Physical Description: Of average height and build, he leads an active lifesytle that keeps him in decent shape. He is starting to show signs of a receeding hairline and sometimes he will wear spectacles. His style is somewhat quirky, as he will wear hats, scarves or any other distinctive clothing items that seem out of place at times.

Personality Description: His knowledge of all things quidditch has given him a boost of confidence whenever he is covering the sport. That's his domain and he's most at home in it. This allows him to hold his own when interviewing high profile players, coaches and officials. And sometimes, he's more well known than those he is grilling.

Outside of quidditch, he can be socially awkward, so he tends to avoid personal interaction with others.

He seems laid back and easy going, with a dry wit and humor that often endear himself to the personalities he works with on a regular basis. But he also has a discerning eye and often won't let certain details go for the sake of being nice to an interviewee.

History: Maximus grew up in a large family with halfblooded roots. He was never considered exceptional at much except for his savant-like ability to memorize and recall obscure quidditch statistics and information. He played on the house team but not to much acclaim. Instead, he found himself following pro quidditch with a fervor

Once he left school, he became a beat reporter for the Daily Prophet. He primarily covered quidditch and other muggle sports, but he would also write articles for other sections of the paper from time to time.

These days, he is a prominent media personality in the sport, reporting for both the Daily Prophet and Quidditch Illustrated. Sometimes, for high profile matches like the World Cup or League Championships, he will be solicited to commentate.

Personally, Maximus is a widower and has one grown child.
