Personality Description: Vulpes is possibly one of the strangest boys you will ever meet. He almost always has a calm smile on his face, whether or not the situation calls for it. He is kind, and rarely gets angry. The only thing that really sets him off is blood purists, and when they treat others poorly because of their blood status.

Often, he is seen laying out on the grass, or upside down on a bench day dreaming. This occasionally gets him into trouble, as he often dozes off in class, or just completely zones out. He is rather bright, but also incredibly naive, leading him to be much to trusting of others. When tricked into doing something that inadvertently harms others, Vulpes always becomes very depressed for a few days after realizing what he has done.

Though he will talk someones ear off if given the opportunity, Vulpes is very shy, leading to him to have very few friends.

While he hates to admit it, he is slightly depressed and can be quick to anger. He genuinely believes that what enables him to stay calm throughout everything if the fact that he can, both literally and figuratively, tune it all out.

Vulpes is a very caring older brother, but is often rather stern with Cytherea. He hates seeing her get into fights and is often concerned that one day she'll get into a fight she can't finish, and he won't be there to bail her out. Often he will drag her away from any conflict he sees her in or about to get in, and will scold her for being so careless.

History: Born in Brighton, Vulpes often spent his youth down by the sea shores. He would play in the cold water and build sand castles, never batting an eye when the waves destroyed them; he simply would come up with more interesting ways to prolong their destruction.

Always the curious boy, he would often pester his parents, aunts, uncles, and anyone else who would answer him until they lost all patience and told him to stop asking so many questions. Not even this could damper his spirits however, and from the moment he could read he found himself nose deep in a book about charms.

When he was around the age of eight he discovered classical music such as Bach, and Mozart, Beethoven, and Pachelbel. From that point on he often begged his parents for records of their work, and finally, when he was ten, his parents acquired a pair of large, colorful,  headphones that were enchanted to play classical music. He would carry these where ever he went, as Vulpes used them as a sort of placebo.

During his first year he was, surprisingly, placed in Slytherin. This came as great shock to his family, who had expected him to be in Ravenclaw, like both his parents, and much of his mothers side of the family.

Due to his odd behavior, he was often teased and ridiculed by the other members of his house throughout his first year; something he never seemed to notice as he hopped from class to class.

By his third year, Vulpes had all but fallen into the background, most people losing interest in trying to pick on him as he never gave any sort of reaction. For this year he opted to take Ancient Runes - finding the subject very interesting - and Muggle Studies, as he was always curious about their daily lives.

While rather bright, he does not do overly well in Potions, Herbology, and Astronomy - The fist because he haphazardly ignores instructions, the second because when he is outside in nice weather he just completely zones out, and the third because he forgets he's in class and simply stargazes.

During his fifth year Vulpes began making real friends for the very first time. Something he had always hoped to do, but was never quite sure how to go about it.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Currently, Vulpes being in Slytherin is a topic of much discussion for his family. No one seems to understand why he was placed there. There is some speculation that he wanted to be placed in a different house, just to see what it would be like.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Vulpes is very much the odd one out. He doesn't seem to fit well within his own house, and most think he should be in Ravenclaw. Kind by nature, Vulpes, almost never becomes angry, and takes everything with a calm smile. He is, however, also very naive, sometimes leading him to be tricked into doing silly, even dangerous things.
