Physical Description: Berkeley is a slight slender woman with not much in the way f physical 'assets'. Standing only 5'2" she's easily over looked. Bright blue eyes shine out of a pale complexion, matched with wavy platinum blonde hair Berkeley is often referred to a porcelain doll. When not clad in her red robes Berkeley is often seen in classical dresses and rarely if ever wears pants. She has a penchant for heels as they make her look taller than she actually is and has taken to wearing comfortable and practical heeled boots at work.

Personality Description: Berkeley is a quiet and well tempered young woman. She's very polite and never speaks unless spoken to. She has often been referred to as the modern day victorian woman. She's highly responsible and doesn't mind being in charge. While her job often puts her in difficult situations, Berkeley remains cool under fire and has no qualms about jumping into action when the need arises.

Due to her small stature and her modest behaviour Berkeley is often overlooked by her fellow Arurors. It;s hard to imagine the small woman as being powerful (Despite how powerful everyone knows Tamis is) Unfortunately due to this Berkeley finds herself doing favours for others that she doesn't entirely want to do but can at times be too polite to refuse. Being a whiz at paperwork Berkerley tends to find herself helping others catch up on filing they can't find the time to finish themselves.

Berkeley is a perfectionist to a fault. Her desk is always kept in impeccable condition and her reports are always neat and legiable. Chaos in a controlled environment is something that Berkeley can't stand. She often finds herself politely reminded others to tidy up after themselves. She accepts that out in the field chaos is to be expected by once she gets back to her comfort zone (the office or her apartment) everything needs to be in it's proper place. There have been times when fellow Auror's have purposely rearranged her desk just to watch her fuss until everything is back to normal.

Not being an assertive person when not chasing down criminals Berkerley finds it hard to make friends and even harder to indulge in a romantic life. She tends to keep to herself when not on a case keeping up relationships with family members instead. Everyone in her family had expected Berkeley to settle down early and start a family, an old arguement that often resurfaces whenever she's in the room with more than one family member. No one ever expected her to become an Auror.

Berkeley has a strong sense of honour and duty. She follows the rules and the law to a T believing there is no room for bending or leeway. This has at times caused trouble between her and other Magical Enforcement agents. Berkeley cannot condone those that get their man by any means possible and has on more than one occasion reported a fellow Auror for stepping over the line regardless of whether their quarry was caught or not.

History: Catherine Wentworth was married to Kevin Cavanaugh shortly after the pair began dating during their training at the Auror Academy. Kevin came from a prominent Pureblooded family that was famous for producing outstanding Aurors. While the pair had known each other while attending Hogwarts the didn't become a couple until years later. Catherine gave birth to their first Daughter not long after they graduated from the Academy.

Berkeley was well taken care of baby. Although both her parents were fresh out of Auror Academy and about to face numerous dangers on a regular basis they spent as much time as they could with her. When her parents were unavailable Berkerley was taken care of by numerous nanies and tutors all paid by the wealth of the Wentworth family.

As was expected of her Berkeley showed magical talent at a young age and took to earning like a fish to water. She was a very bright young girl that had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. By the time she reached Hogwarts age she was already well beyond what was expected of her. Sorted into Ravenclaw Berkeley was a perfect match for her house.

Although she was smart and excelled in almost every subject Berkeley was withdrawn and wasn't able to make friends. She wasn't a boastful or arrogant girl but she was smart and seemed to be smarter than most of her peers which made it hard for her to relate to them. Berkeley had come to Hogwarts the year of the Tri Wizard cup and while her fellow students were excited about the challenges the champions faced Berkeley had taken th time to get to know a few of the exchange students that were sharing the castle for the year. Many saw her as an endearing little sister type and due to her quiet and unimposing nature she was often allowed to be near them when they studied and carried out their everyday activities.

After her first year with all the exctiement of the Tri Wizard tournament gone, Berkerly found it even harder to relate to her fellow students. At least with the tournament she had something to talk to everyone about. Her second year passed without consequence and by her third year Berkeley simply stopped trying to make friends. It was easier for her to focus on her studies. She was never rude to those arround her just found it easier to keep to herself.

Berkeley's quiet demeanor served her well in her fourth year as the school was run by Headmaster Snape and many death eaters had been giving positions on the faculty. She steered clear of any trouble and refused to join any kind of rebellion the older students were forming. Her parents were out constantly fighting against the growing threat of a second war, her younger siblings were shipped off to Autralia to spend time with distant relatives, all the while Berkeley kept her head down.

The end of that school year would prove to be the most tumultuous experience of Berkeley's life. Not yet of age Berkeley was rushed out of the castle and waited in Hogs Head with a heavy heart. She knew full well that the Second War had come to it's peak and that her mother, father, grandmother and many of her uncles would be facing countless threats from death eaters, giants and werewolves alike. In the aftermath, as Voldermort was declared dead and his followers dispersed Berkeley's family was torn apart. Many of her uncle's were injured, her father had been attacked by a werewolf and would now carry the curse for the rest of his life and her mother and Grandmother had been killed.

Kevin retired as an Auror and resolved to stay home and raise his other two children not yet of age to go to Hogwarts. When she returned to school Berkeley became even more determined to succeed in all her subjects. While many of her family suspected that being so intelligent she would take up a career as a Professor or work in the Ministry, likley within the Department of Mysteries Berkeley had something else in mind.

She pushed herself to her limits making sure that she excelled in all the subjects that were needed to qualify for Auror training. Even with the death of her mother and the condition her father was in Berkeley had a single minded goal. She was going to prove herself to be an excellent Auror just like her mother, she was going to do her family name proud.

Berkeley applied for Auror training almost the instant she graduated from Hogwarts. Although her grades were spectacular her physique and her modest behaviour were constantly called into question. She proved herself time and time again throughout hr three years at the Academy but no one ever seemed to take her seriously. She was just too mousy and small, and shy to be seen as a badass Auror.

Despite the non believers Berkeley graduated fromt he Academy with flying colours and was taken into the proud ranks of the Auror Corps. Since then she had been striving to do her best, follow the law and bring justice to the Wizarding world. However Berkeley still often gets overlooked and more often than not is seen filing paperwork than out in the field despite her abilities.


Describe your job duties and how you go about them: Berkeley is an Auror, charged with upholding the law of the Wizarding World., beinging in dark wizards but also tracking down petty criminals. Berkeley is particularily adept at the leg work part of the job, collecting evidence, interrogating suspects, putting the pieces together and filing the necessary paperwork. Many of the underappreciated jobs at the Corps are the ones that Berkeley does exceptionally well. Not to say that she can't use her wand in a good duel when the time comes but she's more of a behind the scenes Auror leaving the fame and glory to the others. With justice upheld, she's a happy Auror.

Elaborate on your expertise in your field: Berkeley excelled in her three years at the Auror Academy, doing exceptional well in Stealth and Tracking, Concealment and Disguise and Magical law. In school Berkeley received O's in Defense Against The Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Charms and Potions all at a NEWT level which had made her an ideal candidate for Auror Training.

Out in the field Berkeley is calm, cool and collecting always thinking with a level head and able to act swiftly and efficiently under fire. While she tries to avoid confrontation at all costs Berkeley is well practiced if she has to duel.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Berkeley and a small and unassuming woman, the kind you would expect to be a homemaker or a librarian. No one, not even her family expected her to become an Auror. She strives to be the best she can be and is a complete perfectionist to the point of almost throwing a fit if things aren't in their proper place. She has a hard time relating to others and often keeps to herself. though she rarely turns down a fellow Auror if they need a favour from her which often leaves her writing up left ove paperowrk the others haven't had time to file. Berkeley is often overlooked and easily fades into the background but she's a damn good Auror and she'll let you know if you ever challenge her.
