Physical Description: Pin-straight locks cascade feverishly down Lola's back to the very heart of her back. Their light brown tint resembles that of a mouse and lightens during the sunny months, but loses it's lightness in the winter months when she remains inside. Lola hasn't cut her hair in quite a few years, and it's unkempt looks makes Lola's mother cringe. Lola's afraid her mother might cut her hair while she's sleeping, so she wears a bun to bed. Other than that, she rarely wears her hair up. Lola is a big fan of hats, headbands, hair clips, and various other hair trinkets. The more colorful, the better.

Her eyes are a bluish green color, the same as her father's. Her large owl-like orbs are lined by a set of long lashes. Her face is oval shaped but she has more definition around her cheekbone area, so it could also be described as a heart shape. Her lips are light coral in tint and are full, but usually pulled into a grin which reveals a small gap between her two front teeth. You could say that her face is quite alien in it's appeal, but it's oddness and it's graceful definition makes it all the more beautiful.

The girl has a long boyish torso, with a small waist and larger hips. Her shoulders aren't very broad at all and her limbs are awkwardly long. Her fingers are long and bony, while her skin is a milky pale color. If she had a bigger head, she'd definitely be considered a 'lollipop' but her head is quite proportionate to the rest of her body, thank you very much. She is quite thin, but is fuller in some areas than others, as everyone carries their weight differently. Her thighs are where most of her weight pools, as well as her hip area. Her chest is on the flatter side which, again, gives her a boyish appeal.

Always smiling, the slight gap between Lola's two front teeth makes her stand out quite a bit. But she's not really brought down by this, as she heard that gaps between a woman's teeth were highly sexual in Britain, long ago. Other than this, Lola has quite the eccentric style of dress which is unlike anyone else's.

Personality Description: Lola is idealistic to the point where she tends to blur reality and ideals. Sometimes what she dreams would happen with the wizarding world are things that are very unattainable. But nevertheless she maintains a very optimistic air about her. She's at the point where she realizes that she cannot single-handedly take on social change. Her idealism can be a plus, because she always sees things positively but it can also be a vice because it causes her to set high-expectations that, most likely, will not be met.

It's easy for Lola to confuse herself as she never thinks about one thing at a time. Her mind runs a million miles a minute and her moods are indefinite as she could be upset one second, but be distracted the next. She's very easily distracted which is sometimes a weakness as she can be a bit overwhelming to be around sometimes. She is also quite indecisive and isn't sure what it is that she wants, but once she distracts herself it's a matter that's forgotten about. Lola can talk and talk and talk and talk for hours on end about the most useless of things. It's often seems like she's having a conversation with herself since she is always so dominant in the way she converses with others. She most certainly tells people much more than they want to know and is always sure to make sure they learn a new useless fact.

Though Lola has a very kind and loving demeanor, she just can't hold her tongue about social issues. she is very passionate and argumentative about these themes, so she's definitely not one to hold back. However, she is very remorseful and often times to apologize in the midst of a heated debate. The whole stubborn but remorseful thing can be as much of a flaw, as it can be strength. It's very much a flaw as she can seem quite spineless, but at the same time it shows that she's forgiving.

It's not possible for Lola to stay angry for too long. not only is her train of thought always changing, it isn't rare for Lola’s mood to change with it but she's usually cheerful. She can always bring up someone's mood as happiness and excitement, for the day, can always lift a spirit. Whenever Lola does something, she makes sure to put much effort into it. As a little girl, Lola was taught by her tightly wound mother that impressions and doing things well are always a good habit. Lola has carried this with her to Hogwarts and is sure to use this quality of hers everyday.

Lola always wants to learn more! she can never get enough facts and it is for this reason that she pursues some scholarly pursuits outside of the classroom. She's always been an avid reader so many times she gains this knowledge through reading essays she finds in local newspapers and magazines. It's not rare to see her with her nose stuffed in a stack of aged newspapers. Even though she tries to be knowledgeable by reading essays, she is quite gullible at times. And most of what she knows is useless fact. sometimes it's hard for to know when exactly she's being had and when something is fact. This, most likely, stems from her ability to trust people easily. She believes people are truly wonderful deep down, even the most vile of Slytherins and Gryffindors. This trust, however, often plants her in sticky situations as she is often put in the position where she is taken advantage of.

History: Born on April 12th to Rikard and Olina Ingberg, Lola was a bouncy baby from the day she was born. She was always fairly unruly, but as she got older her overactive behavior came to a die down and was replaced with an overactive mind and mouth. At a very young age, she was given very few guidelines to attach to, other than the ones her mother imposed on her. For the most part, she was allowed to explore and grew up freely and as carefree as any child should. when she was four, or so, her baby brother was born. and when most children would become envious of a new child in the house Lola was quite open and loving toward her brother. She even tried to get him to call her 'mama.'

From then on, Lola spent her mornings sitting on a stool at her father's pastry shop while her mother stayed home with her baby brother. It was there where many of her ideas spurted into life. She'd have many discussions with her father about things and while she would wait for her father to finish up she'd read long articles in the prophet, where her love of informative articles came from. At the age of eight, she began standard schooling and was no longer able to visit the bakery. She'd only really visit on weekends, and found it a safe haven if she were having a stressful week.

When Lola was ten, the family moved from the small suburb to London at the age of ten helped Lola open her eyes at a very young age. In a small town, Lola was always sort of guarded from reality but in the big city? things were bound to change. She was seeing so many new things she had never experienced before, and somethings changed her while others numbed her and many times her curiosity was piqued. Her curiosity caused her to question and her questioning caused her to develop a sense of self.

But at the age of ten she received a letter from Hogwarts. They chose to send Lola to Hogwarts because Olina was an alum and felt that they'd mold her into an educated, proper student. While at Hogwarts, she met many children. But she was happy to find that Hogwarts wasn’t as strict as her mother had hoped. At Hogwarts, Lola met Miles Faraday. As a child, Lola never had many friends and it was hard for her to find somewhere where she fit, to put it simply. Upon arriving at Hogwarts, the first few weeks were awkward but she slowly worked herself into to the more social part of school. And someone she was immediately drawn to was Miles. No, not because his cheekbones could cut through a rock but more because of the fact that he thought the same way as her. It was friendship at first sight.

But now, she is in her sixth year. Lola's been doing alright in school, and she's cultivating her talents. She's quite good at Divination and also feels quite comfortable with he abilities as a semi-activist. She's started a club with her best friend Miles F, called Wizards for Social Change.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Though Lola appreciates intellectual pursuits she’s not nearly as intelligent as those in the Ravenclaw house. Her good nature and love–all attitude makes her a perfect candidate for Hufflepuff. Not to mention her loyalty to those she loves.

    Writing Sample:
That morning, Lola had woken up a little earlier than normal, as she had a horrible habit of slumbering until noon during the summers, but she had extra spring in her step. And no, it wasn’t because she had just downed three mugs of coffee in record time, or even the fact that the boiler had waited until she had made her way into the shower to give out. No, it was because today she’d see her bestestestestest friend in the whole wide world for the first time since the summer had begun. She stomped up the stairs to finish packing her bottomless bag. Tent? Check. Pastries? Check. Various knick knacks? Check. One final look around her room confirmed that she had not in fact forgotten anything, but it never hurt to check twice. Putting her finger to her lips, deep in thought, she tried to recall if she had forgotten something. But that was stupid because you can’t recall something if you forget it. There her mind wandered once more, hopeless.

She picked up her bag and went down the stairs kissed her mother goodbye and found that her father was already outside. He was so impatient, they were apparating! It wasn’t as if they were going to be late… But you’d never know. She adjusted her bowler and looped her arm through her father’s. “It’s a lovely day isn’t it? An even lovelier day for a confectioners convention, right?” She said, making small talk with her father. Rounding a corner she took note of the family’s favorite ‘apparition alleyway.’ No one ever came around these parts after a recent syphilis scare which caused the streetwalkers to move to different parts of the city. Holding onto her father’s arm naturally, she clenched onto her belongs even tighter as they apparated.

Luckily, her father had made sure to drop her off first. They arrived about a street away from a large apartment complex which she figured must have been Miles’s. She kissed her father goodbye and walked toward the apartment complex. She opened the first door, only to find that the second door was closed. Next to the door were various buttons, figuring they summoned things she pressed all of them and jumped when the box actually spoke back to her. “Miles?” She said, to the box, “Have you transfigured into an inanimate object?” Frightened only a little, she heard a buzz. And attempted to open the door a second time, but since it remained locked she waited until no one was looking and opened the door with her wand.

A look of confusion crossed her face as she saw a directory with many names. She searched for Faraday and found it at once. Next to it was the apartment number. “That must mean?” Without hesitation she climbed the stairs to the floor the directory had shown and looked for the door the directory had told her to go to. Taking a pair of plastic vampire fangs, she popped them in her mouth before she knocked on the door. Without noticing who had come to the door she began to speak, and boy was it hard to speak with a piece of plastic in your mouth or what? “Oh herro mah favrit vampahr freh!”

Looking up at the figure in the doorway, she felt quite dumb when she noticed that it was actually a middle–aged woman who she figured was Miles’s mother. Turning beet red, she proceeded with, “Herro, Mishs Fewahhday. Is Wyles hoh?”

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Lola is kind–hearted dreamer with a big heart. She is generous, optimistic, and bubbly. Sometimes, however, she can be quite gullible. She works hard for causes she believes in and is loyal to those she loves. She is socially aware of what goes on around her and is interested in everything Muggle–related. She thinks independently and refuses to follow everyone else's train of thought which is probably why she always seems like she's from another planet.
