subconsciously, drawing their wands in synchronisation.
'Hominum Revealeo,' they both muttered. Nothing was discovered. They both breathed deeply with vague relief.
'Do you think animagi are revealed by that?' She mused.
'Dunno. Probably not.' He shrugged.
'Hmm,' she regarded their surroundings, archly, before condescending 'I suppose this'll do.'
However, before Will could respond, thunder crumbled the air around them, rolling through the valley.
'Hell,' she muttered, waving her wand and then whispering 'impervius!'
He copied, and they regarded one another for a second in silence, suspended in a moment of still cessation.
'So, now...?'
'We wait. Although we may as well get...' A wolfish grin crossed his face. 'Comfortable.'
'Touch me, William Artagan, and I swear I shall transfigure you into...'
'Yes? What, exactly?'
She paused to consider for a split-second. 'A toad.'
'A toad?' He gazed at her in theatrical dissapointment.
'Classic, yet undesirable.' She raised her eyebrows. 'And, in any case, that should be one of the less difficult transformations to affect you with.'
He scowled and rolled his wand aggressively in his fingers, tapping it on his thigh with the intensity of a pick-axe.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: She's both brave and obsessed with justification, however more logical and balanced than the average Gryffindor, so was placed in Ravenclaw. She appreciates arts, such as classic muggle music and literature, as she was brought up to by her musical father and muggle-born mother, and has a passion for languages. She can be quite introverted at times.
