[Physical Description:]
Well do a head-to-toe analysis of Altair, beginning at the top and working our way down. His hair is of a short, stylish style, and in color, shows a sort of sandy-blonde to lighter brown in certain shades of lighting. His eyes are a seaweed green, with a small brown rim around the pupil. He has a beautiful set of teeth that he often shows off, as he tends to smile a lot. In build, Altair has quite a muscular body. He obtained it while in Hogwarts, as he became the captain of his house quidditch team, and started a rigorous diet and exercise plan in his sixth year. Normally, he is seen wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing and jeans.

[Personality Description:]
To start him off, Altair is a very loving person. Not only does he love animals, he finds something good in every person he meets. He tries to be kind towards everyone, no matter how they treat him in return. It has always been an innate quality he has shown to everyone. His family has seen it in him that he loves to love, and are impressed that he has such demeanor about him.

He also has a very intense process about him. Everything he does, it is neatly done and in order. If something isn't done precisely the way he intends for it to be, his day becomes a little less happy. It started out when he became the quidditch captain in his Hogwarts years, then grew as he himself grew older.

However, there can be some not-so-happy things to Altair. First of all, he is one of the clumsiest people around. He tends to forget where he's walking and trips over just about anything in his path, even his own two feet. And when he trips, he starts swearing. Generally, though, he can keep his words in. But a few times, he's let his words slip, and the repercussions aren't exactly happy.

As well as being clumsy, he can have a nasty habit of getting to clingy. He likes being around people that love him, and even if they want their alone time, he sometimes forgets they have their own life. It usually bites him in the arse, and he tends to cry, but he's starting to get over it.

[History:]
In a hospital not far from his hometown of Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland, Altair Gairden was born on April 3, 1984. Taken back to his parent's farm, he was greeted by his older brother, Ailpein. Lorna and Cailean, Altair's parents, were extremely happy to have another son at their home. Lorna, a Healer, was previously engaged to a muggle man, but when he found out she was a witch, he ran off. Cailean worked for the Ministry, but had an injury to his, well, ego, and decided to be a stay-at-home farmer. They had Ailpein two years before Altair. Later in the future, they would have twin girls to join the ranks of their children.

As a child, Altair was raised on a small farm, specifically geared towards raising the red deer of Ireland. But among the deer, his family also raised an assortment of wizarding creatures, too, including kneazles, kelpies (in the pond behind their house), and hippogriffs. It was a wonderfully animal-tastic childhood for Altair, which is probably the reason he loves animals so much. As well as introducing him to the animals, Altair's father taught him how to heal and train and take care of the magical creatures he was surrounded by.

When not looking after the animals, however, Ailpein always challenged his younger brother to a game of quidditch. Altair loved the game so much, he made it a second hobby, after looking after the animals. He got so well at it, that Ailpein eventually just said pass when Altair wanted to play.

At the age of eleven, he was sent the invitation to attend Hogwarts, where his brother two years prior to him was already attending. Altair was placed in Hufflepuff, for his loyalty and generousity all-around. He was never the type of student to pick a fight, call someone out for nothing, or do anything particularly wrong. Normally, he would hang around the Care of Magical Creatures class area and entertain the animals.

When he wasn't helping out the COMC professor, Altair was studying in his room, which accounted to his fairly decent grades. During his sixth year, Altair was honored with the quidditch captain title. He started a rigorous routine of diet and exercise, making him into a strong, well-abled man.

It was during his seventh year, that Altair found out he wasn't physically or mentally attracted to women. On the Christmas break, Altair stayed at Hogwarts, only to find himself entangled in a romance with another boy classmate. The other boy, a boy named Mitcham, was a Slytherin, and couldn't let it be known that he was involved with not only a boy, but a Hufflepuff. They tried sticking it out, but towards the end of the school year, Altair couldn't handle secrecy, and came out to his friends, family, and basically everyone. Mitcham was his first love, and occasionally, they keep in touch.

After Hogwarts, Altair went to the DoRMCM to be trained as a professional in the creature-healing business. For two years, he worked under the Ministry until he was fed up with the same routine. He found Sean Ferris, a prominent Magizoologist in the field, and finished up his training with Sean.

Now Altair works as a magizoologist - a profession fit for the farmboy he was raised. He works under Sean in his clinic, and soon hopes to have his own professional setting where he is in-charge and in-control. But until then, he takes great care in working for Sean. On Sean's trips, Altair is in-charge and does well at keeping the clinic.

Altair is currently a magizoologist. He is fully equipped to do whatever the job requires, and though he isn't in control fully, he could be if he had the money to run his own business. Currently, he is working for Sean Farris, and he achieved the job through an interview with Sean's daughter, Kia. In his past, he was raised on a farm, so he knows how to take care of animals and treat them.

[Writing Sample:]

Looking after the magical creatures was what Altair loved most to do, and he had fun doing it. Today, he was having a rather hectic day. The kneazles he was looking after were twin terrors, and loved to make as much noise just to annoy people, and he had a hippogriff with an injured wing that was mildly depressed. Wiping the sweat off his brow, Altair sat at the front and pulled out a magazine to take his mind off the long day.

Just as he propped his feet up on the counter, he felt a small scratching on his leg. As he looked down, he noticed one of the kneazles was the thing scratching him. "What in Merlin's name?" Getting up, he picked the cat-like creature up and walked back to the cage, only to see the other on was missing as well. "The two of you are giving me a headache. Oi!" Locking the one kneazle up, Altair quickly went to find the other one.

As he hurried, he found himself on the floor, as he had tripped over a disorganized mess, apparently made by kneazle #2. Looking up, he was face to face with the other kneazle, and as he just about uttered a 'Come here, you!', the thing scratched his face. "OI!" The kneazle gave a soft, hissy laugh before scurrying towards the front of the clinic.

"Hello?" Someone was apparently there. "Over here! Don't worry about the desk, just hop it and help me up!" Altair yelled from the back. As he looked up again, a man's hand was reaching down to him. Taking a firm grip, Altair smiled as the man helped him up. "Thank you." He smiled and then caught the man's eyes. "Not a problem. I'm Donnie. I'm here to pick up Sammi and Heidi." Altair noticed he was holding one of the kneazles.

Taking him to the front, as he picked up the lesser of the kneazles, he smirked at Donnie. "So, these are yours, huh?" Donnie returned his smirk. "Actually, they're my ex's, but as he wasn't avaiable to pick them up, he asked me, too. Ugh. I can understand your smirk though. They can be a handful. At least this one. " He said, indicating the one in his arms.

"Well, tell your ex his bill is in the mail. I'll have Mr. Farris look over the damage. Hah hah." Altair said, and winked. "Have a good day, Mr...?" Donnie said questionanly. "It's Altair." "Well, Altair, have a great day." Donnie walked off with the two kneazles, smiling on his way out. As Altair watched him go, he looked down and saw a piece of paper with a full name and address on it. Thinking to himself, Altair smiled and gave himself a laugh.
