As you may or may not be aware, I have recently been appointed as professor of transfiguartion at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I have been informed of your situation and would like to meet with you to discuss your education in this area during the time that you are away from the school proper. I will be in London on Saturday, March 7th. You may meet me for tea at The Leaky Cauldron at 3 p.m - don't be late. I do not appreciate being kept waiting.

Professor Hallet,

Thank you, sincerely, for your interest in my education.  I appreciate any assistance you can offer in preparing for my end of year examinations and OWLs.  Though I've had a number of set back this year, I am determined to not allow them to effect my performance in either circumstances.  I'm confident in my ability to cover the theoretical, textbook material independently but that, I know, is of lesser importance in subjects like Transfiguration.  And, Transfiguration is one of the classes I wish to pursue into NEWT levels. 

I will meet you the Leaky Cauldron at 3pm on Saturday.  Again, I am grateful to you for taking the time to meet with me.
