Hey Pops,
This is just a quick owl I'm popping off because I had a brilliant idea and I need to get it on parchment to you before I forget. I just got back from this weeks SAWS meeting and while things got heated (as usual I couldn't control my mouth, how come I have to be so vocal?). Anyway, while we were all trying to figure out how we could get more people involved I thought of you. I think we should hold a benefit concert Hogsmeade weekend.

You and Mum have always encouraged me to stand by my convictions, to stick my neck out when I believe a cause is worthy. I need your help with this Pops. I can't do it on my own. As much progress as we'd like to think we're making... we have to get more people involved. I feel like if we could just draw everyone in with a concert maybe at least some of them would stay to hear the message.

This is me, asking you for help - on account of how much I love you.

Hey Princess,

You know I can't say no, unless your mother is around but if it comes to it we'll send her on a spa weekend to keep ourselves out of the bad books. If you send me the details, I can start making plans. We've been backed up at the studio, taken on a few new bands so time has been stretched farther than ever. I've enclosed a demo of some of the boys since you know I like them to be given the 'Sophie Seal of Approval'. Tell me what you think.

I spoke to your mother about the SAWS meeting and she made that queer little lip thing she does when you know something's made her day. Stick with it, kiddo, and you'll reap the rewards, not only for yourself but for the people out there being denied their human rights. Segregation is fascism, like I told you, so be big, bad, stomping Sophie and keep up the good fight. You make your old man proud. You're a stubborn little nut, just like Nana.

I might have to bribe the rest of the Mandrake Siren crowd to convince them to hike up to Scotland -- you know we've seldomly toured outside of London the whole time, but if I mention your name, they'll oblige, to be sure.

P.S. I think Cedric may have dropped my Valentines card in the Thames again, or is my little monkey getting too old for that mushy business?

Auld One,

I've just had the best night and your letter made me feel extra happy. I'll give the bands a listen as soon as I can. What I'm really interested to hear is the next release from the Screaming Inferi. Is Jimmy Doyle still as lush as I remember? ... Now the vein in your forehead is throbbing! I can tell, and I'm not even there. I put on Half-Blood Theory just now and I think they're alright. I'll have to give it a few more listens before I can tell you what I really think. Fir is so jealous you send me music.

You know, I have a solid fifteen years worth of Valentines from you, it seems a pity to break the streak and chuck it in the Thames now...

I was hoping you could maybe offer some advice as to what venues might be good in Hogsmeade. You used to play there a bit didn't you? Its hard to know which managers will be open to letting us in. Actually, you're still kind of close to Horace at the Hungry Slug aren't you? And don't lie and say no because I know he's still on Mum's Christmas card list. I know it's not... a student friendly club but maybe if you use some of that Flickwick charm Nana says I inherited from you you could get him to agree to open it up to us for just one night?

Give Thor and Gunner an extra biscuit for me, and a good long snuggle. I miss them...and you and Mums too.
