"That was not a snog," she told him simply. Really, what was wrong with that kid? She was just trying to prove to Bilius Clogg-Spleen she did not hate him. And when he jinxed her, Winifred fell down to the ground with a loud thud. She tried to untangle her limbs but to no avail- when Nikolas finally pointed his wand at her to end the jinx. Winifred stretched out her legs, and stared at Bilius- looking as pitiful as she could manage. (Which was actually quite pitiful after all.)

"I AM TELLING YOUR HEAD OF HOUSE ON YOU!" she announced loudly, finally standing up and smoothing out her clothes. "THAT WAS VERY MEAN BILIUS CLOGG-SPLEEN!" Winifred somewhat accustomed to being hexed or jinxed, but she was still always very dramatic about it. At least the jinx that Billy had used had not been one which would physically harm her (unless she fell wrong), but still...

And to make matters worse their bickering seemed to have made Nikolas mad. She watched as Niko dragged Billy away toward the forest. That wasn't the quidditch pitch at all! "And you're a liar, Nikolas Fakenrath!" she called out after their retreating figures. "You weren't going to go fly at all! You could have just said you didn't want me to go instead of being so mean to me!" Everyone was being mean to her! Winifred stamped her foot on the ground angrily and held her chin high. She wanted to cry! But she wasn't going to. She knew better.

"Do it! You really think Morgan will care if someone hexed you?! Maybe you should tell O Morain, I bet he'd take our side! Only not because-hey!" He got hauled off by Niko mid-sentence, struggling for a moment til he heard the annoyance in his friend's voice. Then he scowled and crossed his arms.

Billy made a rude gesture at Winnie before he struggled free of Niko's grip and ran next to him, having to run to keep up with Niko's long stride.

"No, no we can't," he told him. "It's not my fault she's so stupid," he added defensively.

Now normally Nikolas would turn around and apologize to Winnie about lieing to her, maybe even turn back and console her. Normally he would try and break up their fighting good naturedly. Normally he was a lot more tolerant of everything and something this normal wouldn't bother him. But right now Niko was feeling far from normal. Having been cooped up in the castle all winter due to the nasty weather the thought of his adventure being blocked by the two's arguing, especially after being told not to, was fraying his last  nerve.

Niko stopped abruptly, eye twitching in annoyance, "AAAAHHHHH! Fuck both of you and your stupid fucking fighting!" Panting slightly from his outburst, Nikolas took off running towards the forest, not bothering to see what his friends reactions were like to his rare outburst.

When Nikolas yelled at the both of them, Winifred felt incredibly guilty. She had not intended to hurt his feelings. (Although why her and Billy's bickering would bother him so much she wasn't quite sure.) And his language was awful... She wanted to yell back "Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" but decided that now was not the time considering what all had just transpired.

She wasn't sure if she should chase him or not. If Billy was going to chase him, and they kept arguing, it would just make things worse. "I'M SORRY I RUINED EVERYTHING!" she wailed dramatically, before running in the opposite direction- back toward the castle. She would allow Bilius Clogg-Spleen to sort things out, since it seemed Niko liked him so much more than he liked her. None of her friends liked her best! It was so incredibly tragic.
