[April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) on February 26, 2009, 10:44:33 PM 12:30 PMOutfitDevlin leaned against the wall of the abandoned corridor, head down and his hands in his pockets. Tapping his foot impatiently, he glanced at his watch and sighed. His head rolled back against the wall and he pounded his fists together aimlessly. Waiting for others had never been his strong point. In fact, he almost never was on time, just so he didn't have to wait. But when it came to asking a girl out, you had to be the one waiting lest you miss your chance. The girl in question was not Fauna Blake, surprisingly considering his plan was to seduce her, but Jordyn Dimbleby. It wasn't what one might think though... He wasn't just about to ask her out because he wanted a hot chick on his arm, though that was always a plus. There was a plan for it all, a reason that he was sure she would agree with. The question was whether she got his message to meet him here at 7 and if she was going to actually honor the request. He mentioned Gavin in it, knowing she had the hots for him, so he was fairly positive she would be there.Glancing at his watch one more time, he groaned inwardly when he saw that it was only 7:05. Knowing girls like Jordyn, she could be anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes late just because she was combing her hair. Time was moving by excruciatingly slow and he vowed that he would give her another 10 minutes before he left. He didn't have a shortage of cute girls he could use for this plan, she just so happened to be the best. Boys should be made to wait at least a few minutes for a girl to show up and she certainly didn’t want to seem too eager. Truth be told, when she received the note to meet him in the abandoned corridor, she was a little suspicious. Devlin Matthews, for all of his charm, was not the kind of guy who had private meetings. Perhaps that was why she was so eager to go. Looking in the mirror one last time, she adjusted her headband in her dark hair and used the tip of her finger to smooth the edge of her eye shadow back into place. She adjusted her top as well, just a little tighter and higher up, to enhance the attributes she was not naturally gifted with (darn genes), and she decided she was content and could leave. Scaling up the stairs from the dungeons, it couldn’t have been more than three of seven, giving her about ten minutes to get where she needed to be. She didn’t want to rush and sweat, after all. Her boot clad feet carried her swiftly, but not too quickly up the stairs to the third floor where she was told to meet. The note had mentioned Gavin as well, and now that he was dating that chit, well, Jordyn just wanted to know what Nicola Hames, who didn’t even dress nicely, had – and perhaps Devlin was going to tell her something she could use. It wasn’t that Jordyn couldn’t live without Gavin, after all, she was an independent girl, she just wanted to know, really, what Nicola had that was better than what she had. It couldn’t be much, she thought with a snort of indignation. Upon reaching the third floor, Jordyn stopped at the top and again readjusted herself (one could never be sure if she looked exactly right), before pushing the door to the corridor open, flashing Devlin her most charming smile – some found it disconcerting. “I hope you haven’t been waiting too long,” her voice was smooth, like oil, and she gave him an elevator glance as she approached. He really was attractive in a less than conventional way, she thought, the smile dying down into a complacent smirk, “but it’s always fashionable to be at least a little late.” Skip to next post Re: [April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) Reply #2 on February 26, 2009, 11:30:43 PM Moments after he had checked his watch, he was alerted by the sound of a door opening. One hand slipped into his pocket, grasping his wand in case it was a prefect, while he glanced up at the person entering nonchalantly, his eyebrows raised. His grasp on his wand relaxed and a lazily smirk spread across his face when he saw Jordyn standing there, looking very fit indeed. He mimicked her once over, pausing a little longer then necessary on the cleavage peeking out from the top of her v-neck shirt. Nice, She had come prepared.“I hope you haven’t been waiting too long, but it’s always fashionable to be at least a little late.”"What can I say..." He drawled slowly, pushing up from his spot against the wall and walking towards her. Stopping in front of her, he grinned down at her flirtatiously, secretly pleased that she was so short. He wasn't the tallest guy in school, much to his disgust, but next to her petite 5'3'' frame, he was virtually a giant. Reaching out, he picked up a strand of her long dark hair from where it rested against her naked clavicle, making sure his fingertips brushed the soft pale skin in the process. Twirling the strand around his finger, he said in a husky tone ".... I like fashionable girls..." When he approached her, she stood with her hip cocked to the side and that challenging look she was most proud of plastered across her features. He was certainly good looking, she thought, even if he was not the most fashionable. Really, that t-shirt was a bit of a stretch, but she supposed it didn’t matter TOO much for a boy. Lifting her chin, she allowed him to touch her hair, brushing his fingers against her skin. A soft sigh passed her lips, and she continued to look up at him. Well, well, he was certainly being the charmer today. She shouldn’t have been surprised. “What can I say... I like fashionable girls..."“If this is about fashion,” she chuckled, “I’m going to have to decline. I don’t do consultations for free, and I’m far too expensive for you.” Her eyes glimmered with mischief as she took one hand from her hip and rested it on the crook of his neck, just to pull him down a little. “And I won’t do anything for the Hames girl either. She’s more hopeless than you are.” Naturally, Jordyn left out of the fact that she hated Nicola on several different principles and wouldn't do anything to make her ever look any better. If Gavin could like her the obviously his standards were not what Jordyn though they would be. She dressed like a boy ninety percent of the time (in Jordyn's opinion), and it could stay that way. There was a possibility under all that there could be even the slightest bit of attractiveness and she wasn't going to risk it. Her attention refocused on Devlin: she didn't want to ruin her mood with all those thoughts of Icky Nicky.“Though, I can think of a few suitable things to do with your wardrobe…” she teased. She tugged on his collar with one hand, the other shooting out from her hip to hook her index finger in the belt loop of his plaid shirts to pull him closer. When Jordyn was struck with the inspiration, she had the mind of a devil. As soon as their bodies were about to touch, Jordyn released his shorts and his collar and stepped back, tossing her long hair over her shoulder. “So, what’s this really about?" The feel of her fingers brushing the sensitive hairs against his nape caused him to tense. Licking his lips, he could only stare down into her deep chocolate brown eyes as she spoke. Her words barely reached his ears and those that did were disjointed and broken, but her actions filled in the blanks. Especially when she started to pull him towards her, finger laced into his belt loop in an all too enticing manner. For once, Devlin was speechless with a girl. Unfortunately, this didn't last; Before he could bow his head for the kiss he was sure was coming, she was separated from him and smirking, obviously proud of herself. “… So, what’s this really about?""Ooh you tease" He groaned, drawing in his brows and pursing his lips in a playful pout before curling his top lip back into a lecherousness smirk. He wasn't going to let her get away that easily. Reaching out a single finger, he caught the top of the black corset and pulled her petite form effortlessly towards him, closing the space between them again. Leaning down, he hovered near the spot where her collarbone met her neck , his breath brushing it. A smile touched his lips as he slowly ran his nose along her neck, smelling the soft scent of sandalwood and orchids gracing her pale skin before whispering in her ear, his lips brushing the lobe lightly "... As far as I am concerned, Fashion is only fashion when the clothes are on..."He let his words sink in before he stepped back, giving her a taste of her own medicine. Cocking his head to the side, he grinned down at her as he said "... But that isn't what I came here for...." He paused, gave her a quick once over, before adding "At least... not at the moment." Turning from her, he strolled lazily over to the opposite wall, hands in his pockets, as he said "No... Right now I need your help..." Once he reached the other wall he turned and leaned against it, crossing his arms and tilting his head to the side so he could look at her from under raised brows "I know you like Gavin Snark... I think about everyone knows... And I can help you get him.." He punctuated his statement by pointing at himself and then slowly at her with both hands. The two fore fingers paused on her and he waved them slightly as he continued "That is IF you do something for me..." She was quite proud of herself, especially to make one like Devlin Matthews unable to speak for a moment, it seemed like an impossibility, but then again, Jordyn always felt like she was defying odds. She yelped a little when she was tugged forward by the front of her corset, almost effortlessly on the part of the older boy. Secretly, she quite liked it, and was even more pleased when he leaned down. She thought for sure she was going to get a very skilled kiss (rumor was he was a good kisser) from the Ravenclaw, but he surprised her and nudged her hair out of the way with his big head, just barely touching her skin with his face. An involuntary shiver passed down her back and she had to reinforce her knees with every slight movement. He made her shiver and her face redden, she could have grabbed his collar and pushed him against the wall as he whispered in her ear. A low chuckle bubbled up from her throat as he spoke. Oh, he was good! The flush on her face dimmed as he pulled away, making Jordyn frown. She had been enjoying herself! But, she corrected her behavior with a clearing of her throat; there were matters to attend to… She could have attended to them a few minutes ago! Business, right, Jordyn thought, watching him swagger as he spoke. "... But that isn't what I came here for... At least... not at the moment. No... Right now I need your help..."“Oh really?” she raised her eyebrows at him, her hands on her hips when he looked at her with that lazy expression. Did he really need to lean up against a wall? He didn’t look any cooler to her that way, but she gave him the benefit of the doubt on this. “What for?” "I know you like Gavin Snark... I think about everyone knows... And I can help you get him… That is IF you do something for me..." Now he had her interest. Though, when he declared that everyone knew, Jordyn pursed her lips. She did not think everyone knew. Perhaps out of their little group, because of Icky Nicky, she assumed, but the whole of Hogwarts couldn’t know. It wasn’t the time to argue semantics, however, and the Slytherin girl walked forward, a sway to her hips as she did, that querying look in her eyes. “That depends on what it is,” she put her hand on the wall, next to him, leaning for an advantageous angle, “You’ve intrigued me,” she added, “Go on.” Skip to next post Re: [April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) Reply #6 on February 27, 2009, 11:56:27 PM “You’ve intrigued me, Go on.”Oh Devlin did love cunning and devious women. Sure they were usually more trouble then they were worth, but there was something about the mischievous look on Jordyns face that really made him want to forget the entire plot and just spend the next couple of weeks snogging her in that very corridor. Luckily for Devlin, he was smart enough to not let himself get seduced by it."Lets put it this way..." He pushed off from the wall and straightened up, turning to face her. Reaching out, he begin to aimlessly play with her long hair, tucking it behind her ear and curling it around his fingers as he spoke "... You want Gavin... but Gavin, for some reason, has it bad for Nicola.." His fingertips ran down the pale column of her neck and then lightly traced the neckline of her v-neck undershirt, leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake. He watched his hand as he did this, as if fascinated, until he traced the entire thing back up to her other shoulder. Looking up into her eyes, he rested his hands on her shoulders for a moment."... But I know Gavin... He may like her now... but next school year when she is off doing whatever she plans on doing..." He ran his hands down her arms and rested them on the curve of her hips. Looking her over, his lip curled into a devilish smirk "He will need something to keep him entertained... The question is how you can make sure that you get his attention at the right time..." Pulling her against him, he grinned "I can help with that..."Leaning forward, he pressed his lips to hers in a light kiss before trailing smaller kisses up over her cheek and towards her ear where he begin to whisper the plan softly, pausing now and then to punctuate it with a kiss on the cheek and ear. You want Gavin... but Gavin, for some reason, has it bad for Nicola.."Her nose scrunched in distaste at the mention of this fact. She would have turned away and complained about it had he not been so skilled in keeping her attention. Her chest rose and fell with steady breathing, but as his hand slowly followed the curvature of her neckline, her breaths became less steady and trembled ever so slightly, lips parted as she looked up into his face which was intently following the path his fingers laid over her collar and upper chest. An involuntary sort of purr bubbled in her throat and she tilted her head back a little more, languishing in the attention. “For some unexplainable reason,” She corrected him, finally able to get bearings enough to speak without her voice cracking or sounding a little too husky. "... But I know Gavin... He may like her now... but next school year when she is off doing whatever she plans on doing… He will need something to keep him entertained... The question is how you can make sure that you get his attention at the right time… I can help with that..."The petite brunette pushed herself against his hands, having a distinct like for the physical contact it provided, and also for the words he was saying. Granted, being akin to some sort of entertainment was not Jordyn’s ideal, but he had most of the right ideas in place. Smirking up at him, the brunette tried to stay aloof, but she was really itching with anticipation, what did he have in mind and where exactly was this all going? “Well, Magic Man, tell me how it’s going to work,” she slithered her body right up against his, having to crane a little to actually still see his face – damn her short frame!Returning the kiss, though disappointed at its brevity, Jordyn let her hand fall to the side, sighing contentedly as his lips traversed over the side of her face. Her hands, meanwhile, were lightly touching his sides, moving down to the belt loops to just have something to hold on to. For some reason, boys seemed to like that kind of thing. She giggled, almost evilly as he laid out the plan, stopping every now and then to add a kiss here or there. It was genius, it was evil – it was them. As soon as he finished, the slytherin turned her face to catch his lips in a congratulatory, lingering kiss. “You know, if I didn’t know better, I’d think you were a Slytherin yourself,” she pointed out, playfully (though admittedly a little rougher than she might have usually been) nipped at his bottom lip. “I’m in.” Skip to next post Re: [April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) Reply #8 on February 28, 2009, 10:17:58 AM The plan was ingenious (in his own expert opinion), sneaky, more then a tad underhanded and definitely was going to be fun. Sure, he would be dating a girl that had no real long term interest in him aside from physical attraction, but then, when had he NOT dated a girl like that? Besides, he reasoned, it was for a good cause. Devlin would have time to befriend Fauna and convince her that he was likable, and have some fun with Jordyn doing it. That was what you call a "Perfect Plot".Jordyn's kiss didn't surprise him, not after the way she reacted to his touch. Leaning into it, he started to deepen it when she pulled away. He let out something akin to a moan and a growl, upset at being denied. He was proud of himself however, he had picked the right girl judging by how she was making him feel right now. Cold showers and day dreams about baseball were in short order.“You know, if I didn’t know better, I’d think you were a Slytherin yourself, I’m in.”Funny, the sorting hat had said a similar statement 6 years ago... until Devlin had started pondering the type of magic they used to create said hat. That seemed to be the deciding factor that got him into Ravenclaw. Sometimes he wished it was possible to switch houses though... Living in a dorm filled with people you used to be friends with and having to see the girl who broke your heart every single day was not his idea of fun. Girls like Jordyn, however, were. "I dunno... I would much rather be the snake charmer then the snake..." He purred back, grinning before kissing her "... A trait we seem to share..." He wondered if she got the joke, but realized the answer was obvious and chose to kiss her instead. Her lips were soft and tasted like coconut, a fact that made Devlin quite content. After all, he would be doing this often after all. Pulling away from the kiss, he paused long enough to add "... Then it's settled... The plan starts... now." before he returned with gusto to the embrace. Yeah, he could definitely get used to this. Skip to next post Re: [April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) Reply #9 on February 28, 2009, 10:51:24 AM It appeared Jordyn knew exactly what she was doing. The little tortured sort of moan that signified he was not happy with her ability to rouse feelings of frustration. Jordyn was quite sure this was going to be a fun few months going back and forth for everything. After all, they needed to look legitimate, and even though it wasn’t her principle talent, she could be quite the convincing actress. Licking her lips, she tasted the coconut in her lip gloss, a little smeared now, and giggled almost innocently at his particular kind of pain. "I dunno... I would much rather be the snake charmer then the snake... A trait we seem to share..."For a moment, Jordyn was unaware of what he meant, and then, in a moment of clarity, her brown eyes grew even bigger and she started laughing. Shaking her head, the brown hair tumbled over her shoulders and tickled her neck as she did. She didn’t have a chance to say anything before he captured her lips up in another kiss, her arms snaking around his neck. These were going to be a fun few months."... Then it's settled... The plan starts... now.” “Let the games begin,” she purred, tugging on the hair on the back of his his head, returning to the very pleasant matters at hand. Everything was falling into its place, she thought, giggling to herself.FINISHED. Skip to next post

“That depends on what it is,” she put her hand on the wall, next to him, leaning for an advantageous angle, “You’ve intrigued me,” she added, “Go on.” Skip to next post

“I’m in.” Skip to next post
Re: [April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) Reply #8 on February 28, 2009, 10:17:58 AM The plan was ingenious (in his own expert opinion), sneaky, more then a tad underhanded and definitely was going to be fun. Skip to next post
Re: [April 30] The Day the Devil Met his Match (Jordyn) Reply #9 on February 28, 2009, 10:51:24 AM It appeared Jordyn knew exactly what she was doing.
