Dugan was bored. He had spent a large chunk of his morning tailing that pretty little witch he'd had some fun with a couple of weeks ago. One leg or no- she was gorgeous, and he liked watching her walk. But it was hard to stalk someone without getting caught, and it had seemed to him that she was beginning to catch wind of something being amiss. One too many looks over her shoulder, so he had decided to find his way back to his dingy old flat in Knockturn.
It was a shame he had to stay there. He wished he had a nicer place. Dugan supposed he could find a nicer one if he tried- but considering he now spent one day a month in an entirely primal state, it wasn't worth it. He'd just trash it and have to repair it.
But that didn't fix the fact he was bored. Dugan had been laying low (mostly) since he'd attacked Diagon and muggle London. He wasn't sure if they had any idea he was behind it, and it was easier to stay hidden. But it seemed that they had no idea who the wolves were, or what they were. Direwolves, hmph, they didn't know the half of it. It was certainly more fun and much easier to wreak havoc in a bestial form, but he liked doing it in his standard form, too.
And he was good at wreaking havoc. It was one of his many skills that his cousin was good at putting to use. Especially with what Dugan had started to plan. Well, kind of plan. Cináed's whole gripe was with the ministry- and he'd offered to just kill them all. He figured it wouldn't be too hard. Cináed had told him to have fun with it- and he'd started doing his research.
Ackerly Fox hated werewolves more than anyone else. There had been a big stink about it not too long ago, and since Dugan embraced his wolf side, he had decided that was where he'd start. But, since Dugan enjoyed inflicting pain and wasn't sure he wanted to go head on with an auror (he wasn't sure his skills were that great, after all) he'd decided to hit them where it hurt. Where it hurt Fox most was his muggle ex-wife and his kids.
Unfortunately, the kids were at Hogwarts.
So he found his way to the outskirts of muggle London to the home he knew the auror's ex-wife lived in with her new husband. How did he know this? Well, Dugan knew how to ask the right questions and there were those Witch Weekly articles about the guy. Wasn't hard to find who you were looking for. Especially not for a guy like Dugan.
Wand in hand, he knocked loudly on the front door. It wasn't long before he could hear footsteps inside, giggling, and a woman pulled open the door. "Mrs. Fox?" he asked.
The woman blinked. "Not anymore, who are you? If you're looking for Ackerly, you won't find him here."
Dugan peered into the house, watching as a man approached, putting a protective arm around the woman. The very beautiful woman. Definitely his type. But this was business- not pleasure. "Wasn't looking for the auror," he said flatly, pushing his way through the door with the ease. He was bigger and stronger than both. He flicked his wand at the door- and it clicked shut and locked. Dugan let out a loud, dark laugh. "But I'm sure he'll find you soon enough."
They backed up, and he watched, waiting for their backs to hit the wall. It wasn't long before the man stood in front of the woman- branding his fists. "Pathetic little muggle," he sneered.
With another flick of his wand, Dugan watched the man crumple to the ground, writhing in pain. The woman screamed and sobbed, and made to run away. He broke his concentration long enough to root her in the spot. It was fun work, really, torturing the man, watching the muggle woman scream. He knew that the auror would be furious.
Minutes ticked by- antagonizingly slow for the auror's ex-wife, for certain, but far too fast for Dugan. Finally he tucked his wand in his pocket, and gave the man's body a hard kick. Then he grabbed the woman by the arm, jerking her toward him. He grabbed her chin with his other hand, focusing his amber eyes on hers. "You tell that auror I'm coming for him- for everyone else in his office, and anyone else at that shithole of a ministry that I don't like. You tell him I'll keep coming back until everyone is either dead or gone." He threw her back, and with a pop, Dugan was gone.
