Script is written in purple pen that seems to be dying because it fades in areas. The handwriting is large and clumsy, obviously a childs, and is ripe with spelling errors. There are several heart stickers pasted on the back seal.

I hope your letter wasn't impertant. When it came, Dad got reely mad and tried to shoot the owl that brought it. When he went to get his gun I told it to come back later. And it did!! Are all animals that smart in the magic that world? It wold be sooo brill! Anyways, dad riped up your letter before I got to read it, but he forgot to rip up the envi enver letter holder thing  so I was able to find it after he left for the pub so I could get your address. 

I miss you. When are you coming home? Dad has been reely angry a lot sence you left and won't tell us why you aren't coming home. He said he doesn't have a son named Devlin. What does that mean? Did you change your name? I am reely worried about you.

Things aren't to grate at home. Dean and Lyle got kicked from school for setting the headmasters wig on fire. I herd it was was reely funny but I didn't get to see it happen . OH and you are going to be an uncle, Luke knocked up his bosses dotter Dought girl. He lost his job over it, so money is tight. I ate peanut butter and bolonea for like three weeks now! He is talking about running off with her to raise his child. I don't want him to. I don't want to loose two brothers!

Other then that, I am doing OK. I have been having a hard time at school but the teachers say it is because of all the mess at home. Dad got reely mad when I told him that and he says its your fault. How is it your fault? Please tell me what happened! I am scared I won't see you again
