Istarbel entered the common room after a long day. She was cold, and it had taken her about 5 minutes to figure out the riddle from the knocker.  She was tired and thinking had become hard, going upstairs was just not an option right now.  She smiled as she saw that her favourite arm chair next to the fire place was free. She slumped down and looked into her bag for her agenda to see what homework she should do. She would rather relax for bit, maybe even knit something, but she knew she had potions work.

As she opened her agenda, she saw that sure enough there was potions work and, was that the date? It couldn't be. That would mean it would be his birthday in a week . Oh man! This would be harder than she expected. Taking a deep breath she took out her potions book, a quill and some parchment. Might as well start taking some notes. It might make more sense then. Although it probably wouldn't help much, her week would not be an easy one, and anything she could do to make it easier would help.
