I can't spot the thread this perhaps should be tagged onto the bottom of, sorry, so we'll start afresh.

Johann has been watching the prank wars between MLE and RCMC with interest, and proposes, with Yoona, to enter this secretly, in playing a prank against MLE, which will appear to come from RCMC.

I'm proposing releasing 3 diricawls into the MLE labelled clearly 1, 2 and 4. Of course, the natural inclination for MLE is to be looking for diricawl number 3, and they'll have to call up RCMC to help them with the animals.

However - not sure if this is the most amusing or accessible animal to release - because Johann's got to acquire them to release them, so I'm up for suggestions at what would be funnier for them to release into MLE. I'm also obviously looking for people to react and join in with this... yes, I'm up for someone ratting them out eventually, consequences are expected.

I think this is an amazing idea and I would love to see it happen, but just in the interest of full disclosure:  I think sections of both MLE and RCMC are strained to the breaking point right now, especially after the werewolf attacks, and I am not sure that they would respond to a prank right now with their normal good humor.   

I don't want to dissuade you because I as a player think it would be hilarious, but I just don't want you guys to get taken aback at the severity of the response if the characters get genuinely upset.  (I could totally see the Aurors getting furious at an ill-timed prank and uniting despite their differences to go all detective trying to figure out whodunnit.)

The time it gets played out is fluid, it can be delayed...

Probably best played at a time of less stress, Johann's not nasty malicious.

1st, use a niffler instead of a diricrawl.Would casue much more chaos.
2nd, maybe waiit for calmer times? IC, uiui can see the aurors looking for any offences the DoIMC might have committed.
3rd, you do realise this could mean a 2 on one prank war? ( MLE and RCMC V IMC)

That being said, I agree with Jonas, its a bit of a stressful time for the MLE and the RCMC. Folks are bound to be grumpy. But that also being said, knowing some of what is in store for the MLE and RCMC in the future as well as the Ministry, I don't think things are going to be getting better for anyone. lololol. So there might not be an opportune time in the near future?

I'd still love to see it happen though.  Maybe Storm was trying to lighten the mood a little? I have a hilarious image in my head of grumpy Aurors and WCU members grumbling and complaining each other, bending over a story board and blueprints of the Ministry as they plot their revenge against the culprits. Hahahaha.

If its not something Johann would do when he thought the Aurors were swamped, maybe wait a bit after the werewolf attacks? Or even before? If thats not too much backtracking pre-attacks might be more favorable for most of the Aurors at least.

Johann, the 1,2, 4 would increase the chaos. look at umbridge in OOTP when Lee was releasing the Nifflers inot her office. she tore thhe place apart. so if there were three Nifflers labelled 1,2 and 4 in the auror office, there would lieky be absolute bedlam.

Oh, and I do love the visual of Aurors and RCMC personnell plotting their revenge.

Maybe finding something a little less potentially malicious might help.  Nifflers and diricawls would, clearly, end up causing enough mayhem to make those that are involved and highly stressed less than amused.  But, maybe something that has some comic relief potential that's much more clearly mundane would work better?  A pixie that sprinkles glitter everywhere (corny example, I know) or ... do they celebrate carnival season in Britain?  Even if not, something related to that could be the IMC's spin on it.  Maybe if, somehow, shifting it to more obviously comically disrupting rather than actually overturning people's desks in search of paper clips would make it less irksome?

Are Johan and Azize familiar with one another? Azize pranked the RCMC on valentine's day with a yeti made of flowers haha. Maybe the two of them could work together?

Whether you wait until a less stressful time and use nifflers/diricrawls/whathaveyou, or do it sooner and use something less disruptive, I absolutely love the 1, 2, and 4 idea.

(Also, I propose the revenge for this prank involves putting a magical creature pointedly labelled '3' in the Translation Department. )

maybe the revenge could be creatures labelled 3, 5 and 6. 

Or, find a really obscure language that its less likely someone in the office knows and number them in that language.  Let the office do research before determining whether they're missing one. 

But, as his supervisor, if Storm needed assistance with this prank, he knows where to look.
