March 2nd,

Schlagenweit,

I write to convey my thanks and congratulations. Mr Bergen put two firm offers in for the third and fourth properties he viewed this morning, and is considering his offer on the second after we show his colleague around it. Much to everyone's surprise he didn't at all like the first property in Diagon Alley. Bergen also disclosed a very favourable review of your hospitality, overshadowing my general hospitality, so you must have been exemplary. Nothing less than I expect.

The next time we meet, I will have had time to read your file, rather than asking impolite questions on your background and situation, for which I must apologise. I conveyed my first impressions to our department head, Gabrielle Murray-Harker, whom was very pleased. Good, because if she's not, not only do you lose your position, but I'm put under scrutiny too. I am sure you will not let me down again.

I do hope your chemistry was a worthy distraction this afternoon. I can assure you the new revision of the magical trading standards act on broomstick length were not. Consider yourself fortunate.

Yours sincerely,

Johann Storm

Herr Storm,

I am pleased, though not entirely surprised, to hear that Mr. Bergen is buying two if not all three of the other properties.  As the first property had a buyer, all in all, it seemed like a good day's work.  I'm grateful to Mr. Bergen for the positive review and sincerely hope, one day, our business endeavors will again cross paths with his.  I'm glad to hear that, despite my failings in the beginning, the impression I left with both you and your office was a favorable one.  Rest assured, it was never my intention to let you down and I will work diligently to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I do enjoy playing quidditch and, therefore, love broomsticks but, I must admit, the lecture on an introduction to Quantum Theory and electron shells was probably much more interesting than trading standards on broomstick lengths.

Sincerely,

S. R. W. Schlagenweit
