    Networks and Network Templates

    Character Networks

    About
    A network, also called a "Plot Page", is a list of characters and their relationship with your character. Generally they include the basic set up of "Friends, Enemies and Lovers", but can encompass much more.  They're great for character development and drumming up new plots.

    Guidelines and Suggestions
    • Don't use networks to replace role-playing. Please use light colors and web-safe fonts.

    • Don't be afraid to add or move people around if the relationship changes.

    • Keep in mind that some people do not wish to make networks, or post in them, but that doesn't mean your character doesn't have a relationship with them. Feel free to update the relationship in your network so others can see it.

    • List your character's attributes as a quick reference for others to get an idea about your character.

    Your Profile
    You can link your Network in your character's account. To do this, go to the 'Profile' tab at the top of the site, click 'modify profile', then 'forum profile'.   At the bottom of the page are places to link to important threads about your character.  Save and you're set!

    Add to the Cast of Characters
    We can add a notation by your character's name on the Cast of Characters.  Visit this thread to get it added!

    Network Templates
    Below, you can find examples of Networks to post in your member board! Using these is completely optional and just for reference and ideas. You don't have to stick to the code or the colors; feel free to modify your network as much or as little as you want.

    If you'd like to submit a network template, please format it and post it as a reply to this thread, and include a code at the bottom!
