Wand: Ivory's wand is a combination of Purpleheart wood with Holly while sporting an inlay of sterling silver that wraps around the handle and the shaft of the wand.  At a length of thirteen inches, it's the longest wand and with it's core of a phoenix's feather, Ivie is the odd ball out of her family. The wand is of a supple smooth quality.

Physical Description: Standing at 5'6” in height, Ivory is rather tall for her age and the tallest of the two girls in her family. Her hair is a flax golden blond with roots of a sandy brown. And while people think she dyes her hair really her hair is just sun 'dyed' or faded. She likes having her hair either middle of her chest, shoulder length or boy cut short in it's overall length. Often changing it to fit her mood. Her eyes are a azure crystal blue with a darker ring around the outer edge of the iris. She has a definitely clear cleft chin, with a long heart shaped face. High cheek bones and though not big on the whole make up thing she does take care to 'shape' her eyebrows given them a high slightly pointed arch just above the down hill slope of her slightly wide almond eyes.

Ivory is much more comfortable in T-shirts, shirts with three-thirds, half or long sleeves, sweaters  and either slack or jean pants. Though if she manages to travel to a warmer place then England she often can be found in capris or shorts. The most Jewelry Ivie can be found wearing at any given time is a set of earrings in her lobes, a necklace... usually a single chain or a chain with a small pendent. A ring or two... usually a simple plain band of silver with a small gemstone. She also can bee found or seen wearing a watch or a bracelet though those often come off and get stuck into her book bag since she doesn't like the feeling of the stuff on her wrists for very long.

Personality Description:
(Ivory's point of view)

"Some say that I'm too quiet or reserved. Often times I'm happier sitting off to the side in a room watching the going ons that are taking place in the room. I guess I'm a people or event watcher, busy recording the things my eyes and ears are taking in. I can often times remember things that other people were to busy or blind to see. The little details really. I rather love mysteries and so anything movie or book wise that has some kind of mystery are often my favorite things to have around me or given to me.

Now I'm not sure about the next things that people like my Mother or Father say about me but I might as well include them. I mean if they say I'm like that I guess they are seeing a side of me I can't see. Though Mother says it's because I don't want to see them. Whatever. Anywho, I've been told I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things on the artistic nature and no I don't mean the mental issue autistic I mean the things like photography, drawing and painting. Things like that. And well I guess I am in a way. I do have a lot of unfinished artwork cause it didn't turn out right to me. Though others say I'm very highly skilled.” She shrugs.

I will admit to being an minimalist. I don't really need the high end things to be happy. I rather like having simple designed furniture in gentle colors or even woods furniture. Heck my mother hates that I would be content to live in a home decorated to fit the man in the house over a bunch of floral designed things. And while I am not big on jewelry I do like some simple pieces. Like a single strain of silver with a single gemstone and wouldn't have to be big. A small carat is fine and doesn't have to be real for me to enjoy it. It's really more the thought behind the gift that I value more then the price of the item. One could bring me a single flower picked from a garden and I would treat it like my grandest treasure.

Okay so maybe mom is right in saying I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic. Oh she says I'm also reserve in nature until I feel I can trust you. Then I'm to opinionated for my own good. And that I often misplace my trust and often mistake my liking of someone for real love. She often jokes I wouldn't know real love if it bite me on the ass.” She shrugs again and then moves on to her life story.

------

Ivory is often looked at as a puzzle by those that don't really know her. Often her first impression with most people is that she's a quiet or rather reserved young lady.  She can often be found with her head down as her hand seems to fly over a sketchpad or as the young woman takes notes in class. Of course there are times she's actually taking notes on those around her. Ivory or Ivie as she often prefers to be called, has a real interesting eye for details. Little things that people often miss, dirt or mud on a shoe when the person has claimed to not been outside all day, or even something so simple as a pencil or quill that has been moved just a bit out of place from where it had been laid by it's owner. Because of this Ivie has a love for mystery novels, stories, games and movies. However her all time favorite are mysteries with romance woven into the story like a hidden thread of gold or silver.

While the first impression people get of Ivie is that she's a loner, the truth of the matter is she's just the kind of person that is often unsure about herself in new environments around new people. She will softly smile, wave or even nod at a person to show she's listening or that she might wish to talk to them at first. But as time goes by and she grows more sure of herself, her surroundings and even those she hopes to make into friends, Ivory can often be very quick to not hush. She basically can go from one extreme to the other. However, Ivie does have a bit of an issue were if you cut her off while she's trying ot talk or explain something. Well the girl will grow annoyed until the point that she'll snap, yell say things she doesn't mean then walk off supposedly hating and wanting to curse you. But give her some time alone and before long unless you did something to really hurt her or a friend, she'll come back an apologize for how she acted and what she said. Because of this Ivory is often afraid to stand up for herself, instead will end up taking to others about what they would do if they were in her situation. She often ends up looking for support of her choices before she acts on them.

The girl does have sort of an issue with everything she does, be it her artwork, reports or homework, it has to be perfect in her eyes. If it's not she'll just crunch it up into a ball and throw it into a fire or set it on fire and then scream in frustration. She's even been seen banging her head against a table or the wall when she's really annoyed at herself. Ivory also has a taste for the more casual or masculine type of decorations. While she might like flowers she hates overly done floral and pink. Don't get her wrong she likes the color and floral if it's done at a minimal level. The less she has the happier she is. This taste in her comes across in her clothing and especially her jewelry. It's simple and yet clearly represents her likes and dislikes. Ivory can also be a bit of a hopeless romantic when it comes to relationships. Often seeing couples were there might not be between her friends, however in a twist of ironic fate, Ivie can't see the beauty she possesses in her features. One example is a person could be looking right at her and tell her she was a very beautiful or pretty girl and she would end up looking either around or back over her shoulder thinking they were talking about or to someone else other then her.

History: Born as the eldest daughter and yet the second child among four, Ivory was a joy to her mother and father. Julien and Amy Razvan. She was somewhat close to her elder brother who often felt it was his duty to protect her, which Ivie never really liked. She was seven when her baby sister was born into the family taking away her title of baby of the family. And while at first ivory was jealous of her sister she soon came to accept the young baby. Especially when the fourth Razvan was born among the tight yet odd little family, Ivory was elven years old and had just started Hogwarts.

As a young child Ivie often stuck to herself, reading books at an early age. She would also experiment sketching things like people, landscape and animals along with still life objects like a basket of fruit. She ended up teaching herself how to draw. It was because of this and the mysteries she read that ivory began to develop a knack for spotting the finer details others like her brother and parents missed. Of course she often used this to get her elder brother in trouble too. Ivory and her brother, Jason were raised by their mother while their father worked as a fine art and rare artifacts collector for a wizarding museum. Ivie's mother was grateful that her daughter could often find things to entertainer herself with and in a sense took care of herself, unlike her older brother who was always a handful.

When Ivory's sister came along, Ivie had seen her brother Jason who had turned eleven years old the year before, head off to Hogwarts. She longed to go with him and was sad that she had to wait another four years before she would be able to attend her first year of the grand magic school of Britain. She even managed to some how talk her parents into buying her the beautiful eagle owl she still owns as a pet. Of course at the time the owl was still a baby chick. Ivory hated that her parents attention was either focused on her dear little sister Maria or her brother Jason. She really did feel like the forgotten middle child. It was because of this she began to not trust people especially adults when they made promises. Ivie began to always expect 'the other shoe to drop' as it was when ever someone made her a promise.

Just before her eleventh birthday, Ivory finally got the letter to Hogwarts. She was thrilled that finally little Ivory Rose would get to walk among the 'hollowed' halls of Hogwarts. She was quick to make her shopping list of things she would need and a few simple extras that she wanted for her first year. Having dragged her mother to Diagon Alley, there was no stopping her as she gathered her things the day before she was to board the train. Now why Ivory wasn't a very out going girl it was her mind and creativity that caused the sorting hat to place her in the house of Ravenclaw. While not the house her father had been placed in while attending, it had been the very house her mother had been sorted to in as a child. Ivory was very happy to be in at least one house that her parents had been in but in a house totally different from Jason who had gotten sorted into Gryffindor when he had attended Hogwarts.

Ivory's first year was like most first years, she got settled into the school. Learned the locations of her classes, and did her best to make more friends then enemies. She did her best to pass all her classes with high marks, and because of this often lost sleep due to the late hours of perfecting her homework and things that the young Razvan girl would put in. But much to her sadness the first year came and went by so fast, too fast for her. Soon she was back home for the summer waiting out the new school year and thus her second year.

The second year she grew a little bit more courage making a few friends among her class/ house mates, but still being the reserve people watcher she had been most of her life. She loved going to Dagon Aley during the holidays but her true love besides the astronomy tower, in a window seat, or outside was the library with it's million and more books. So much knowledge and yet so little time to discover it all the way she wanted to. Again the year came and went, with summer doing much the same. Ivory is now in her 3rd year. Doing her best to make her parents proud and while secretly wishing that some how she might one day find enough wit or courage to find someone that likes how she looks and can deal with her off the wall sudden temper when she feels she's being ignored.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Ivory is both creativity and has a gift for knowledge. Whether it is the knowledge in little details, to the knowledge she is always seeking in her books, Ivory loves learning and thus growing her mind. Her creative side comes out in the artwork she often does after she is done with her homework. She has a sharp wit for things in the subjects she excels in, Art, Protective magic, Potions and Cooking.

Writing Sample: Hogsmeade weekend. Something that almost every third year looked forward to, well so long as they were allowed to go. Even if they weren't some were still able to go in on the sly. However, Ivory was not one of those that had to sneak in as her parents had given their permission for her to be allowed to attend the weekends with the other third years and up.

Dressed in a pair of her favorite jeans, a long sleeve button up light blue shirt underneath a diamond patterned sweater, Ivie held her hair back with a simple cloth head band. It wasn't to tight but it kept her bangs out of her eyes so that she could place the ear muffs on her eyes without tangling her hair around them. Gloved hands were either in her front pockets of her jeans, the pockets of her jacket or hidden under the biceps of her arms that were crossed over her chest. Azure eyes watched as her fellow class and house mates all ran past her in their hurry to get to the little near by wizarding town. Ivory as usually took her time enjoying the day out in the crisp winter air.

Ivory had a mission today, even if no one else understood why she was so into romance novels, Ivory was hoping to see if the local bookstore had any new books. If not new books in general would be nice to add to her collection. She was thinking about this when suddenly two sixth years ran by her and knocked her over into the snow covered ground. Grunting from the shock of pain that reverberated up from her knees into her thighs ending at her hips, Ivory looked up as the two boys laughed at her and then ran on.

No need to lose your temper Ivie. It's only giving into them.” She told herself as she got up from the ground. Dusting her legs off, while hoping no one had seen that, the third year Ravenclaw, just began to chew on her bottom lip as her feet returned to carrying her towards her destination. Wonderful full of excitement and many places for a Hogwarts student to not only waste their time but also their money away on during the weekend. Ivie just was glad to know that after she had gotten her shopping over with she could relax with a nice mug of warm butter beer while diving into one of her newly purchased books. Oh yes Hogsmeade weekends was a day she truly enjoyed in her own silent way.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Ivory is a reserved young woman with an eye for fine details, while loving mysteries and romance stories/ puzzles in life. She excels in the fields of Art, Protective Magic, Potions, Cooking, and looking out for those she has learned to trust. When she's not got her nose in a book, working on some art or homework, Ivory loves being outside to admire the world around her. She is quick to temper if she feels she's being over looked when she is talking about something she deems important. However, after she 'blows her top' and goes off on her own, she will often times realize her mistake and return to the people she wronged and apologize to them in hopes they will forgive her. After that she moves on with her life hoping to learn not to blow up in the future. She longs to trust more easily but often feels she trusts to easily already. And deep down she longs for someone like a boyfriend or a really close male friend she can lean on. A hopeless romantic to the core. Ivory loves and finds beauty in simple things, even if she can't see the beauty in herself.
