Physical Description: Luc is caucasion and is generally tan from being outside quite a bit. He is about six feet tall and athletic. It is not surprising to see him sporting facial hair most of the time, which only seems to serve in making him look older and sort of roguish even though it is mostly just his laziness on the subject. He's not completely unaware of what he looks like either.

He is built more like a football player (soccer), but years of playing the beater position as left him more broad shouldered. He has medium brown hair that has recently come to have a more stylish cut then this time last year, but it's still kept fairly short. Blue eyes hinting over to gray depending on what he wears that day.

His style of dress is mostly casual, but he's more then capable of turning around and having a transformation. Dark jeans and a wide array of t-shirts for most days, work out clothes and, sweats and hoodies for others. When the occasion does arise, he cleans up rather nicely. Button downs and slacks suit most occasions and he has a few suits of the black variety if the situation requires.

Personality Description: There's more then meets the eye with Lucas Norwood. Often viewed as a charmer with a powerfully charismatic smile, a darker side lurks not far behind.

For one Luc's been in denial of his ADD for years. He likes to believe he just has a tendency to get bored and self medicates with attempting to keep himself as busy as possible. If left to his own devices, he'll more then likely start making random comments that make no sense to the given conversation or drawing pages and pages of ideas for quidditch strategies.

Lucas is a natural athlete, it gives him something to keep focused on when in between projects. Working out helps him clear the overcrowding going on in his head. He's not the best at talking about his problems and tends to deflect inquiries. He's a bit of a master at changing the subject and will get defensive in a hurry. The anger holding deep down doesn't erupt often, but Luc can seethe and brood with the best of them.

Though pretty faces are something fun to look at, he is a guy after all, Luc can be particular. He takes a while getting to know someone, as he doesn't like fake people or arrogant know-it-alls. This stems from his insecurity about believing himself not being as smart as he seems as well as knowing a great deal about a good number of things already. When Luc falls though, he pretty much falls really hard. Guys he doesn't trust he just does not like around his girlfriends. Sometimes he can be seen as possessive, though he tries to work on this. While at times Luc can seem a bit of a jerk to those he has no invested interest in, he's insanely protective of those he truly cares for. He does not like seeing the people he loves hurt, even if they brought it on themselves. Close friends, but especially his sister fall into this category.

History: Lucas was born ten minutes before his twin sister Alice to a mixed blood household. He grew up in a mostly muggle environment, but his mother kept them well aware of her heritage. He gained his father's memory ability, though the things he keeps logged in his brain are very random. Everything from Quidditch stats to History of Magic (though he despised the subject) From his mother, he gained her diagnostic capabilities and her pension for healing. Though he is a great deal better with animals then humans on many levels.

Because he was the "oldest" and his parents were often busy with work related tasks, he was often put "in charge". Whether this is actually the case or simply something that formed out of dividing the sibling roles, he can't really remember, but they play their parts well. He plays the older over-protective jock brother and she does her part by being the flighty, flirty, younger sister. Alice was always good at relating to people on a personal level. Quick to smile and quick to befriend, her naivity can get her in trouble, and when they were younger Lucas tried to keep her grounded as best he could. His problem solving skills kept him pretty sane with her as a sister.

While his sister is seen as a ditzy blonde, he is often relegated to be the more logical sibling. He is more quiet and thoughtful on his actions. Alice is smarter then she looks, and Lucas is not as smart as he seems. In the classroom this is the most obvious, and having a teacher for a father doesn't help matters. Despite the appearance of not paying attention to a lesson, because of his good memory he was able to function in class if called upon. He used to irk his teachers by not bothering with homework, but pulling out amazing test scores. Lucas is a natural athlete, it gives him something to keep focused on when in between projects.

While close throughout childhood, the siblings began to separate about the time they got their Hogwarts letters. She was becoming increasingly more interested in spending time with friends and noticing boys (innocent crushes) and he was developing his own interests. This was compounded more when they ended up in separate houses and now they don't interact very much at all while at school. He still looks out for her, of course, but he has other things to keep him occupied and not always jock related. In particular: Girls.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Luc is a problem solver plain and simple.  He uses his knowledge on a subject, and maybe a bit of ingenuity to fix whatever the issue is at hand.  His passion for learning is quite obvious as he can often be found in a mound of books and papers.  Granted, his tastes aren't conventional ranging from learning how to build his own broom to Advanced Potions.

Lucas Norwood couldn't help but think of his father as Arthur led him around the Magical Institute of Los Angeles. Couldn't help but wonder what he'd have to say when Luc called him later to announce that he'd be going back to school soon enough. Obviously, it be later then Richard would have liked, but at least it was going to get done. Better late then never, Luc would tell him... as was par for the course for them. Father and son didn't relate on much, most days. Not since he was a kid really. Richard was a muggle, and no matter how much Lucas been raised amongst muggles, it didn't change the fact that he wasn't one. Sure, his magic could be better, but that was besides the point. The things he could do, he did bloody well at that.

Beyond his marketable skills in all things relating to quidditch, Luc also excelled in Care of Magical Creatures. It been his degree to begin with and once upon a time imagined himself a magical vet. Luc never lacked for big ideas or dreams... No, the problem came in executing them. Much like most things in his life that failed to launch the way they should have, the first time he'd started university had been a bust. In his defense, the offer to play full time for a minor league team seemed too good an offer to turn down. Apparently, that might not have been the wisest decision to date.

For what it was worth, going back to school did give him a constructive project to occupy him. One that didn't involve women and women troubles, or trying to make relationships work when everything made it so hard to do so. The press was never going to stop and while on the one hand, he should develop a thicker skin... on the other, this wasn't the kind of game he could play, or even play well. No, for the time, it be best to lay off Eudoxia, even if he didn't want to. Even if he cared about her, even if he wanted to be with her, even if... well... It was more selfish in the end, to keep doing to her what Sky done to him.

"Yeah," he nodded, coming back to the conversation at hand, looking around some. "I can get into this,"he started off handedly, but blue gray eyes landed on a blonde parking on a nearby bench. "Of course," the sarcasm as automatic as the urge to both give her a hard shake and shout at her for good measure. "Thanks," he tossed a distracted and apologetic smile to Arthur as the younger man excused himself. "I'll ring you later." Now came the moment of truth. Where he could turn and walk away and pretend she no longer existed, or go talk to her... and hopefully not get into a public screaming match this time around.

Decisions, decisions.

In theory, he couldn't avoid her forever. Not if she and Odette were becoming friendly again. Ignoring her now was just delaying the inevitable."Hey you," he started out, coming over to her. His tone neutral, but the greeting ingrained as his own manner of speaking now. The last time they'd seen one another been abrupt and annoying. Mostly because he'd walked in on Sky telling Odette to not tell him something and then left in the next breath.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: He might not be traditionally book smart, but Lucas is by no means a dumb jock.  His grades are mediocre due to his inability to stay focused, but he's got no problem taking something apart and putting it back together again in no time flat.  As a typical teenage boy, most of his mental energy goes to girls and sports, but he's got a strong passion for Care of Magical Creatures too.  Soon enough he'll have to figure out what to do with himself, but that's far enough away he's not too concerned.

What Experience has Prepared You For This Honor?: While some might say it's in the blood with both his Aunt as a professional coach and his cousin Dean with a fledgling career, Luc comes by his experience honestly.  As a first year, he didn't make the team, but that didn't stop him trying out again the next year.  By now it wasn't just a matter of personal pride, but also a competition.  If Odette, his cousin, made the Gryffindor team, he certainly would not mess up his trial for the Ravenclaw spot. 

He might not have seen much airtime second year, but he made the team just the same.  It's now his sixth year and he's certainly not hugging the benches anymore, but his dedication hasn't waned in the years either.   While Luc is a natural athlete, his real gift comes in deconstructing the game and understanding how to make it work best.  Plays and player stats litter both his sketch books and his school notes. 
What Do You Think the Most Important Aspect of This Job Is:? Constant Vigilance! Ahem. It's not all heavy hitters and fast fliers, it's about knowing potential when you see it and being able to tap it.  You have to know what you're doing and know how to make it happen with other people and that takes skill, but it also takes dedication.  Lucas is nothing if not dedicated to the sport.  With the bulk of the team having graduated, Luc is looking to set up the Ravenclaws for success and now is the time to build a team to last long after he's left as well.
Tell a Story From Your Past That Has Proven Your Mettle:  [An excerpt from Don't Know Nothing

Harper certainly fit the Seeker mold and Luc took note to remember the detail.  No one would could ever accuse Luc of being small and light by any stretch of the imagination.  Puberty not been unkind, once the initial onslaught taken it's awkward toll.  After the cracked voice and spots, it left him close to six foot, if not at that point already and decently broad shouldered.  Besides all that, he'd much rather be in the thick of the game then flying after a small golden ball.  Seekers got the glory, but the rest of the team could make or break the game.  With enough points from an excellent set up, it wouldn't matter if the other team got the snitch or not.

Obviously he knew brooms, Harper said, and the comment made him shift a bit. 

"It's a bit of a mess right now, my alignment's off here, and I'm shite with perspective," most of this self deprecation was a means to not seem full of himself as he was quite proud of his work thus far.   In response to Harper's question on the other hand...  "I play Chaser, but I'm eyein' beater next year when a spot's open. I do more plays then anything."

Luc plucked out his leather bound journal and handed it to the other boy to see.  Luc loved Quidditch for the same reason he loved running or staying active as a whole, it gave him something to concentrate on.  At times his mind could betray him, and things end up warped and fuzzy, until finally he didn't know which way was up anymore.  Being physical kept him streamlined and focused for the rest of his life.  That and keeping a project on hand did wonders for his personal life.  This was his project for the moment, though with O.W.L.s on the rise, he should probably rethink this at some point.   

Except...

"Bloody homework," he muttered much more to himself then for Harper's benefit.  "Why's it got be such a huge percentage anyway?"  An O on his Care of Magical Creatures exam would do him little good without Herbology and Potions to back up his plan to be a Magical Veterinarian one day.  Or something in Quidditch, he wasn't terribly picky.  "What you looking for anyway, maybe I can help?"
