A lone man stands in the middle of Hogsmeade. He wears a typical black wizard's cloak, simple yet more expensive than the average travelers cloak. Under the cloak is a red uniform and an enchanted badge that shows he is a member of the Auror Corps. His clothes, especially his black cloak, seem to hang of his frail frame of the man who well over 6''. His hair was combed backwards and his face was gaunt. It seemed like the man had lost far too much weight or that he had suffered some sort of wasting disease. But Honorius had always been like that - even in Hogwarts.
The castle was visible in the night's sky, each window illuminated by candles. Honorius gazed up towards it and felt an unfamiliar pang in his stomach. It was nostalgia. A longing for a simpler time, when all he had to worry about was exams. When his entire life was ahead of him. However his face remained as stoic and controlled as ever. Emotion was sign of weakness. A fault in ones armour that any thug could exploit and that allows a skilled wizard to break into ones mind. Honorius rarely let his emotions control him and he decided to leave the street as quickly as possible.
The Auror headed for a bar. He was not a big drinker but he occasionally enjoyed an expensive drink now and then. The peaceful stillness of the street was a stark contrast to the Three Broomsticks. It was a raucous place full of men and woman of disrepute. Honorius sighed at the state of the Wizarding World. His family would never act this way. They had manners and a name to stand up to. As Honorius took a seat a rather over weight bar tender, dressed in a purple dress, was carrying a large tray full of Firewiskey. She seemed to be in her mid 30s and wore large amounts of make up. As she approached the table beside Honorius she tripped. In the split second that it took for the bottles to fall from the tray Honorius decided he didn't want to deal with any more noise so he caught the bottles with his wand and placed them back on the tray.
Happily no one noticed who had done it and he was able to continue sitting in, relative, peace. He then noticed that every other seat was full. If another patron entered they would have to sit next to him.
