Knox Greyfriar awakens in a holding cell, where Hannah Bombay informs him he'd hunted the werewolf hunter last night (and one unlucky student). The news does not go over well. Molly Pratt attempts to convince Griffon Manley that her unregistered werewolf brother, Frank, is innocent and should be released. At St. Mungo's, two victims of the attacks argue in a hospital room, and little is resolved between them. A distraught Olivia Foley seeks help from her former Headmaster, horrified by what she could have done to Sasha in werewolf form.Some revel in others' pain, however, and proceed to kick the Ministry while its down. Dugan MacDuff kidnaps Colin, a fellow werewolf, and attempts to enlighten him in the ways of maiming and killing (and drinking). He also scares Margo Amherst badly enough to cause her to seek refuge from one grumpy (as always) Kurby Bagnold. And he corners Eddie and Jonas in a muggle pub, dangling threats and staying just out of the Aurors' reach.Life pushes on when Quincy has her baby (Eddie offers support with a flobberworm plushie) and Level Two celebrates Archer Radley's birthday (much to his dismay). Liadán Ó Móráin answers the door for a date with Vedir Prideaux, only to see two men waiting for her. There are worse things, we suppose *wink wink*! In an attempt to find out more about Azorma Hyskos' assassination attempt, Maggie Groust tracks down Jonas and finds him in a very foul mood, which leads to her arrest and a glaring match in the interrogation room. Groust, in a show of impressive bullheadedness, ignores her surroundings and continues peppering him with questions. She may get somewhere yet!Speaking of the Runespoor case, Tapendra Trishna seeks advice from Ignan after Jonas comes 'round asking about his mother, Hyskos. Also at Hogwarts, Declan Ó Móráin holds the first meeting for his new Wizarding Heritage club, where he experiences the joy that is dealing with first-years. We applaud his persistence if he attempts a second meeting. Outside of Hogwarts during the spring holiday, Dion Fayette meets with Fauna to discuss the state of SAWS over tea. Though conflicted, Fauna agrees to at least consider picking things up again in the next month or so. In other school news, Mairead and Erik work on a project for Astronomy, Tulo and Ignan discuss staff and their futures at Hogwarts, and Edmund faces the music from Lou.Absit Omen NewsStaff Changes:Assistant Curator Penny (Ferguson Amherst) has decided to step down from her role. We've been so happy to have Penny serving in this post and her input and dedication have been invaluable! Thank you, Penny! We hope you'll enjoy experiencing AO as a member again - life happens and we're glad you're taking care of your AO self!Also, Curator Erika (Grace Eddy) is stepping down to Assistant Curator. Erika's a great staffer and we're happy to have her help in whatever way we can.
