Wand: Emmy’s wand is 9 ½” ,  made out of oak with a unicorn hair. On the right side of the wand, (Well, that is depending on how you hold it)  the Darknight family name is inscribed in Latin.
 


Physical Description: Emmy is around 5ft 3”, and weighs 125 pounds. She received most of her looks from her father’s side of the family. These include medium raven black hair that cascades about her shoulders in soft spirals when not straightened; chocolate brown eyes that are set not to far apart from one another ; and a small button nose.  Emmy has a bright smile, dimples included.  
Emmy’s never had much in the chest department, and never really cared to have one having more of an athletic build.  She has somewhat of an hourglass figure, and long legs. Emmy has attached ears, something along with her small chest, that she received from her mothers side, and each ear has been pierced twice. As for teenage acne, Emmy has never had to much of a problem with it, unless she was under serious stress.


Personality Description: Known for her quick wit, and imagination, Emmy is a bright and easy going teen. Unlike her mother’s slight tendency to be a pushover, Emmy is forceful in her beliefs. She enjoys being a leader, and taking charge of messy situations.
There was a short period when Emmy went through a shy stage, but it didn’t last very long. Being a very social person, Emmy will talk with anyone who is willing.
 Like both her mother and her father Emmy enjoys art, and learning about different cultures. With Emmy, things are black and white, with a few exceptions in-between. Either something is acceptably right or wrong with her, brining about her very opinionated side.
Emmy has many qualities of a fun loving teen, and some that are more mature than your average teen. She can hold a point, but sometimes has a tendency to get off subject. She loves a good debate and will argue her point until the other person either gives up or accepts it. She enjoys going to class, and making new friends, which isn’t to hard for her. Emmy is definitely not a shy person, and can be the life of a party if she so chooses to be.
One could call her a trend hater. Emmy enjoys dressing outside the trends, and dose so according to her mood. She’s a strong supporter of music, and enjoys listening to anything from classical to rock. All in all she views herself as a pretty well rounded child, with creativity to match. Emmy is very proud of her run-away imagination, and is not afraid to admit that she indulges in the casual conversation with herself.
To add onto all of her good social traits, Emmy has the tendency, when in a bad mood, to be overly sarcastic and crude. She’s not always aware of it, and on those days she’d rather be alone, or not in class.



History: Victor and Hellen Darknight brought a bouncing baby girl into the world on October 9th 1992, at 8:41 a.m. to be exact. She was to be named after her great grandmother Emmy Michelle Darknight. Her entry into this world was not and easy one, due to the fact of some minor complications during delivery.

Emmy’s parents as well as her eldest brother George, the acting family outcast, were raised as witch and wizards. She is a halfblood from her mothers side; her grandfather George Randowin was a muggle.

Emmy will be the third family member to attend Hogwarts, following in her older brothers footsteps. Her second brother Gregor is a Squib, and was attending a muggle Jr. High around the time of Emmy’s birth, as her eldest brother George was just finishing up school at Hogwarts.

Emmy was raised in Manchester, England, along with two Great Danes, and a black cat named Tony. She was raised by both parents, often going with them on their Archaeological expeditions. This lasted until Emmy was eleven, when her acceptance into Hogwarts was made clear through owl post. Her family was overjoyed, even though Emmy was more or less happy about the situation. Going so far away from her family wasn’t something she looked forward to doing.
So her first year came and went, and once Emmy turned twelve her brothers were well on their way to college. George was out of the house and in a wizarding college some where far off, and Gergor was considering Harvard University in the U.S.

As previously hinted at, Emmy’s first years at Hogwarts were shy ones. She tended to stay to herself, and kept hold to the close relationship she had with her older brother Gergor. Not long after, probably around the middle of her third year, she finally showed the true side of her astrological sign, and was quickly noticed as the type to lead others. One particular incident was when she was in Herbology and her group was in chaos, something had gone terribly wrong. So, Emmy toughed up enough to take charge of the project and give everyone jobs, that were evenly spread out. In the end the group ended up with get decent grade.  
 
Emmy’s third year was more eventful. A few pranks here and there, and the occasional game of Quidditch. Her brother George was now considering working for the Ministry of Magic, and Gregor was on his way to becoming a doctor. Emmy had to admit going home to just mom and dad (who were hardly there themselves) was an awkward feeling. The good news was that she was able to visit both of her brothers, and got a good look at an interesting archaeological dig her mother was heading in Egypt at the time.  Emmy kept in good contact with her friends and some very interesting plans to hashed out for the new coming year were made.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Emmy has always been polite, audacious, and brave. Never giving up, or in to easily, and always standing up for the little guy. Even though Emmy has the tendency to be the occasional mischief maker, she’s also much more (I.E a closet over achiever). Emmy brings a lot to the table and is always there to stand up for a friend. She loves to lead, and is never afraid of a challenge. Putting everything she’s got, into anything she does is what makes her right for Gryffindor.  



Writing Sample:
Sighing heavily ,Emmy made her way through the blistering heat and onto the sandy beaches of her imagination.  How much longer can this day drag on.. Emmy brooded coming in and out of reality.
Needless to say she was on pins and needles waiting her mother's birthday bash verdict. It was rather suckish that she was missing the big four o. Sadly there was no way around things the most she could do was to sit and endure the Herbology lesson of the day.
Herbology had always been one of her better subjects, but she just couldn't wrap her brain around the days lesson. Instead of attempting to take better notes her hand drifted over to the note she'd found slipped under her pillow earlier in the day.
Meet Me By Your Favorite Spot The words rolled and lolly gagged their way around her brain. Suspecting trickery Emmy still enjoyed the idea of the mystery behind the note.  

Giving up as class was dismissed she realized that no time had even been specified on the note. "Great.." she mumbled heading towards the door, book bag slung across her left shoulder, and a pile of books tightly secured in her right arm, she looked and felt ruffled. It wasn't long before one of Emmy's friends took notice of her bothered state.

"Hey Emmy, what’s wrong?"  her friend asked patting her on the shoulder like he always did.

"Nothing, just not all here today.. I s'pose." She replied with an unconvincing smile before adding. "Just another day at Hogwarts.."

"Ha.. You said it." he replied nuding her with his elbow "Say, how about you and me go have some fun?"

Emmy noticed the mischevious glint in his eyes as she looked up at him "You are something else." she replied with a laugh before adding "Sure. I have nothing to lose."


Sum up your character in one paragraph: Emmy is fun loving, and out going. However, she almost has a sort of duel personality. When she is upset her mood turns quiet and crude. Besides her up and down mannerisms (teenager much?) she's opinionated and forceful.
