The blood line can be traced back to the days of the Hogwarts founders and has had many branches throughout Europe since then. The 'true' Wentworth line can be traced from father to son, as each generation seems doomed to only be able to carry on the name through a single son. Due to this the Wentworth's have been intermingled with many other Pureblood families over the years.Currently the Wentworth's are known for their thriving Magical Menageries that have been sprouting up around Europe and into North America and Australia over the past three decades. The family also owns several ranches where their magical and non magical animals are well cared for and bred to be sold in their shops. They have a close relationship with the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures (A relationship developed and strengthened thanks to the current Patriarch of the family) There is a Wentworth and Sons Magical Menagerie in Diagon Alley.The Wentworths have been connected to the Bagnolds, Raynors, Collins, Hollis, Bulstrodes, MacMillans, Cavanaughs, Tawses, and many more. He is very wealthy and a pureblood traditionalist believing in the societal hierarchy of wizard life. He's fiercely loyal to his family and believes in preserving the Pureblood way of life. He has insisted on these traditions being passed down to his daughters and grand daughters having arranged several marriages to preserve Pure Bloodlines. Though a very talented Obliviator, Arathorn left the Ministry behind to oversee the operations of his family business which includes shops around the globe and several ranches and breeding grounds. Arathorn is responsible for the company going international and exponentially increasing their family fortune. ESMERELDA WENTWORTH | June 7th 1932 - July 1998 | DECEASEDEsmerelda was seen as a sort of black sheep of her family. While raised in a Pureblood household she pushed against their ideals and traditions. Although she finally consented to her arranged marriage she still chose her own path and became an Auror against her parent's wishes. Despite the situation they were put in she came to love Arathorn and constantly challenged him to press his own boundaries. Her encouragement led him to become an Obliviator over joining the family business early on. She was a strong and vigilant if not slightly distant mother to her children. She fought in the Battle of Hogwarts where she lost her life. As the oldest Cordelia often took it upon herself to care for her younger siblings though she took on the burden with pride. She was often helped by a slew of Nannies, Tutors and Servants and rarely needed to bear any real responsibility, especially given the age differences between her and the youngest three. Unlike her sisters Cordelia was not fond of her arranged marriage. She had her first child out of obligation, and her second shortly after. Her third child however was born of a fondness it took her years to find for her husband. Although they both would have chosen differently if having given the chance Cordelia does love her husband, though more platonically than romantically. She absolutely adores her children and grandchildren however.JEREMY MacMILLAN | August 22nd 1955Jeremy was born of two well respected Pureblood families, the MacMillans and the Raynors. Much like his future wife he wasn't pleased with having an arranged marriage. He had a Hogwarts sweetheart that he had to leave behind to fulfill his obligations. While he didn't love Cordelia romantically, she was a dear friend. Jeremy is a loving and doting father, spending much more time with his daughters than he ever did his wife. Against his Father in law's wishes, Jeremy fought to keep his daughters from being married off the way his wife had. Always encouraging his girls to be themselves he was overjoyed when their eldest married and He became a wonderful, and playful grandfather, ready to spoil the little ones rotten. The Children PERSEPHONE PREWETT née MacMILLAN | January 2nd 1976 As the first born to Cordelia and Jeremy, Persephone was well taken care of by both parents but much like her younger sister was well aware that her parents were living in a loveless marriage. Despite their personal situation, all three of the girls were raised in a loving and supportive household. While Ava flourished as a free spirit and artist, Persephone found at a young age that she had a natural green thumb. She excelled in Potions and Herbology in Hogwarts. While at school she dated a Gryffindor named Owen and in their final year discovered she was pregnant. The pair were madly in love and chose to keep the baby, getting married shortly after graduation. It wasn't ideal but none of her family seemed to object, Persephone had her suspicions that if Owen hadn't been a Prewett, her family would have intervened. Since she's had three more children with Owen and fully supported his choice to take the position of Herbology Professor at Hogwarts. AVA WRIGHT nee MacMILLAN | May 9th 1977Ava has always been a free spirit, blossoming under her parents love for her. She understood at a young age that her parents weren't like other kid's parents. Her father insisted on teaching her to be herself despite the overbearing presence of her grandparents and the way her Aunts ( who were only a few years older than her) were treated. Ava spent many of her early years with her Aunts Cassidy and Scarlett and was often teased by her Uncle Henry. She had great respect for her large extended family but certainly seemed to prefer her father's side whom embraced her individuality. She met her husband while traveling abroad. Despite her reservations about her mother's family her love of animals landed her a job working for one of her Grandfather's Ranches. Since getting married Ava has had four children, her eldest already attending HogwartsELOISE MacMILLAN | May 9th 1987Eloise was born a decade after her older sister. With the large age difference between them Eloise was much closer to her cousins - Berkeley, Charisma, Timothy, and Blithe. Unlike her sister Eloise never noticed anything different about her parents and also didn't fight against her Grandparents' Pureblood traditions. Her father kept her from being married off and allowed her to chose her own path, which just so happened to lead her into the height of Pureblood society. Their parents were almost always busy and it was the two girls alone in the large manor (save for the extensive staff of Nannies, Tutors and Servants) She was always closest with Cordelia and paid no real mind to her younger sisters until they were all adults. She did well at school and was lucky enough to adore the man her parents had chosen for her. The two courted through their entire time at Hogwarts and were swiftly married after graduation. Although a traditionalist Sybil is a doting mother eager to have her children embrace their families ideals. She deemed not to arrange marriages for her children but has had several words about who they have become involved with. Only her eldest is currently married.LIAM COLLINS | January 6th 1956Liam is from the Irish Branch of Collins purebloods, those that returned to Ireland after immigrating to Canada. Though not wealthy the Collins were still well respected for their long line of Ministry workers. Liam fell for Sybil at first sight and was actually instrumental in their betrothal - though he has never told Sybil this. A dedicated husband and Father, Liam never bought into archaic Pureblood traditions but respected his wife's family. Though he didn't voice it loudly he was relieved that Sybil chose not to get involved in who their children married, even if she did like to meddle in their relationships. The ChildrenJAMESON COLLINS | September 16th 1979The eldest of four Jameson wasn't always the most responsible. He adored his Uncle Henry (who was only five years older than him) and was often causing trouble for his Grandparents. As he grew Jameson took interest in the family business of Magical Creatures of his father's family tradition of working for the Ministry. After graduation Jameson became a wrangler for his Grandfather's company working with the larger animals the company bred. He met his wife through work and while it's not often talked about with their extended family, had his daughter before properly marrying his wife. BLYTHE COLLINS | April 17th 1981Second born, Blythe was often trying to keep her older brother out of trouble. Compared to him she was the perfect child and was much less reckless than her siblings. She was close with her cousin Berkeley though the mouse of a girl was quiet and reserved. The two were often seen simply reading in each others presence over having tea parties or gossiping. She was a model study and was a Prefect during her time at Hogwarts. Unlike her siblings she decided to pursue a career in the Ministry over working for her Grandfather's company.TIMOTHY COLLINS | August 10th 1983Third born to Sybil and Liam, Timothy is nearly the complete opposite of his older brother but not nearly as studious as his older sister. Always a sort of happy in between. He did well in school but wasn't a star pupil, nor did he get in trouble. He performed well in quidditch but with a slightly smaller frame he made a good Seeker over Beater or Chaser. After Hogwarts Timothy started working for his Grandfather's company though not in the same capacity as his siblings or cousins. Having always been good with numbers Timothy works as an accountant. CHARISMA COLLINS | April 17th 1985The youngest of the four Collins children Charisma was always able to get away with whatever she wanted, often flying under the radar of Jameson's antics. She formed a close bond with her cousin Eloise, and though she didn't romanticize the Pureblood life like her cousin did she had no problem rising through the Hierarchy of popularity at school and spends her time as an adult in the same Theatre troupe as Eloise. She took after her mother more than most knew. She tended to defy her family's traditions though not in the same way some of her sisters or nieces had. She simply didn't put much stock in being a 'Lady'. At an early age she helped her uncles on the family ranches but once she was in school her interests turned more towards her studies, Defense Against the Dark Arts in particular. She had always wanted to be an Auror and worked hard to get into the Academy after graduation. She had met Kevin while at Hogwarts but the two hadn't started a relationship until they were both training to be Aurors. The pair had three children before Catherine died in the line of Duty during the Second Wizarding War, much like her mother.KEVIN CAVANAUGH | December 6th 1958 Kevin comes from a long line of Aurors. While his family are still pureblood they were never part of the Upper End. Nearly everyone in his family joined the Auror Corps at one point or another and it was never a question for him as to what he would do when he grew up. He met Catherine while they were still at Hogwarts but she was two years younger and in a different house, she in Gryffindor, he in Hufflepuff. They didn't really get to know each other until they were training as Aurors. Although he had never told her Kevin sought permission from Arathorn to marry Catherine knowing that the business man was fond of arranging marriages for his daughters. Kevin felt he lucked out getting his father in law's approval. Being a pureblood still had it's advantages and Catherine was the only one of her sisters who got to marry for love. During the Second Wizarding War, Catherine died and Kevin was attacked by a werewolf. He has been living with the affliction ever since. After the war Kevin was consumed with grief, the loss of his wife and his regular life completely consumed him. He stopped taking care of himself and was no use to his children. The youngest of which were taken away from him.The ChildrenBERKELEY CAVANAUGH | April 24th 1983 Berkeley is a small and unassuming woman, the kind you would expect to be a homemaker or a librarian. No one, not even her family expected her to become an Auror. She strives to be the best she can be and is a complete perfectionist to the point of almost throwing a fit if things aren't in their proper place. She has a hard time relating to others and often keeps to herself. Though she rarely turns down a fellow Auror if they need a favour from her which often leaves her writing up left over paperwork the others haven't had time to file. Berkeley is often overlooked and easily fades into the background but she's a damn good Auror and she'll let you know if you ever challenge her.When her mother died, Berkeley was still in Hogwarts. She spent holidays at the school, only going home during the summers where she could more or less take care of herself. She did her best to care for her depressed father, her younger siblings no longer living with him.[Secondary Character] BRIAR CAVANAUGH | June 24th 1992Briar middle child of Catherine and Kevin. The typical tomboy is not a fan of her family or the Cavanaugh legacy. The only thing she does seemed to be interested in when it comes to family is their pureblood connection to the Wentworth clan, though not his favourite Briar's rather close with her grandfather. She hates her father and all werewolves and secretly wishes he had died with honour alongside their mother instead of letting himself become a monster - a view she hasn't shared with either of her siblings. When her mother died Briar was taken in by her Grandfather. She had free reign of the Wentworth manner and treated the staff more like family. While she didn't want for anything and had everything she needed, she felt like Arathorn just tolerated her. It was obvious he favoured her other more proper cousins and it fostered even more resentment in Briar. [Primary Character]KYSON CAVANAUGH | August 10th 1995 | SIXTH YEAR SLYHTERINKyson is the rambunctious youngest of the three Cavanaugh children. He's often wild and reckless, seeming to fit in more with the Gryffindor crowd however his cunning and rare mean streak make the green and silver colours right at home. Kyson's mother died during the Battle for Hogwarts and his father turned into a werewolf which many have accounted for his reckless behaviour though Kyson doesn't seem to mind. He's looking forward to continuing the family tradition and becoming a Auror.Kyson was only a toddler when his mother died and the war ended. With the loss of his mother and essentially his father as well, Kyson was taken in by his Aunt Sheridan. Her twins were the same age as him and the three boys already got along so well. She was easily the most shy of all the daughters and was often overlooked. She inherited her mother's small stature and often used it to her advantage. It was surprising what she could catch people saying or doing when they thought she wasn't there. As a child she loved exploring the magical Wentworth Manor and is likely the only one of the seven children to discover all its secrets. Likewise once she went to Hogwarts she delighted in exploring the castle and trying to find new hidden passages. While she had an arranged marriage like her sisters, unlike them she didn't know her husband during her teen years. The older Bagnold was already graduated by the time she entered her third year. The two weren't married until Sheridan was already in her twenties and compared to many of her family she started her own family late. Sheridan currently works in Public Relations for the family business, attending most public and charitable events expected of the Pureblood Socialites.REED BAGNOLD | November 28th 1962Reed comes from a long line of Pureblood families. While his father was a Bagnold his mother was a Raynor, one of the last generations of the family as there were no male heirs to carry on the old wizarding name. He took pride in both sides of his heritage. Though he wasn't a traditionalist or an extremist he was still proud of who he was and the families he represented. Reed agreed to his arranged marriage on his own terms despite reservations from his family. He was seventeen at the time of the arrangement, his future wife only twelve. It gave him a sort of freedom to pursue what he wanted in life while also having the security of a future family. The pair didn't marry until he was in his late twenties and he didn't become a father until he was in his thirties. Despite the arrangement Reed is very fond of his wife and tries to be as supportive of his children as possible, although admittedly he tends to spoil Nicola over his three sons.The ChildrenGRANT BAGNOLD | August 1st 1995 | SIXTH YEAR RAVENCLAWFirst twin born to Sheridan and Reed, Grant is the more level headed of the two. The brains of the operation so to speak. An easy choice for Ravenclaw, Grant is studious and clever but also rather charismatic like his father. The twins spent a fair amount of their early years traveling, as their mother attended charitable events, press conferences and store openings. Grant used this time, even as a youngster to learn as much as he could about the many places and cultures they visited. Now in Hogwarts, Grant continues to soak up as much information as he possibly can while flourishing amongst the many social circles of the Wizarding School. KELLY BAGNOLD | August 1st 1995 | SIXTH YEAR RAVENCLAWSecond twin born to Sheridan and Reed and younger of the two. Kelly is the more physical of the twins though he's just as clever as his brother. He's also not as socially graceful. While not as shy and withdrawn as his mother was as a child Kelly does tend to keep to his core group of friends without venturing too far. As they travelled as children Kelly was more interested in finding and playing as many different games their destinations had to offer, whether they were physical or strategic in nature. Once in Hogwarts he liked to apply this to Quidditch though he hasn't played on the team directly. He has often been an assistant to the Team Captain helping him work out new plays and strategies.HARRISON BAGNOLD | May 29th 1998 | THIRD YEAR GRYFFINDORThird child son born to Sheridan and Reed, Harrison was born at the peak of the Second Wizarding War. Although the family had a fair amount of protection given their pureblood status they didn't want anything to do with the conflict. Thankfully Sheridan's job afforded her many opportunities to leave the country. Harrison is the only one of the Bagnold children not born in England. Given the conflict, Harrison has always felt like his parents treated him as if he were fragile and now as a teenager has grown tired of the overprotective attitude. He's eager to break free of his parents' coddling and come out from under his older brothers' shadows.NICOLA BAGNOLD | January 16th 2000 | FIRST YEAR SLYTHERINFourth child and only daughter born to Sheridan and Reed, Nicola was decidedly treated differently than her brothers. Her father doted upon her, being Daddy's little girl. Her mother was simply thankful that she was born after the war and didn't coddle her the way she did Harrison. She has delighted in traveling with her mother and has attended as many events as she was allowed, shadowing her and learning what she can about being the public face of a company (at least as much as the eleven year old can comprehend) She is eager to join her brothers at Hogwarts and discover what house she'll be sorted into. She idolized her eldest sisters Cordelia and Sybil while (often openly) condemning her sister Catherine. The age difference between her and Sheridan - and given the older girls propensity for blending into the background - left Scarlett on her own most of the time. She didn't mind though as she was more interested in following her studies. Unlike her sisters Scarlett revelled in being betrothed and wore it like a badge of honour. Her future husband was the dark and brooding type, the kind all the girls swooned over in school and Scarlett wasted no time bragging about how he was hers. The pair were married shortly after graduation and tried to start a family shortly after. Unfortunately it wasn't until a few years later that she gave birth to her son. Although, much to her delight she was pregnant swiftly after his birth and had her daughter only ten months later. Scarlett was very involved in raising her children alongside the regular horder of nannies and tutors, impressing on her daughter how important it is to be a Lady. Once the pair started attending Hogwarts she got a part time job at St Mungo's, giving her plenty of time to keep up with all her socialite 'duties'.BALTHAZAR BULSTRODE | July 7th 1970Born to the notorious Bulstrode family, Balthazar is the oldest of six children and the only son. It was impressed on him at a young age that his heritage was important and that it fell to him to carry on the Bulstrode name. Although somewhere along the line the family lost their pureblood status his parents assured him that he was still pureblood and taught him how to act as such. Balthazar seemed indifferent about his arranged marriage, while his future wife was eager to brag about him Balthazar simply humored her. It wasn't so much that he didn't like her he just didn't enjoy many things about school. Once graduated he joined the Department of Mysteries and has thrown himself in his work. He treats his wife and children well when around about leaves the child rearing and nurturing to those more qualified. He has been rather absent in the decisions regarding his daughter's own arranged marriage feeling it is something his wife knows more about.The ChildrenTIBERIUS BULSTRODE | November 2, 1992First child born to Scarlett and Balthazar, Tiberius is a boy with far more character flaws than strengths. He is arrogant, jealous, confrontational, short tempered, judgmental, stubborn, resentful, and can be obsessive. Rus is a follower and easily manipulated by those with charisma. Though generally a bad apple, he has a few redeeming qualities. He's very loyal to his good friends, protective and appreciative of family, and has a natural aptitude for herbology, creatures, and his wand.[Retired Character played by Thea]CADANCE BULSTRODE| August 17th 1993 Cadance is everything you would expect a Pureblooded lady to be. She does what she's told and never argues. She holds a high regard for blood status but will not be outright rude to anyone below her, often just dismissing the muggle borns rather than instigating them or belittling them. Well dressed with an air of confidence Cadance is the perfect Slytherin Princess and a complete fake. The real Cadance is a creature no one has ever seen who hates the purebloods and their expectations of her. She was originally thought to be the last of the children, though Arathorn desperately wanted a son. Unlike her sister Scarlett, Cassidy was always rather pompous about being a Pureblood Lady. She relished the silver spoon she was born with and openly looked down on those she deemed inferior to her. She begged her father to have a betrothal like her sisters, believing it to be her right as a Proper Lady. Unfortunately her constant nagging left her father rushed in the process and she was betrothed to man named Marcus Nilson. Unbeknownst to Arathorn, the Nilsons had lost their wealth but had been rather good at making it look like they still belonged in high society. Cassidy didn't discover this until the pair were married. She relented to having children, as she was expected to but felt no real love for them. She blamed them along with Marcus for living a life in poverty. By the time her children were only seven and five she'd had enough. She left Marcus and her children behind running back to her father. This time when she demanded that she be given her birthright (a proper wealthy husband) Arathorn did extensive research in finding her a match. Cassidy sped up the courtship and married her new husband a mere month after meeting him. Though not the most handsome of men Alfie was fabulously wealthy and gave her everything she ever wanted. In return she gave him a son she could be truly proud of.ALFIE HOLLIS | August 6th 1976Alfie was born the only child of a wealthy pureblood family. Unfortunately he was also born a Squib. Although devoid of any magical talent Alfie kept himself immersed in Wizarding World. For most of his younger years his lack of magic was hidden from those around him. He was raised as a well spoken and respectful young man. Once he was at the age to be admitted into Hogwarts his parents sent him to a prestigious English Boarding School. He learned magical history and theory during the holidays and was able to keep up the illusion for most of his life. His parents used his absence from Hogwarts as a show of wealth and status, he was receiving a better, more elite education, keeping him away from the riff raff that got accepted to the public schools. Alfie however didn't hold to this ideal but acted well around his parents. He flourished in school and made many friends though was always seen as the little brother or best friend when it came to his romantic life. After graduation Alfie travelled the world, meeting other Squibs and learning how each coped - some happy in the Wizarding World, some living life in the Muggle one. In his early twenties Alfie was presented with an opportunity. He met with a man named Arathorn and was asked if he would be willing to marry the man's daughter. Concerned about a scandal his parents finally confessed to the nature of Alfie's condition. Thankfully it wasn't a deal breaker as the man was more concerned with his wealth and his ability to treat his daughter well. Alfie agreed and fell in love at first sight. Cassidy became his whole world, he treated her like the Princess she always thought herself to be and while he suspects she doesn't truly love him Alfie was happy either way. Arathorn offered him a job working within his vast company to keep up appearances, something that could easily be accomplished without the use of magic. Alfie is unaware of his wife's first marriage and the other children she bore.The ChildrenLEWIS NILSON | May 19th 1991 | DISOWNEDFirst child born to Cassidy and Marcus, Lewis seems to be the complete opposite of his younger sister. More quiet and reserved. He was seven when his mother left and fully aware of why she did. He never resented either parent for what had happened even though he knew his sister did. He simply tried to make the best of a bad situation. Now graduated Lewis has been doing what he can to make a life for himself. Much like his mother Riley is treated like a prince, given everything he has ever wanted with his father rarely ever saying no to him. He doesn't acknowledge his older siblings are his mother never talks about them. He only really knows his sister through reputation even though they're in the same house at Hogwarts and he's never met his brother. Although he had plenty of nephews and uncles, everything rested on his shoulders, a fate he had once wholly embraced. Unlike his sisters, Henry was not assigned a wife and was allowed to take one of his choosing. Thankfully he had chosen a well respected Pureblood girl, one his parents had approved of. While he waited for her to graduate he traveled with his father helping with the family business. While abroad he had an affair with a muggle girl who would later become pregnant. Although he married his Hogwarts sweetheart Henry lived two lives, split between two families. The more time he spent with his muggle Mistress and children the less he cared for his legacy. One day he finally left without a word. His father covered up his disappearance, allowing the world to think he had died while he lived in peace with his Mistress.[Secondary Character]ATHALIA TAWSE | July 6 1977Born to the notorious Tawse family, Athalia was taught at an early age how important it was that she was a Pureblood. Unfortunately this ideal led her father to follow Voldermort to failure during the first Wizarding War. As the oldest of the three Tawse children, Athalia was four when her father was sent to Azkaban. She didn't entirely understand what had happened but her mother always taught her that her father had been fighting the good fight and was proud to be in Azkaban. When she was Seven her father was given the Dementor's Kiss and not long after that he died. As Athalia entered school she still held the superior attitude of a Pureblood but was nowhere near as extreme as her parents. She was a bit of a troublemaker and a rebel, constantly fighting against the rules and challenging people's perceptions of her. In her second year Athalia caught the eye of a Fifth year named Henry. The two had a flirtatious relationship but didn't officially start dating given their age difference. It wasn't until the end of her fourth year that the pair made it 'official' much to her mother's delight. Henry was from a true Pureblood family, a man her father would have liked. However that summer, Athalia and Henry got a little too close and shortly into her fifth year at Hogwarts Athalia discovered she was pregnant. She didn't tell Henry until she saw him again during the Winter holidays. There was a great family meeting with Athalia's mother meeting with Henry's father. They decided to keep the child and expedite a wedding. The pair were married during Athalia's Spring Holidays but it wasn't widely announced given her age. She was removed from school shortly after, it was said she had contracted Spattergroit. She gave birth to her son whom she left in the care of her Mother and Aunt while she returned to Hogwarts to finish her final two years. After graduation the pair had a large Public Wedding and many simply looked the other way in regards to their son. Athalia raised her son as she and his father had been raised, with ideals of pureblood superiority and an importance of wealth. In 2000 Henry disappeared. Athalia was frantic to find her husband but after months of searching he was presumed dead. Athalia moved out of her London home and came to live in Montrose, Scotland with her Mother. She noticed the anger her son held towards his father and at his request enrolled him at Hogwarts under her surname instead of his father's. She cut all ties with Henry's family as did her son despite the large amount of cousins he'd be going to school with. In 2008 as the hunt for her brother came to a head her home in Montrose was destroyed. Her mother was sent to St Mungo's for her injuries and no one has seen or heard from Athalia since. ANGELINA McCORMMICK | November 3rd 1975Angelina was born in a happy middle class family. She had two older brothers and a younger sister. Her father was a teacher and her mother an accountant. While they weren't the wealthiest of families Angelina had what was needed and was raised to appreciate the value of hard work. She attended the local public school and excelled in more practical pursuits, like baking and football. In her junior years her football team won the regional championship. During a holiday visiting her father's family in Australia she met a handsome teen who was there on business with his father. She found him odd but in a charming way. It was easy to tell that he came from a rich family though he never treated her differently (despite how he treated others). The two had a whirlwind romance, one that resulted in Angelina getting pregnant. The teen pregnancy prevented her from becoming a professional football player but she strived to finish her senior years of school. She spent most of her pregnancy trying to track down Henry. No one had ever heard of him or the large company his father supposedly ran. She lucked out when a friend of hers saw him walking down Charing Cross Road one day. She staked out the location and a month after their son was born she finally lucked out in catching him. At first he was dismissive of her but after learning about their child his entire demeanor changed. He told her all about the Wizarding World and set her up in a nice house in a quiet village outside of London. He had explained how his family wouldn't approve but he was loving to both her and their son and spent as much time as he could with her. She didn't ask about his other life, the revelation that magic was real was enough to make her head spin and the less he talked about it the better things were. When their son was going on three the couple welcomed their second child. In 2000, as their children were coming up on Eight and Five Henry announced that he had left his father's company. He moved in permanently and the couple became blissfully happy. Angelina got a job at the local bakery and Henry stayed home with the kids teaching them what they needed to about magic before they were accepted into Hogwarts. Angelina never learned about Henry's wife and his other son.The ChildrenPEYTON WENTWORTH | September 19 1992First child born to Henry and Angelina, Peyton is the kind of guy you want to be your friend. He's kind gentle charming and sometimes funny. He's a strong loyal friend who isn't afraid to tell people what he thinks of them. He feels everyone has a chance to be his friend but won't push the matter on someone who doesn't want it. He's a strong and devoted Quidditch player on a path to professional play. The only problem is it often consumes him to the point where he forgets to do homework. Peyton is aware of his father's dark secrets but has kept the information from his sister. Despite his near decade long rivalry with his brother he's still unsure if the other knows of their connection to each other.[Primary Character]XAVIER TAWSE | May 22 1993 The first and only son born to Henry and Athalia, Xavier is the newest heir to the Wentworth fortune, chosen over even his older cousins as the only male to bear the Wentworth name. In the past however he has sworn off the family, hating his father for leaving him. More recently he has been slowly accepting his family ties. Xavier is the kind of guy that every single instinct you have tells you he's trouble and he's dangerous but you can't help but love him. He's so charming and smart and confident it's hard not to. You know there's something dark and evil about him but no one's ever caught him doing something bad. You can't quite understand why your head is screaming for you to run and your feet won't move. Xavier keeps you in his grasp and never lets you go.[Primary Character]HELENA WENTWORTH | June 3rd 1995 | SIXTH YEAR RAVENCLAW Helena is the younger sister of Quidditch Captain Peyton Wentworth. The two actually have a very strong bond and get along famously. Peyton's very protective of his little sister and in turn Helena likes taking care of her big brother. The third child born to Pureblood Outcast Henry Wentworth and (second child to) his mistress Angelina McCormmick. Helena is unaware of her family's darkest secrets. She's a quiet bookworm, the definition of a Ravenclaw though not without social graces. She's sweet and polite and has her own group of friends that she's been close to since her first year, though she doesn't often socialize outside her house - finding the Slytherin's untrustworthy, the Gryffindors too rambunctious and the Hufflepuffs too Flaky. He is very wealthy and a pureblood traditionalist believing in the societal hierarchy of wizard life. He's fiercely loyal to his family and believes in preserving the Pureblood way of life. He has insisted on these traditions being passed down to his daughters and grand daughters having arranged several marriages to preserve Pure Bloodlines. Though a very talented Obliviator, Arathorn left the Ministry behind to oversee the operations of his family business which includes shops around the globe and several ranches and breeding grounds. Arathorn is responsible for the company going international and exponentially increasing their family fortune. ESMERELDA WENTWORTH | June 7th 1932 - July 1998 | DECEASEDEsmerelda was seen as a sort of black sheep of her family. While raised in a Pureblood household she pushed against their ideals and traditions. Although she finally consented to her arranged marriage she still chose her own path and became an Auror against her parent's wishes. Despite the situation they were put in she came to love Arathorn and constantly challenged him to press his own boundaries. Her encouragement led him to become an Obliviator over joining the family business early on. She was a strong and vigilant if not slightly distant mother to her children. As the oldest Cordelia often took it upon herself to care for her younger siblings though she took on the burden with pride. She was often helped by a slew of Nannies, Tutors and Servants and rarely needed to bear any real responsibility, especially given the age differences between her and the youngest three. Unlike her sisters Cordelia was not fond of her arranged marriage. She had her first child out of obligation, and her second shortly after. Her third child however was born of a fondness it took her years to find for her husband. Although they both would have chosen differently if having given the chance Cordelia does love her husband, though more platonically than romantically. She absolutely adores her children and grandchildren however.JEREMY MacMILLAN | August 22nd 1955Jeremy was born of two well respected Pureblood families, the MacMillans and the Raynors. Much like his future wife he wasn't pleased with having an arranged marriage. He had a Hogwarts sweetheart that he had to leave behind to fulfill his obligations. While he didn't love Cordelia romantically, she was a dear friend. Jeremy is a loving and doting father, spending much more time with his daughters than he ever did his wife. Their parents were almost always busy and it was the two girls alone in the large manor (save for the extensive staff of Nannies, Tutors and Servants) She was always closest with Cordelia and paid no real mind to her younger sisters until they were all adults. She did well at school and was lucky enough to adore the man her parents had chosen for her. The two courted through their entire time at Hogwarts and were swiftly married after graduation. Although a traditionalist Sybil is a doting mother eager to have her children embrace their families ideals. She deemed not to arrange marriages for her children but has had several words about who they have become involved with. Only her eldest is currently married.LIAM COLLINS | January 6th 1956Liam is from the Irish Branch of Collins purebloods, those that returned to Ireland after immigrating to Canada. Though not wealthy the Collins were still well respected for their long line of Ministry workers. After graduation Jameson became a wrangler for his Grandfather's company working with the larger animals the company bred. BLYTHE COLLINS | April 17th 1981Second born, Blythe was often trying to keep her older brother out of trouble. Compared to him she was the perfect child and was much less reckless than her siblings. She was close with her cousin Berkeley though the mouse of a girl was quiet and reserved. The two were often seen simply reading in each others presence over having tea parties or gossiping. She was a model study and was a Prefect during her time at Hogwarts. Unlike her siblings she decided to pursue a career in the Ministry over working for her Grandfather's company.TIMOTHY COLLINS | August 10th 1983Third born to Sybil and Liam, Timothy is nearly the complete opposite of his older brother but not nearly as studious as his older sister. Always a sort of happy in between. He did well in school but wasn't a star pupil, nor did he get in trouble. He performed well in quidditch but with a slightly smaller frame he made a good Seeker over Beater or Chaser. After Hogwarts Timothy started working for his Grandfather's company though not in the same capacity as his siblings or cousins. Having always been good with numbers Timothy works as an accountant. CHARISMA COLLINS | April 17th 1985The youngest of the four Collins children Charisma was always able to get away with whatever she wanted, often flying under the radar of Jameson's antics. She formed a close bond with her cousin Eloise, and though she didn't romanticize the Pureblood life like her cousin did she had no problem rising through the Hierarchy of popularity at school and spends her time as an adult in the same Theatre troupe as Eloise. She took after her mother more than most knew. She tended to defy her family's traditions though not in the same way some of her sisters or nieces had. She simply didn't put much stock in being a 'Lady'. At an early age she helped her uncles on the family ranches but once she was in school her interests turned more towards her studies, Defense Against the Dark Arts in particular. She had always wanted to be an Auror and worked hard to get into the Academy after graduation. She had met Kevin while at Hogwarts but the two hadn't started a relationship until they were both training to be Aurors. The pair had three children before Catherine died in the line of Duty during the Second Wizarding War, much like her mother.KEVIN CAVANAUGH | December 6th 1958 Kevin comes from a long line of Aurors. While his family are still pureblood they were never part of the Upper End. Nearly everyone in his family joined the Auror Corps at one point or another and it was never a question for him as to what he would do when he grew up. He met Catherine while they were still at Hogwarts but she was two years younger and in a different house, she in Gryffindor, he in Hufflepuff. They didn't really get to know each other until they were training as Aurors. Although he had never told her Kevin sought permission from Arathorn to marry Catherine knowing that the business man was fond of arranging marriages for his daughters. Kevin felt he lucked out getting his father in law's approval. Being a pureblood still had it's advantages and Catherine was the only one of her sisters who got to marry for love. During the Second Wizarding War, Catherine died and Kevin was attacked by a werewolf. He has been living with the affliction ever since. After the war Kevin was consumed with grief, the loss of his wife and his regular life completely consumed him. He stopped taking care of himself and was no use to his children. The youngest of which were taken away from him.The ChildrenBERKELEY CAVANAUGH | April 24th 1983 Berkeley is a small and unassuming woman, the kind you would expect to be a homemaker or a librarian. No one, not even her family expected her to become an Auror. She strives to be the best she can be and is a complete perfectionist to the point of almost throwing a fit if things aren't in their proper place. She has a hard time relating to others and often keeps to herself. Though she rarely turns down a fellow Auror if they need a favour from her which often leaves her writing up left over paperwork the others haven't had time to file. Berkeley is often overlooked and easily fades into the background but she's a damn good Auror and she'll let you know if you ever challenge her.When her mother died, Berkeley was still in Hogwarts. She spent holidays at the school, only going home during the summers where she could more or less take care of herself. She did her best to care for her depressed father, her younger siblings no longer living with him.[Secondary Character] BRIAR CAVANAUGH | June 24th 1992Briar middle child of Catherine and Kevin. The typical tomboy is not a fan of her family or the Cavanaugh legacy. The only thing she does seemed to be interested in when it comes to family is their pureblood connection to the Wentworth clan, though not his favourite Briar's rather close with her grandfather. She hates her father and all werewolves and secretly wishes he had died with honour alongside their mother instead of letting himself become a monster - a view she hasn't shared with either of her siblings. When her mother died Briar was taken in by her Grandfather. She had free reign of the Wentworth manner and treated the staff more like family. While she didn't want for anything and had everything she needed, she felt like Arathorn just tolerated her. It was obvious he favoured her other more proper cousins and it fostered even more resentment in Briar. [Primary Character]KYSON CAVANAUGH | August 10th 1995 | SIXTH YEAR SLYHTERINKyson is the rambunctious youngest of the three Cavanaugh children. He's often wild and reckless, seeming to fit in more with the Gryffindor crowd however his cunning and rare mean streak make the green and silver colours right at home. Kyson's mother died during the Battle for Hogwarts and his father turned into a werewolf which many have accounted for his reckless behaviour though Kyson doesn't seem to mind. He's looking forward to continuing the family tradition and becoming a Auror.Kyson was only a toddler when his mother died and the war ended. With the loss of his mother and essentially his father as well, Kyson was taken in by his Aunt Sheridan. Her twins were the same age as him and the three boys already got along so well. Kyson feels like the boys (Grant, Kelly and Harrison) are just as good as his brother's and is even closer to his little cousin Nicola than he ever was with his actual sisters, Briar and Berkeley.[Primary Character] Skip to next post

She was easily the most shy of all the daughters and was often overlooked. She inherited her mother's small stature and often used it to her advantage. It was surprising what she could catch people saying or doing when they thought she wasn't there. As a child she loved exploring the magical Wentworth Manor and is likely the only one of the seven children to discover all its secrets. Likewise once she went to Hogwarts she delighted in exploring the castle and trying to find new hidden passages. While she had an arranged marriage like her sisters, unlike them she didn't know her husband during her teen years. The older Bagnold was already graduated by the time she entered her third year. The two weren't married until Sheridan was already in her twenties and compared to many of her family she started her own family late. Sheridan currently works in Public Relations for the family business, attending most public and charitable events expected of the Pureblood Socialites.REED BAGNOLD | November 28th 1962Reed comes from a long line of Pureblood families. While his father was a Bagnold his mother was a Raynor, one of the last generations of the family as there were no male heirs to carry on the old wizarding name. He took pride in both sides of his heritage. Though he wasn't a traditionalist or an extremist he was still proud of who he was and the families he represented. Reed agreed to his arranged marriage on his own terms despite reservations from his family. He was seventeen at the time of the arrangement, his future wife only twelve. It gave him a sort of freedom to pursue what he wanted in life while also having the security of a future family. The pair didn't marry until he was in his late twenties and he didn't become a father until he was in his thirties. Despite the arrangement Reed is very fond of his wife and tries to be as supportive of his children as possible, although admittedly he tends to spoil Nicola over his three sons.The ChildrenGRANT BAGNOLD | August 1st 1995 | SIXTH YEAR RAVENCLAWFirst twin born to Sheridan and Reed, Grant is the more level headed of the two. The brains of the operation so to speak. An easy choice for Ravenclaw, Grant is studious and clever but also rather charismatic like his father. The twins spent a fair amount of their early years traveling, as their mother attended charitable events, press conferences and store openings. Grant used this time, even as a youngster to learn as much as he could about the many places and cultures they visited. Now in Hogwarts, Grant continues to soak up as much information as he possibly can while flourishing amongst the many social circles of the Wizarding School. KELLY BAGNOLD | August 1st 1995 | SIXTH YEAR RAVENCLAWSecond twin born to Sheridan and Reed and younger of the two. Kelly is the more physical of the twins though he's just as clever as his brother. He's also not as socially graceful. While not as shy and withdrawn as his mother was as a child Kelly does tend to keep to his core group of friends without venturing too far. As they travelled as children Kelly was more interested in finding and playing as many different games their destinations had to offer, whether they were physical or strategic in nature. Once in Hogwarts he liked to apply this to Quidditch though he hasn't played on the team directly. He has often been an assistant to the Team Captain helping him work out new plays and strategies.HARRISON BAGNOLD | May 29th 1998 | THIRD YEAR GRYFFINDORThird child son born to Sheridan and Reed, Harrison was born at the peak of the Second Wizarding War. Although the family had a fair amount of protection given their pureblood status they didn't want anything to do with the conflict. Thankfully Sheridan's job afforded her many opportunities to leave the country. Harrison is the only one of the Bagnold children not born in England. Given the conflict, Harrison has always felt like his parents treated him as if he were fragile and now as a teenager has grown tired of the overprotective attitude. He's eager to break free of his parents' coddling and come out from under his older brothers' shadows.NICOLA BAGNOLD | January 16th 2000 | FIRST YEAR SLYTHERINFourth child and only daughter born to Sheridan and Reed, Nicola was decidedly treated differently than her brothers. Her father doted upon her, being Daddy's little girl. Her mother was simply thankful that she was born after the war and didn't coddle her the way she did Harrison. She has delighted in traveling with her mother and has attended as many events as she was allowed, shadowing her and learning what she can about being the public face of a company (at least as much as the eleven year old can comprehend) She is eager to join her brothers at Hogwarts and discover what house she'll be sorted into. She idolized her eldest sisters Cordelia and Sybil while (often openly) condemning her sister Catherine. The age difference between her and Sheridan - and given the older girls propensity for blending into the background - left Scarlett on her own most of the time. She didn't mind though as she was more interested in following her studies. Unlike her sisters Scarlett revelled in being betrothed and wore it like a badge of honour. She does what she's told and never argues. She was originally thought to be the last of the children, though Arathorn desperately wanted a son. Unlike her sister Scarlett, Cassidy was always rather pompous about being a Pureblood Lady. She relished the silver spoon she was born with and openly looked down on those she deemed inferior to her. She begged her father to have a betrothal like her sisters, believing it to be her right as a Proper Lady. Unfortunately her constant nagging left her father rushed in the process and she was betrothed to man named Marcus Nilson. Unbeknownst to Arathorn, the Nilsons had lost their wealth but had been rather good at making it look like they still belonged in high society. Cassidy didn't discover this until the pair were married. She relented to having children, as she was expected to but felt no real love for them. She blamed them along with Marcus for living a life in poverty. By the time her children were only seven and five she'd had enough. She left Marcus and her children behind running back to her father. This time when she demanded that she be given her birthright (a proper wealthy husband) Arathorn did extensive research in finding her a match. Cassidy sped up the courtship and married her new husband a mere month after meeting him. Though not the most handsome of men Alfie was fabulously wealthy and gave her everything she ever wanted. In return she gave him a son she could be truly proud of.ALFIE HOLLIS | August 6th 1976Alfie was born the only child of a wealthy pureblood family. Unfortunately he was also born a Squib. Although devoid of any magical talent Alfie kept himself immersed in Wizarding World. For most of his younger years his lack of magic was hidden from those around him. He was raised as a well spoken and respectful young man. Once he was at the age to be admitted into Hogwarts his parents sent him to a prestigious English Boarding School. He learned magical history and theory during the holidays and was able to keep up the illusion for most of his life. His parents used his absence from Hogwarts as a show of wealth and status, he was receiving a better, more elite education, keeping him away from the riff raff that got accepted to the public schools. Alfie however didn't hold to this ideal but acted well around his parents. He flourished in school and made many friends though was always seen as the little brother or best friend when it came to his romantic life. After graduation Alfie travelled the world, meeting other Squibs and learning how each coped - some happy in the Wizarding World, some living life in the Muggle one. In his early twenties Alfie was presented with an opportunity. He met with a man named Arathorn and was asked if he would be willing to marry the man's daughter. Concerned about a scandal his parents finally confessed to the nature of Alfie's condition. Thankfully it wasn't a deal breaker as the man was more concerned with his wealth and his ability to treat his daughter well. Alfie agreed and fell in love at first sight. Cassidy became his whole world, he treated her like the Princess she always thought herself to be and while he suspects she doesn't truly love him Alfie was happy either way. Arathorn offered him a job working within his vast company to keep up appearances, something that could easily be accomplished without the use of magic. Although he had plenty of nephews and uncles, everything rested on his shoulders, a fate he had once wholly embraced. Unlike his sisters, Henry was not assigned a wife and was allowed to take one of his choosing. Thankfully he had chosen a well respected Pureblood girl, one his parents had approved of. While he waited for her to graduate he traveled with his father helping with the family business. While abroad he had an affair with a muggle girl who would later become pregnant. Although he married his Hogwarts sweetheart Henry lived two lives, split between two families. The more time he spent with his muggle Mistress and children the less he cared for his legacy. One day he finally left without a word. His father covered up his disappearance, allowing the world to think he had died while he lived in peace with his Mistress.[Secondary Character]ATHALIA TAWSE | July 6 1977Born to the notorious Tawse family, Athalia was taught at an early age how important it was that she was a Pureblood. Unfortunately this ideal led her father to follow Voldermort to failure during the first Wizarding War. As the oldest of the three Tawse children, Athalia was four when her father was sent to Azkaban. She didn't entirely understand what had happened but her mother always taught her that her father had been fighting the good fight and was proud to be in Azkaban. When she was Seven her father was given the Dementor's Kiss and not long after that he died. As Athalia entered school she still held the superior attitude of a Pureblood but was nowhere near as extreme as her parents. She was a bit of a troublemaker and a rebel, constantly fighting against the rules and challenging people's perceptions of her. In her second year Athalia caught the eye of a Fifth year named Henry. The two had a flirtatious relationship but didn't officially start dating given their age difference. It wasn't until the end of her fourth year that the pair made it 'official' much to her mother's delight. Henry was from a true Pureblood family, a man her father would have liked. However that summer, Athalia and Henry got a little too close and shortly into her fifth year at Hogwarts Athalia discovered she was pregnant. She didn't tell Henry until she saw him again during the Winter holidays. There was a great family meeting with Athalia's mother meeting with Henry's father. They decided to keep the child and expedite a wedding. The pair were married during Athalia's Spring Holidays but it wasn't widely announced given her age. She was removed from school shortly after, it was said she had contracted Spattergroit. She gave birth to her son whom she left in the care of her Mother and Aunt while she returned to Hogwarts to finish her final two years. After graduation the pair had a large Public Wedding and many simply looked the other way in regards to their son. Athalia raised her son as she and his father had been raised, with ideals of pureblood superiority and an importance of wealth. In 2000 Henry disappeared. Athalia was frantic to find her husband but after months of searching he was presumed dead. Athalia moved out of her London home and came to live in Montrose, Scotland with her Mother. She noticed the anger her son held towards his father and at his request enrolled him at Hogwarts under her surname instead of his father's. She cut all ties with Henry's family as did her son despite the large amount of cousins he'd be going to school with. In 2008 as the hunt for her brother came to a head her home in Montrose was destroyed. Her mother was sent to St Mungo's for her injuries and no one has seen or heard from Athalia since. ANGELINA McCORMMICK | November 3rd 1975Angelina was born in a happy middle class family. She had two older brothers and a younger sister. Her father was a teacher and her mother an accountant. While they weren't the wealthiest of families Angelina had what was needed and was raised to appreciate the value of hard work. She attended the local public school and excelled in more practical pursuits, like baking and football. In her junior years her football team won the regional championship. During a holiday visiting her father's family in Australia she met a handsome teen who was there on business with his father. She found him odd but in a charming way. It was easy to tell that he came from a rich family though he never treated her differently (despite how he treated others). The two had a whirlwind romance, one that resulted in Angelina getting pregnant. The teen pregnancy prevented her from becoming a professional football player but she strived to finish her senior years of school. She spent most of her pregnancy trying to track down Henry. No one had ever heard of him or the large company his father supposedly ran. She lucked out when a friend of hers saw him walking down Charing Cross Road one day. She staked out the location and a month after their son was born she finally lucked out in catching him. At first he was dismissive of her but after learning about their child his entire demeanor changed. He told her all about the Wizarding World and set her up in a nice house in a quiet village outside of London. He had explained how his family wouldn't approve but he was loving to both her and their son and spent as much time as he could with her. She didn't ask about his other life, the revelation that magic was real was enough to make her head spin and the less he talked about it the better things were. When their son was going on three the couple welcomed their second child. In 2000, as their children were coming up on Eight and Five Henry announced that he had left his father's company. He moved in permanently and the couple became blissfully happy. Angelina got a job at the local bakery and Henry stayed home with the kids teaching them what they needed to about magic before they were accepted into Hogwarts. Angelina never learned about Henry's wife and his other son.The ChildrenPEYTON WENTWORTH | September 19 1992First child born to Henry and Angelina, Peyton is the kind of guy you want to be your friend. He's kind gentle charming and sometimes funny. He's a strong loyal friend who isn't afraid to tell people what he thinks of them. He feels everyone has a chance to be his friend but won't push the matter on someone who doesn't want it. He's a strong and devoted Quidditch player on a path to professional play. The only problem is it often consumes him to the point where he forgets to do homework. Peyton is aware of his father's dark secrets but has kept the information from his sister. She's a quiet bookworm, the definition of a Ravenclaw though not without social graces. She's sweet and polite and has her own group of friends that she's been close to since her first year, though she doesn't often socialize outside her house - finding the Slytherin's untrustworthy, the Gryffindors too rambunctious and the Hufflepuffs too Flaky.
