Rufus looked groggily up at the clock on the wall  inside his office - five thirty in the evening. This day had already been more than busy than what he had anticipated. Paddy had contacted him numerous timesthroughout the day - it was mainly inquiries on the Man U game & if it was gonna be on when they played against Portsmouth as well as if the mead was in yet. Rufus assured his co-owner a final yes before taking a nap, the very nap he was waking up from.

He stood up, looking at his outfit, soon going to brush his teeth and straightening out the wrinkles on his clothes. Within minutes, Rufus was heading downstairs after locking the office up & dropping by the bar area. "Irish coffee, extra shot of coffee & liquid courage," Rufus chirped, a grin on his face as he slowly began talking to his wizarding patrons.

Unbeknownst to him and the generally heavy male populace, the occasional lady was about to grace Rover's Fancy this very evening.

Going from pub to pub with Jasmine and Flora, two band members who enjoyed flirting almost as much as she did. But Jasmine was more interested in getting a drink than finding good company.

Naila was having a fabulous time out with two of her more outgoing band members, Jasmine and Flora. Having lost Shela sometime earlier in the day, they took to finding perfect places to waste away their free time, when they had it. But their differing wants and needs were probably going to separate them come nightfall: Jasmine needed beer, Flora wanted to gamble, and Naila wanted a man. They allowed themselves to suffer from these addictions in a never-ending cycle of love and hate, and they doubted today would be any different.

As the three witches made their way into a quaint Irish establishment, Jasmine shot for a far corner of the bar, Flora sauntered towards a wizard's poker game, and Naila strutted to another part of the bar where she saw a very tall and attractive man.

Like it was her seat all along, the blond half-veela slipped between a few men and hopped her pert butt onto the bar and swiped up the man's drink, and sniffed it.

"Coffee? Really?" she asked with a jesting smile as her blue gaze settled on him from over mug, "Did you just decide to wake up, dear?" she wrapped her fingers around the cup and took a delicate sip of the hot drink keeping her eyes trained on the man simultaneously crossing her long legs and throwing up a heel in front of the face of a snooping wizard she caught in her periphery lingering dangerously close to the folds of her skirt. At the sudden change of scenery, the poor fool jumped back into his seat and rolled off onto the floor.

Rufus and his hand were going for his beverage when a well slicked feminine voice and their equally matched hand snatched his beverage. His chocolate eyes met her blue ones, his lips smirking as he surveyed the oaf on the floor as well as Naila's choice in clothing. "Aye, maybe...what's it to you, querida? It seems you are quite enjoying my wake up call," he responded in his heavy Spanish tones, silky enough for someone to slip on.

"Nice choice in clothing, by the way, but this is an Irish pub - if you wanted to impress us, St. Paddy's was last month & Spellpunk is down the road, oui? Now, might I have my drink back and maybe I could interest you in a more private setting, one where you won't have to worry about Brother Lewis (the man grunted) looking up you?"

Sure, Rufus was being slightly jerkish but hey, surely Naila could play back? If not, he would apologize and be courteous. It was the very least he could do, right?

Naila gave a short hum as her eyebrows bobbed on her head and she swiped out her wand. She tapped the coffee, cooling it off and then shot it down her throat in a gulp, before setting the empty cup back in front of the well-spoken wizard,

A smile pierced her lips and she arched a challenging brow at the man, "I am a big girl, dear."

Then with her hands posed on her knees she sighed and looked around the pub, pouting behind her wavy blond locks, "If only the young and wild can tout around long legs and a cute skirt in your presence then--" her voice dipped with a husk as she narrowed a sultry on the wizard, "--I'd hate to see what sort of stuffy women you tend to keep in your company."

"Stuffy women? Here at Rover's Fancy? Only happens when they're tired of dealing with their employeers, Ministry, Quidditch and all. Same goes for stuffy men, I'm afraid," he said in response to that statement, his grin all jackal'd like once more as Rufus looked on at Naila.

"However that may be, I could offer you that nice retreat from the noise, let you try some of my meals and drinks on the house, querida...your decision is my wish and command."

Lewis grunted, asking when would he get an opportunity to get a free meal; Rufus grinned devilishly. "When you act like a good little boy and not a drunkard." Lewis spat off a stream of curse words that ended with calling Rufus a smartass.

Rufus kept his gaze towards Naila. "What say you? I'll lead the way," he said, soon departing with another refilled Irish coffee in his hands as he began to walk off towards the private lounge in the pub. Whether the lady wished to follow, that was now her choice.

Curiosity, experimenting, and scandals were all things Naila thrived on when she took the lead and had things go at her own pace, but she had neither advantage in this situation. If she weren't in such a playful mood, (or possibly knew him better,) she'd of hexed of him by now, but she had it in her heart to forgive him. "Oh picking on drunkards in a pub," she criticized with a sympathetic hum, "You are a horrible man, he isn't even properly drunk yet."

A pop and flash of apparition later and the tall blond stood in front of the dashing wizard, drumming her fingertips on the collar of his shirt, "Really, stealing me away so soon, love?" She shook her hair over her face as she turned away from him with a chiding stare and wickedly white smile, "Tell me do you make a career of being a charmer," she braced a slim open palm on her shoulder for the man to take, "or were you just born a cheeky devil?"
