A Short History

1970-1981
Childhood in the glorious days of the Dark Lord. She hated her parent's absence and beliefs. Was sociable and kind to the other kids, though, even the Death Eater's children.

1981-1988
Attended Hogwarts, Hufflepuff alumni. Typical teenager that loves being in the middle of some mess. That's when she felt in love with muggle's habits, technology and world.

1988-1996
Started to work at the Ministry as an intern and little by little gained better roles. At the beginning she was living with a muggleborn roommate, then passed to live alone.

1996-1997
The period of the war, officially. She worked with the muggle's government to cover Death Eater's attacks. When the Ministry was taken, she resigned and tried the best she could to help people in secrecy.

1997 – nowadays
She returned to the Ministry in the same role she had before the war. In 2005 she gained the Chairwitch of the Muggle-Worthy Committee title. Works hard not only to keep the post, but to continue raising. 


Initial Personality

At work she's always trying really hard to be serious, but had no boundaries outside her duties. Is compulsive, talks a lot, smiles a lot, is flirty and kind of a eternal loner. Loves muggles and everything related, is always up to date with their world. Have a talent to tell lies, so that she does it as if she's telling an undeniable truth. Is almost a political.

If not, this seems to be the place to introduce myself.

Actually, by now, I'm sure Alethea is probably aware of Jacoba and probably has been involved with the family's murder.  Actually - there's any number of ways she might have been involved.  But ... for starters ... Jacoba is Diagon's resident muggle.  There's quite a bit of background story (feel free to grab me on AIM/pm anytime!) but the gist of it is that Jacoba started working for Reducto Records back in November and has been recently promoted to assistant manager.  She's very much trying to keep her head low and make it clear all she's trying to do is go about her life as normally as possible but, obviously, there's little normal about it.  So - whether they might have crossed paths before or end up needing to cross paths soon - one of Jacoba's greatest fears right now is having the obliviators come and boot her out.  From that aspect, she probably avoids the Muggly-Worthy Excuse office as much as possible.  Forging an ally there might be really beneficial.

The murder of Jacoba and Sasha's family back at Christmas - and the whole process of figuring out what to do with a previous muggle estate, etc, probably was a significant headache for Alethea's office.  His name has probably cropped up in the caseload but that's probably about it. 

You can definitely add Cinaed to the list of enemies.  He has enough of a reputation for mugglebaiting, murdering muggles and changing appearances in muggle restaurants to keep her office busy.  If you ever wanted drama, she'd definitely be a potential harassment target.

Tapendra would definitely approve of her policies and her choice of pubs, though I'm not sure they would have ever met in person. If she keeps a thumb in the politics of Muggle vs Wizard - which I assume she does - then his appointment to Hogwarts would be of note. He's a 'letter to the editor' sort of person, so it's entirely possible he's written to her regarding her Committee's actions.

Beyond that, he has no trouble getting completely drunk with people of like mind (and even a few of those of opposite mind). Given he's wrapped up in the Sasha stuff to some extent, he might have also written to her regarding that.

Archie would love to tag along! Drinking and pretty women are among his very favorite things!

About Archie, Alethea wouldn't deny an invitation from a younger, good looking man... As long as he doesn't try to control/protect her. She might be too independent for his taste... XD

But well, she have to cover magical creature's appearances from muggles too, so they can work together anytime 

Jonas has only been back at the Ministry for a few months, but he might be in the running for Level Three's Least Favorite Auror.  When he was still a private detective, he was involved in the incident when Tamis got carted off to a Muggle hospital, which probably created all sorts of headaches for the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee.  Since getting reinstated, he was partially responsible for the street level entrance to the Ministry getting destroyed, and was also the other wizard present when Cin changed appearance in a Muggle restaurant.  (For the last, he probably tried to avoid dealing with it by not filling out any paperwork and has been hoping that no one on Level Three would notice.)

He is really pro-Muggle, though, so at least he has that going for him.

If you want to set up any work-related headaches for Alethea, maybe we can get something going!

I guess Trevelyan is the name that makes Alethea frown everytime she hear or read it. Like "ahn, what now?"
